My husband and I stopped by while in downtown Longview! I have to say the coffee was some of the best I've ever had (a vanilla Latte, it was perfectly sweetened which is unusual for most places) the staff were very courteous and friendly, the decor was industrial/rustic which is typical of any local coffee shop! I am quite the coffee snob and tried coffee from all over the world and this is a close 1st or 2nd! People are comparing this place to Starbucks... which isn't even comparable in my book. I hope they stay around, Longview needs a fabulous coffee shop!
Great place to chat, study, or just hang out! I love coming here. The staff are friendly and helpful, the coffee tastes great, and the location is perfect (downtown!). Definitely my go-to place for everything.
I’m not a coffee drinker typically, but we stopped and had a maple bourbon latte. It was very very good. Definitely would suggest trying it. Definitely stop and check it out, great coffee and an awesome staff.
This coffee shop added much needed life to Longview's downtown area. The atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly. I love their lattes! I get mine plain and it's still excellent!

This morning I ordered a pour over and sat down. After a little time, I had noticed my barista had abandoned the brew, and it was just sitting on the scale. She was over here talking, and then she was over there cleaning, and I'm sitting there watching my coffee get cold. Or so I thought, until the other barista presented a fresh brewed cup. He explained to me that the brew I had been watching was under extracted and they made me a new cup. He even let me taste the failed cup to compare, and boy was there a difference! I cant tell you how much I appreciated that. This kind of commitment to excellence is what keeps me coming back every week. Thank you, SGE!
Hubby and I popped in for an evening latte! It was the smoothest I've had in a long time! (But I've been drinking at Starbucks!) this was definitely worth the drive!! Will be our go to for coffee from now on when we are in Longview!!

I really love this place. And thankfully my wife does too. The staff is great and willing to share brewing tips. After all you have to drink some coffee at home. Their grub is excellent at well.

There are few coffee shops in East Texas that have sippable espresso and baristas who know how to dial in the flavors well. Silver Grizzly is one of them. Specialty coffee lover approved.
I have been here several times. But this visit was to celebrate my daughters gender reveal with close family and friends. Staff was amazing!!
My daughter and I stopped in for a blended mocha frappe. They don't do blended drinks, but we did have lattes. They were very good. My daughter had been here before with friends. This was my first time. The atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent. I will be coming back.
This is one of my favorite places to hangout or do homework at. Their coffee is fantastic!

This was a great find in downtown Longview. A modern espresso bar that also serves craft beer. We order a good mix of drinks to try things out. The latte was good, nice flavor and good foam. The chia tea was good as well, they make their chia in house. We also picked up a hot chocolate. All their syrups are homemade so if you like your drinks sweet I’m sure that will taste fantastic. The service was nice and friendly. The atmosphere was hopping. Lots of people enjoying a warm drink on a cold day.
This is one of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to. I had the Butter Beer Cappuccino. The atmosphere is light and this is the perfect place to come study because this place has GIANT tables or just hang out at the bar.

Really cute little place. I love the atmosphere especially after they decorated for Christmas. The customer service is typically really good, quick and polite. I found it easier to order online when I first came here because there is no menu hanging up or anywhere noticeable at first. When you finally get up to the counter you will see the menu on the counter that you can pick up and look at. But if you’re like me and need more time to think and make a decision it’s easier to take the menu and go sit down or just order it online. I love the convenience of being able to order online as well as it can get very busy! I have went several different times of day and in the week and have never been able to get a booth seat, those seem to go fast! But outdoor seating or the larger tables are usually available or are freed up much faster. I really appreciate that there is alternative dairy options as well as sugar free options (great news for keto and paleo people!) they have truvia in easy access on the counter when you pick your drink as well. One thing that bothers me is if you order online to drink in dining they will still give you a paper cup. I have tried this four times and have gotten a paper cup for dine in. I much prefer an actual mug, it’s so much cozier and they do such a fantastic job with the designs. But in order to get that you have to order your drink in person it seems.
It has a family friendly atmosphere which makes taking my kids or larger groups here enjoyable. There is alcoholic drinks on the menu but it is still a very family
Friendly crowd. It is a little more expensive than most other coffee shops and you won’t find many specialty drinks (alcohol free) but the espresso is incredible and I find it worth the price to go here (just not as often as I’d like out of courtesy to my budget ;) I do recommend this place and have enjoyed taking my out of town friends and family here.
Best coffee in Texas so far. Excellent coffee, well crafted house syrups, comfortable atmosphere and friendly service. This is my first visit but will certainly not be my last.
Great atmosphere. Decent coffee selection. One of the employees was a bit off putting. But doesn't ruin the whole experience. Good place to get some work done or hang out.

I refer to the Griz as 'my office' Im there every week, usually several times.
The ambiance is perfect for study and writing. Just loud enough that you dont feel uncomfortable, and quiet enough to be relaxing. The teas and coffees are fantastic. Also, as much as I hate fad lifestyles and diets, their vegan pastries are excellent.
This place is super modern, loved it! They make their own syrups in house, and they are so good! The customer service is excellent! Atmosphere is great; perfect place to go study or meet up with friends. Highly recommend!! Yuletide latte is delicious!
I love this shop’s layout, location, service, and vibe. They serve coffee from Onyx Coffee Lab and Porch Culture Coffee Roasters. They pull a mean espresso, brew a tasty filter coffee, and throw down a great latte art event. Plus they have some local beers on tap! Keep up the excellent coffee scene here in East Texas!
