Love this place. We came late Sunday afternoon for a cold beer and ended up ordering the buffalo cauliflower and non vegan potato pizza with bacon. The server had great energy and was very helpful. She suggested two great beers for my father and brother, and I ordered the el teca cocktail with hanger one instead of tequila. The new manager stopped by to check on us, and shared a little history of the building. Great space and cool vibe. Look forward to coming back.
Such a fun place! So great to have a cheat night and eat vegan pizza and nachos and have a fun cocktail by the fireplace. What a wonderful, friendly and laid back vibe.
I plan on making it my new hangout spot
This place surprised me and I didn’t even realized what it was until a friend told me. I used to go to the movies here as a kid, but now it’s a totally different atmosphere. This restaurant looks amazing once you are inside. They sat us down next to the fire pit and it was very romantic. The food was amazing as well. I had the Mohawk......Jesus Christ it was amazing with a side of sweet potato fries. Fucking truly delicious. I took as non vegan friend and he couldn’t believe how good the food was. I recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal. Pricey, but very well worth it !!!
I have to admit I was a great deal surprised when I walked in. From the outside it doesn't look like much of anything, but when you walk in I thought I was in a joint in Santa Barbara or something. The city disappeared behind those doors and the people that work there all with a smile are sweet, helpful, and give you a profound sense of welcome as a friend or family. I have never seen so many micro beers in one place, and they yeast so damn good. A beer connoisseurs dream manifesting before his eyes. And of coarse the mixologist coming forth with his memorable ever so delectable creations. And always with a fragrance of an Italian kitchen, with pizza been served hot and bubbly. A great fine which I will definitely frequent as often as I can. Bon appétit
Sick place. Beer is great, food was phenomenal (I recommend the mohawk burger), perfect for my vegan girlfriend and carnivore me. Service was impeccable and the whole experience was terrific. Go here!
Excellent experience,,great quality Food and service!👍🏼Highly recommend, the sausage and shallots pizza !!fabulous!!!
Perfect place for vegans and non-vegans (NV) to gather! Shared our Vegan Garlic Wild Mushroom Pizza and came close to converting some NVs to our side. The BIG Bloody was a table favorite too. End result was a successful birthday brunch.
Great vegan food. I loved it. The vegan pizza was fantastic. The warm quinoa salad with sesame tofu was delicious. One of my new favorite restaurants. Now can you please bring it to the west side?
We were seated immediately in a brick atrium style room with a crackling fireplace. Paul brought us menus and water right away and returned for our order within minutes. The food arrived quickly and was delicious for all out guests. We will definitely return again.
Loved the venue and the decor, especially the back room where we were seated. The food was absolutely delicious and the waiter was entertaining, personable, attentive and professional. We will be back. The only down side was finding parking. But we managed.
fantastic bartender, spicy margaritas (just order the double), great artichoke tacos and they have okra!!!!1
Killer pizza and the buffalo cauliflower was out of this world. Our really friendly waiter suggested great beers too!
Amazing!!!! I brought two former students to celebrate their high school graduation. Out of curiosity, I asked the hostess if they did anything for special occasions... jokingly, I said,”like putting a candle in some bread”... I shared the occasion and she said,”let me find out.”
When it came time to receive the bill (service and food was EXCELLENT!), our waiter said the manager comped our drinks. Such a great surprise. This is why I will tell my friends about this great place.
I give this experience, TEN STARS! Thanks Mohawk Bend!

Delish! Beautiful decor and great ambience.
The cauliflower spicy wings were out of this world!
Such a cool place to hang out, great drinks and atmosphere!

My first time there. Loved the space. Our party split the vegan pepperoni pizza and vegan Caesar salad. Both were delicious! The salad was so fresh, and the thin kale chips added a tasty crunch. The cider was cold and tasty. Perfect for the balmy weather. I look forward to returning next time I'm in Los Angeles! 🌱😊👍
PB&J pizza. Try it, it's a game changer. The beer list is fantastic as well

