Beautiful restaurant! Loved the ease of the valet parking, the menu had wonderful options and we loved our meal! My friend had the oxtail bone marrow butter pasta, and I had parmesagne ravioli with pistachio pesto. Best of all was our friendly server, Alex! He was prompt, happy to serve us and had lots of fabulous suggestions! I will definitely return and ask to sit in his section again!
Awesome spot !!!! We went for DineLa and the experience was great. The decor is amazing, the food is delicious and the service was perfect. Emily our waitress was the best, very welcoming and nice. After the dinner we switched to the bar, and has couple of cocktails. Great choice of spirits and delicious craft cocktails. Perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a date!
New favorite restaurant. The food was absolutely excellent. Sara was our server and knew the menu inside out. She recommended the best dishes and made our experience so enjoyable. We will be back again!
Decor is super stylish, and service was great! Best of all is the food. Tagliatelle, Jidori eggs and beet risotto were delicious!!
Incredible food and service! The English Milk Punch goes down way too easy, and the kampachi ceviche and oxtail ravioli are to die for!
Our First time dinning in Faith & Flower , starting from the moment we came in the service was superb. Their food is amazing . It was good ..., that we wanted to come back the next day. I highly recommend a visit .
Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing food, and a great environment for conversation and fun! ❤️ The mimosa and waffles
Food, drinks, and service were over the top great! Sommelier was excellent and overall vibe was exciting too! 👍
Tonight was a perfect dining experience. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food. I can’t wait to come back!
Visited this restaurant a couple of years back. Loving the warm and friendly service. We ordered a couple of dishes for lunch. All was tantalizingly delicious and had some Asian influence on it. Love the pasta with tendon and bone marrow with such dark and sticky glaze underneath. The veggie was fresh and savory. The chicken was tender and warming. The chocolate mousse dessert at the end was rich served as a sweet finish to an enjoyable lunch.
Great ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating. On a good night, the patio makes for good dinner/ people watching. Inside is lively and beautiful.. Menus come in old books which is really cool and makes for good conversations. They do have a pretty good wine selection and an awesome sommelier who does not fail to surprise his audience.
If I were to go by the food only and not the ambiance or service this place would've gotten 3 stars... But the place is just beautiful and the service is beyond amazing.. The food?Considering that we ordered every item on the menu, nothing wowed us.. It was not great nor bad.. just mediocre
Omg came here with co-workers after a long meeting and it was definitely worth it. Staff was very helpful and advised us to order different plates to share so that we could get a taste of everything. And it was the best idea. My favorite were the braised short ribs and the crab toast as appetizer.
Loved the rustic interiors. Went for Happy hour - and the $1 oysters was such a great deal. The jidori deviled eggs was so good too, everything in the menu was worth the try. Will come back to try brunch next time.
Wonderful atmosphere, great service, stellar dining experience. We were initially seated under one of the large speakers at a small 2 top in the front of the main dining room and requested another table as we had to shout to hear each other. If you dislike loud music, be aware of this. After a short 10 minutes wait at the incredible bar, we were re-seated in a cozy booth with ample room for a two hour experience which was sublime. Our Server was very knowledgeable, the sommelier very helpful and recommended a delicious Barbera wine was very reasonably priced at $50. The overall ambiance was swanky, romantic and lively. They serve their dishes family style and recommend 4-5 share dishes for 2. We ordered the oysters, carrot salad, pork chop, Brussels sprouts, and broccoli , Everything we entertained on the menu was exceptional. Over $200 for two (with a bottle of wine) so bring your wallet. Well worth the experience and we will definitely return on our next excursion to LA.
Good service. Atmosphere was unique and restaurant clean. Food selection seemed a bit lacking but the dishes were all very good. We had the scallop device, Ribeye, and deviled eggs. My favorite was the Ribeye (I love me a good steak). Prices were a bit high though...typical LA though.
Faith and Flower was a good eating spot. I shared various items from the lunch menu. I had the, burger, which was good. Some of their portions are a little small, but overall the prices were appropriate. Their menu had a wide variety of different types of food. I will definitely come back to try out different dishes. During lunch time, it also became very crowded.
Only had an opportunity to come here for quick appetizers and drinks, but had a great impression. Service was solid, as was the food and the design of the space and layout was very hip and modern with tall ceilings and lots of open space. Oysters were great and the jidori deviled eggs are not to be missed!
