I was one of the bands that played here a few weeks ago and the staff were very nice and treated us well.

These shots are of Kevin Daly and Pat Conley who together make up the Daly Rituals who played at the The Brighton Bar last night. Now I don't know if y'all know this, but the Brighton serves great food on Fridays and Saturdays. They got a nice Italian menu and its real "earthy" food, what my father used to call "peasant food"--the good stuff, the comfort food, meatballs and sketti and sausage, meat sauce, I had a nice chicken francaise which was quite good...they have a nice pasta fagioli, the food is good. If you're lookin' for a place to get a little dinner and go see some live music, on a Friday or Saturday night, the The Brighton Bar is a nice little change of pace.

For many it is an unknown bar and place for live entertainment tucked away in Long Branch. It's on the verge of being considered a dive bar or just dark which is fine with me..in fact it's my preference... people that go there are extremely cool some eclectic artsy and have good taste in music... drinks there are fairly reasonably priced but mixed drinks are not very big and their pour is " just ok" - its what they were taught, I'm told... anyway while the drinks are okay ...fir me at Brighton Bar its about seeing entertainment that I love about this place... it could be open mic night or you can have an up and coming or has been band there or who knows maybe a pretty famous artist or band playing there... a lot of the bands that play there play original material.- and that can be a good thing.. and at the same time I was delighted and enjoyed seeing a Cure cover band and Smith's cover band playing together in the same night at this venue... 2 years ago saw an older favorite CA punk like band of mine (Tsunami Bomb) play there and that made me rather happy. If you look at the wall or Hall of Fame of all the artists and bands that played there you would be pretty darn impressed and you probably wouldn't even know that they did play there. Grateful for this place , will definitely continue to patronize it as we need places like this to survive and thrive during covid times for fun and great music. Highly recommend- check it out!

Love this place! Cool little punk/metal bar that has a stage. I've been a couple times and absolutely love it. Parking can be a bit of a pain, you will have to walk. Lot's of places to eat around, and the prices at the bar are reasonable, I think they do also sell food, never tried it.

Great place to see bands and enjoy a night with friends doing so. Great Rock atmosphere. Good sound and back patio area to smoke and socialize. If your a band member or fan check the bookings and/or get booked!

First time being here, felt like the best kind of dive bar. Cant wait to head back and see another show.

Our band had a fantastic night at this cool venue just a couple blocks from the beach. Great vibe for a beach bar and strong commitment to original music. I would go back there in a second to perform or enjoy another band.

The most punk place I've ever been. Great live music, decent prices on drinks. Bathrooms could definitely use some love, but a great place nonetheless!
