This place is awesome. From the moment you step inside you are greeted by the owner Miriam with the biggest smile. We were a group of 6 tonight and the night was perfect. Miriam is right on top of everything. Food, drinks, dessert and service were all exceptional and we even had live music tonight Saturday night, 2/10. Highly recommend! Try this place and you will love it! I know we will be back and order a coconut mojito, you won't stop at one.
Wonderful food ambience, and the best mojitos I ever tasted. Great menu of wine and spirits the just on point, the quality of the steaks spectacular and cook to perfection, the empanadas super delicious every one was very very warm and courteous. And the server Andres was very professional and knowledgeable. I will go there many times and will refer all my friends and family.

My best friend and I went there yesterday. Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the Entree! Ambiance was nice. Fresh roses on each table setting. Prices seemed slightly high at first when looking at menu but everything was well worth it! I would definitely return again! Thank you
Really good food, great ambience, good service. Took my hubby for late birthday celebration last nite n the food was really good. I had the lemon chicken, hubby had pull pork n son had churrasco with fries. Had the white sangria n it was really good a little bit strong but good
The food is absolutly delicious!! Great portion size. You have to try the Fried Ice-cream for dessert! The whole atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting. Great for a group or date night spot.

My first day at Madera's was yesterday ,my cousin Tania and my sister Mariella took me and everything was amazing food and the attention was excellent the owner and his wife they are good people everybody are perfect I recommended the restaurant Thank you so much for good attention
Came on a Friday night and it was a calm and welcoming atmosphere. I love the interior of the place. I appreciate greatly that it wasn’t too crowded. Our waiter was attentive and got us everything we needed right on time, thank you again if you get to read this for your hospitality! The food here is good… if you’re going to go for anything just go and get the food please. My 7 year old ate every single shrimp that was on her plate, guys. Thankfully the pier is close by because after eating all that delicious food you’re definitely going to need a walk!
Very nice restaurant with a very nice group of staff. Food is really well prepared and has a charm about it. Madera chicken was really good, a touch salty but good nevertheless. Yuka fries were nice as well. Definitely recommend.

An amazing place for a date night, very specious with a nice decor. Delicious food, drinks and atmosphere. Prices are on the high end but adequate to the quality of service and food. The SKIRT STEAK with chimichurri was delicious as well as the whole Red Snapper with mango and black beans. Of course mojitos are a must at this Cuban restaurant!

All around a great place that I’d love to come back to and try out other options. The waiting staff is very friendly and helped out with a few food choices! The madera chicken is great and if recommended a few empanadas to try out as well. The quality is there and the sizes are rather generous. Would definitely stop by if you’re in the area and looking for some great food!
I tried the ground beef empanada, what a delightful experience! The mixed flavor of the empanada veggies, the ground beef and most importantly the spicy sauce was so good, I honestly wanted a 2nd one but I was afraid I’d not have enough hunger for the entree.
I came here for the ropa vieja with white rice and beans, the shredded beef was served in a cup made out of fried yucca and it was properly marinated although I felt a ketchup like flavor as I was finishing it, the sweet bananas were mashed and under the cup, first time I’m having it this way, overall it was great too.

Very good food. Tasted authentic and natural. I’ll recommend the empanadas sampler highly, my favorite was the spinach and cheese one in the middle. Drinks were good, I requested the Bloody Mary spicy and was satisfied. Steak and eggs was slightly overdone for the requested medium. Staff was very receptive and food came out quickly. I’d definitely take another visit out here.
We visit LIC a few times a year and ALWAYS have at least 1-2 meals in our 3-4 day stay. Service, food and atmosphere are phenomenal! Gotta try the White Sangria!
We celebrated our nephews 17th birthday here and if I can give more than 5 stars I would. The food was delicious (tostones relleno, yuca fríes, empanada, churrasco steak, ropa vieja )the drinks were on point , my husband and I had mojitos( coconut & Passionfruit), Best mojitos we’ve had yet.
The service was exceptional, our hostess was extremely accommodating from beginning to end, the whole team was very attentive. The ambiance was very pleasant, there was live music which we enjoyed very much. We will return to this restaurant for future family events. Thank you to the Team at Madera LIC!
Always excellent food and good cocktails. Live music many nights is always a plus. Cozy indoor space and fun outdoor seating for warmer nights. Family owned and it shows in the best of ways.
Lively space, good for casual friends dinners or dates. Though basic, the steak type foods are surprisingly good options. Madera chicken is also a recommend.
A bit on the expensive side, so plan about $65/person for an entree and a drink ($14 for cocktails).
The most amazing paella de mariscos I’ve had in a long long time!! The bistec acebollado was very well seasoned too! Great ambiance inside with great A/C and cute patio.
Great place to hang out ..order some appetizers and drinks. The drinks are delish. The food is very good. The wait staff was friendly, attentive and courteous.

👍🏾👍🏾. We ate inside but the outside setup is cute except is gets a little bit noisy due to traffic . Our lunch special was good but they were not serving everything on the menu no yellow rice and oxtails which we were really looking forward to . They did give a special exception to my Mom and she got yellow rice .🥰
Great service, great price and the food was really good. We had an original and passion fruit Mojito they were good too. Ropa vieja very tender juicy and well seasoned. The cuban sandwich and yuca fries were good. And most importantly, we took home food! The appetizers we had were ham croquettes were pretty big and the tostones rellenos with ropa vieja on point!