Service CEO was great and their beer was amazing!😜😜😜🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great place to go with meat-eating friends. I love the vegan options too!
Pliny on draft. Not much else to say! Didn't eat any food
My favorite pizza lives here. Ugh, I am willing to drive even more than an hour through la traffic for the food, specifically to get the potato pizza and the buffalo cauliflower 😋
The ambiance is so chill, the servers are welcoming, prompt, and knowledgeable about the menu.
They have a lot of vegan or vegetarian options, and vegan is a plus because I can't have dairy.
The drinks are flavorful and refreshing. They even have non-alcoholic options.
They have the coolest old-school photobooth, and you can even rent a room for a private party.
Also dog friendly, so that's a super plus for me too.
Nice local gastropub. It's on Sunset Blvd, which can make parking a challenge.
It's a nice casual gastropub w outdoor sitting. They are fur baby friendly, which is a definite plus. The menu has vegan and non vegan options. I ordered the following items:
-Angry Vegan Pizza: Really like the thin crunchy crust. It's not as spicy as I thought it would be. Then again, I was told my threshold for spice is crazy high.
-Pickled veggies: Refreshing on a hot day. Nicely pickled
-Coconut shrimp: It was meh...nothing memorable. Had better.
-Cesear Salad w veggie chicken: It was pretty decent, but nothing I would come back for again.
Great Ambience. I recommend baked potato pizza, crab cake and buffalo cauliflower. Angry vegan pizza was extremely spicy- if your crazed up and want to go extreme ! You can try Angry vegan Pizza. I guess you can alter the spice I dint ask the waiter neither the waiter advised. I dint know if i could alter the spice level but yeah! Damn crazy spicy it was. Nickel bag of churro was piping hot . Will try vegan chocolate pudding next time. Great place to hang out with friends and family.
This is my favorite place in town for Buffalo Cauliflower wings- it’s the vegan blue cheese dressing that got me! They’re not too spicy either.
Their happy hour menu includes lots of vegan options, including an impossible burger which is delicious. The chili cheese fries is a huge portion- good for sharing.
Fun space, good outdoor seating options. Have a good brunch and dinner menu. Pretty incredible beer list as well. Some fun cocktails. Food is all good, not necessarily outstanding. Have a lot of vegan options as well and the menu is all well marked.
This is a great restaurant to go to if you're going out with a vegan person. There is plenty of vegan and non vegan options. Something for everyone! The vibe is cozy. It's got an industrial, rustic, upscale atmosphere. My favorite items on the menu are the Mohawk burger and the pizzas. I've tried a few of the pizza flavors and none of them disappoint.👌🏽Great service too. I had ordered the crab cakes the last time I went. It doesn't say so on the menu, but the crab cakes are very spicy. But the waitress was very understanding and took back the crab cakes without charging me.
Amazing food and the atmosphere was great. Lightly dimmed. Again was not perfect but when they made a mistake they took very good care to fix it right away. My favorite is their pizza.
Oh wow! What a beautiful discovery!! My wife is vegan and I'm not (at all!). It's always a challenge to find a restaurant where we both have options and usually, she's the one that ends up with the only option she can have in the menu. Not here !!! The menu is actually vegan first... meaning if there is not letters beside an item, it's vegan! You can also ask for non-vegan options of a few meals.. it's the "usual world" upside down for vegan / non-vegan couples. I can't recommend it more.
PS. If you're lucky, you'll be hosted by waiters Valerie or Kaleb who'll make spot-on suggestions from their menu according to your taste.
PSS. Don't leave without a bag of their home-made churros. It'd be a shame.
Beers and babies? And great service? Yes! They offered a great selection of beer and have offered Pliny the Younger the past few years! It's also family friendly - they even have coloring sheets with crayons. The food is decent and I would stick with the starters and brunch items. But the kids like the cheese pizza. There is something for everyone!
fab vegan food! great ambience, I really loved how big and spacious it is in the back. like a hidden gem. great place to go to grab a bunch of things and share with others at your table.
Had the pleasure of finally trying this place out. The food here is spectacular and has an amazing modern flair. Brunch menu was great and had a lot of options. The eggs benedict are easily the best I've had in southern California. My friend tried the chicken sandwich and was very pleased with her meal as well. The staff was super helpful and gave us a good breakdown of offerings. The interior is very unique and almost worth going just for the setting.
Amazing drinks and delicious food served here. They have vegan and gluten free options too. The service is great, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The general manager Kelly is so personable and accommodating. If you are in the area stop by here. I highly recommend them.
Great place for vegan friendly food and drinks. All menu items are clearly labeled. Vegan hash and Buffalo cauliflower were really good for brunch. Parking is always a challenge in the area.
Trying Amazing place great atmosphere the exposed brick makes the place look awesome. The food was delicious and filling great vegan food pared along with non-vegan food everything was just scrumptious and seasoned beautiful. The service was ahead of everything we needed, having our food on the table giving us our drinks fast and in the hand for consumption.
Vegan-vegetarian friendly hangout spot with large indoor space. Came here on a Friday night for a friend’s birthday party and we had a table in the back (about 14 of us). There was a fireplace where people were taking pics in front of and I liked the high ceilings and eclectic artwork - it felt like we were in a converted Brooklyn warehouse. Valet parking available but I did find street parking about a 10 minute walk away (it’s difficult to find parking on Sunset) which was free since it was after 6. We got the artichoke “crab cake” ($15) which was my favorite dish. It was really soft and well seasoned and came in three. The buffalo cauliflower had a nice crisp ones around it and good amount of buffalo sauce. I got the boujee pep pizza ($17) for my entree but only ate two slices because it was pretty full from the apps alone. The pizza is vegan and has vegan soppresata which was really thin and crispy and looked like big brown pepperonis. Thin crust and made for good leftovers (I suggest heating it up one slice at a time for 30 seconds so it doesn’t get too hard). The server was nice although he did overcharge us on one of the cards for the bill, which he did correct after we asked him. They did kindly split the bill for us and do take card. Bathrooms are available on the second floor but I didn’t see an elevator to get up there. We spent two and a half hours there and they do have a late night menu with some food deals as well as a regular happy hour. Overall it’s a good spot to have a large group and can accommodate vegan dietary restrictions.
Happy that they have reopened as wonderful place for vegans and non-vegans and fantastic beer selection. Lot of Mountain Figueroa beer with the acquisition. Wishing that they had ice cream on the weekend brunch menu for something sweet after spicy chilaquiles.
I don't know if everyone who goes to Mohawk Bend is vegan, but I love that it's always busy here. The future is vegan and the vegan grub at MB is absolutely delicious! They also have an excellent selection of brews on tap as well as great hard liquor. The staff has always been super friendly and welcoming on every occasion I've been. Love, love, love their vegan pizza.
Definitely part of our Top 5 Places to Lunch in LA. The menu is diverse for both Vegans and Meat-ers, but we cone for the Veg side of the equation. Pictured are the Biscuits n Gravy, with a Tofu Scramble floater. And the Vegan Breakfast Burrito with veggie sausage. AND, we normally walk away with Vegan Pepperoni Pizza to take home for dinner - Bonus!
