after years of driving by and having it saved on my google maps list we finally decided to stop by and get some tacos. we came to eat here for a late breakfast / early lunch and wanted to try a few different types of tacos and luckily they had a lot to choose from. i went with chicken, steak and fish and the stand out to me was the fish! obviously, each one was delicious but that one was my favorite for the unique taste it had. i also really enjoyed the steak one taste and toppings as well. we were lucky to have visited while there weren't too many people and we could relax for a little in their outside patio seating area. i will also note that the tortillas were fresh, hand made and tasted so good too.

By far my favorite taco place in LA!! Also, the salsas are so good and actually a spice level I like! Oh, eating all the tacos and tamales at Guisados is an absolute treat! Their tacos are packed with flavorful fillings and their tamales are so tasty and authentic. It's a must-visit spot if you're in LA and craving some delicious Mexican food. Don't miss out!

Some of the best tacos in LA! Everything here is just 10/10: the food, the service, the vibes, and even the pricing. More than fair and insanely good tacos. Every variety was so different in flavor and so jam-packed with flavor! The chicken and steak taco in particular were mouthwatering… got me already craving to come back! Definitely check this spot out for some amazing tacos! Few different locations throughout LA - don’t miss out!

Tasty food! Tacos were wonderful, wasn't too big of a fan of the tostado. Price per portion is great. Horchatas were delicious! People behind the counter were so courteous and patient in answering our questions as this was our first time here. Nice dining and patio setup. Very charming! I could see parking maybe an issue if its busy. The neighbourhood seems friendly. We walked the area and everyone in front of their homes said hello. If you are in the area i highly recommend them.

If you know what your coming for then it’s great! Order at the bar, pay up and take a seat at the back. First time, get the sampler and try 6 different mini tacos for a very cost effective price! Great flavours, lots of variety a nice outdoor seating with parking on site.

high quality tacos but on the pricier side ($4ea). the meats were all flavorful but thought they lacked some texture; wish there was some crunch. fav was the cochinita pibil. overall, would come back but not something i’d crave. tinga: juicy and flavorful chicken but needed some crunch to offset pescado: the fish was perfectly cooked and flaky but the white sauce made the overall taco lack depth. cochinita pibil: enjoyed the meat flavor the most. level 8 spice was too hot.

This is an excellent location off sunset with a nice little parking lot. Great patio environment and atmosphere and amazing tacos. I recommend the sampler if you're unsure what to try. Wash it down with one of their delicious beers. They have a good selection. What I really like about this place is that their tortillas taste very authentic

4.5/5. I enjoyed my food, but I did find that the tacos were a little pricy. The tacos I got: - Bistek en salsa roja: Pretty tasty, second favorite taco - Pescado: Favorite taco. I loved the crema - Camarones: Just okay. Lots of shrimp, but not as tasty as the other two - Hongos con cilantro: Not bad, but wouldn't order again. I love mushrooms normally so I thought I would love these tacos, but I just thought the taste of the tortilla overpowered any mushroom taste. My friend got the choose your own platter & quesadilla with mole chicken. I tried the mole chicken and thought it wasn't bad, but not my favorite. Line is long to order and parking can be tricky. Food came relatively quickly after ordering. Be sure to ask for all the salsas, I especially liked their most spicy one.

Hand made fresh tortillas for your tacos this is the place to go TBH. Great service if you’re a newbie they take their time to explain the meats. Trendy hip artsy atmosphere. Back patio. Free water but also have agua frescas. Small parking lot but you’re bound to find street parking.

Looking for a delicious salsa bar? It's not here. Full service restaurant? Not here either. Chips while you're waiting? Nope, not here. Here you order tacos at the counter and they bring them when they're ready. There's a wide selection of strange taco concoctions to choose from and most are pretty good. Wish they had some salsas to add to the tacos though.

LOVE it! It's the go-to for me and my dog whenever we drive back into town. Tortillas are perfect. Love the predictability of the flavors, textures, etc. Wouldn't mind if they threw in a few different tacos for those of us who are eating there all the time.

Really good handmade tacos ! We had the taster - each was delicious. Would definitely go back for more . My partner is not a taco fan and he enjoyed these / this means a lot! Good service, on site parking , also parking available on side streets. Outdoor seating available . Good value for LA .

Becoming a City of Angeles staple, Guisado has defined a new class of taco enjoyment. With a creative twist on the standard taco, the new variety uses braised meats and authentic flavors to create some of the best tacos in the city. First-timers should start with their Sampler plate. Tortillas are freshly made in the traditional manner and this is the best way to figure out what flavors will be your favorites. This location was once a former neighborhood favorite Chinese restaurant before the street was named to honor Cesar Chavez. Parking is limited thus patience is required.

Visiting from Philadelphia and these are some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. I got the tinga pollo, shrimp, and pescado tacos. They were all amazing but the fish was the star! Horchata is so delicious that I came back the next morning to get it with the cold brew. Highly recommend!

Excellent food, good prices, with a knowledgeable and accommodating staff. The best ambiance is on the patio in the back. Parking can be tricky, so keep an eye open for street parking.

Best tacos I’ve had…ever…in the world. I’ve traveled around the world for extended periods of time and even spent months in Mexico. Let me just say this - authentic Mexican tacos are more simple and bland than these tacos, but whatever Guisados is making (Tex Mex maybe)…. they are out of sight delicious and unquestionably the best tacos I’ve ever had in either Mexico or the USA. Texas have a few joints that come close, but these take the crown. The Molé is exceptional and the ingredients are high-quality. Staff is also pretty friendly. On the days that the Dodgers play, they actually make blue-colored Horchata…pretty cool. I had lost my faith in Mexican food the last couple of years (usually bad quality, high price, and underwhelming) , and a friend convinced me to come here today. Well, they restored my confidence that good tacos actually exist. Well done, guys. Try the Biatec en salsa Roja and the mole poblano chicken tacos. You won’t be disappointed.

Easily some of the best tacos I've ever had. Can't remember what I ordered but the shrimp and beef tacos are the best of the lot. The slow braised beef had beautiful texture and flavors. Lots of street parking available.

It's almost good except air in this hottest weather, and there is no air conditioner inside.

A great place which is worth the hype to have some authentic Mexican food. Lots of vegetarian options and they can be made vegan too. We tried the most spicy taco “chiles toreados” thinking we could eat it but GOD it was burning so good. We had to remove the chilies and then eat the remaining tack after like 5 glasses of cold water. Definitely worth a try!