Went here for a conference dinner, so I have no clue about the prices. It is a fancy restaurant, so I am sure the prices are high. But the food!!! It was the best food I have had in LA in my 1.5 years here. The starters from tempura fried beans and cold smoked Tuna, to main course dishes like wild Pacific northwest mushroom pizza and wood oven roasted Brussels sprouts. And they have this cool mocktails where you tell them the flavor you want in your mocktail (like sweet and spicy) and they will custom prepare a drink for you. Lastly, check out the tattoo on the arm of one of the servers, Anil.
My first time at Faith & Flower was most definitely a good experience. Great service and customer service and their food was just amazing. The menu is very simple and isnt overly complicated and each of our dish was delicious.
Great ambience, excellent service and good food. Some dishes tend to be a bit too salty. There's room for improvement on the menu. Service is outstanding. Every time I've been there it was been equally great. The Oxtail Agnolotti ($18) is a small dish. The deviled eggs were excellent. The chocolate mousse was too sweet, great dessert but could use less sugar.
Delicious food, but the service was pretty bad. It was so difficult to flag down our waitress. If I could leave zero tip, I would. But the food was too delicious!
The DTLA restaurant it amazing and at the heart of a design period I am very fond of, Art Deco. I have only brunched here, but the food was fresh, decadent, and eye catching. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations too. I highly recommend you stop in and enjoy.
Faith & Flower is located in Downtown LA South Park District. As you enter, you will see the bar area on the left side, which has wood cabinets with glass panels displaying an assortment of liquor bottles. In front of you is the dining area. The interior is chic with long flowing chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. They recommend ordering everything at the same time. The portion of the food is small. If you don't know how much to order, it's suggested to get 2-3 dishes per person.
~Drinks~
We arrived just in time to catch Happy Hour before it ended. Under cocktails, we ordered Lemon & Thyme ( citrus vodka, St. Germain, lemon, thyme) and Gold Rush (bourbon, lemon, honey). During dinner, we also tried the Garden Cup (Pimm's No. 1, lemon, basil, served on the rocks). I liked the Lemon & Thyme the most.
~Food~
First up was the Longanisa Sausage which is grilled over mesquite, vinegar, and blood sauce. Don't hesitate to order this because of the blood, I couldn't even taste it. The Dungeness Crab Toast came next. It has avocado, green aioli, jicama and it's a little spicy. The Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin was accompanied with pistachios, raisin salsa, and grapes. It was juicy and flavorful. The following dishes are the ones I loved! Oxtail Agnolotti was so delicious. It's served with Asian pear salsa, beef tendon chicharrones, and bone marrow butter. Each pasta was filled with savory tender oxtail flavor and it went well with the crisp of the chicharrones. After that, the Handmade Egg Spaghetti was ready. This entrée consists of roasted mushrooms, Parmigiano broth, and baby kale. The last dish that I didn't like so much is the Deviled Jidori Eggs. It came with four pieces and the egg was filled with Korean chili and kimchee; I wasn't a fan of the flavor.
~Dessert~
Shaped like a flat-bottomed teardrop, the Hazelnut Chocolate Feuilletine had a mixture of flavors, chocolatey, sweet, and salty. It has chocolate cremeux, toasted meringue, and caramel. The Mignardises was nicely presented on a long narrow wood board displaying chocolates, passion fruit marshmallow, honeycomb candy, petite Madeline, almond biscotti, macaroon, and chocolate truffle.
~Customer Service~
-Our server and the Hostess was so polite. Before walking us to our table, she kindly asked for my cocktail and placed it on a silver tray. When I sat down, she put my drink on the table; how sweet!
~Tips~
-Call for reservation (everyone must be present to be seated)
~Notes~
-Patio seating
-Street, garage, and lot parking
We came here to celebrate my brother's huge milestone. The food was delicious and the steak was honestly "spot on". Peter was our server and he had great suggestions and knew exactly what he was talking about. The menu is tucked into old books which adds to the whole aesthetic / ambiance overall. The milk punch is amazing (3 days to make). Overall I recommend this restaurant!!!
Faith and Flower is so easy to fall in love with. Rich woods, beautifully chosen fabrics and perfectly picked leather. The vintage touches and the whimsical menu pulls everything together.
I really wished that I taken more pictures of the decor. I was too happy in my adorable banquette next to the window.
The mushroom risotto was divine. Every favor was visible. This was a truly lovely dish.
The chocolate mousse pulled you in at first sight. The mousse was as decadent and the crepe fraiche the covered the macerated strawberries was light.
I can’t wait to come back!
