First timer! I was in the area and googled a breakfast spot and this place came up. The reviews and pictures of the food sold me. The hostess were super nice. I sat at the bar, and I noticed the cook flipping the omelettes. they looked fluffy, not over greasy. I spoke to the person next to me bc her plate looked amazing and she was truly enjoying her food. She was more than willing to tell me ‘it’s combo #1, and it’s delicious. She orders it every time she comes.’ I ordered the breakfast combo and was it was as delicious as it looked. The pancakes or fluffy tasty and not overly sweet.. eggs, potatoes and the Portuguese sausage was to die for. I also have to say their coffee was pretty darn good. Before I left, another regular came in and we chatted it up. His order of French toast looked amazing. I had to take a picture. I’ll be back!

The Food was good and fleshly made! The Service was GREAT! FAST AND ATTENTIVE!!! Atmosphere was Great!!! Only thing is that it's a small place and very little parking for it being a very busy spot! All in All! 10/10!

I love Jacks n’ Joe, it had been a while since the last time I came but the food is still as good as the last time I was here. Which would be about 4 years ago. One of the best breakfast spots in LA. I highly recommend their bacon. Its nice and crispy but chewy at the same time. Their pancakes are so good and it’s a must try when visiting. I love their bacon pancakes. The parking does suck and the wait times can get long especially if you don’t come early. But no matter what I still will come because their food is that good and trumps the issues that I have with the location. A must try!!!

My boyfriend brought me for breakfast and we loved it! We both had the combo #1 with specialty pancakes and it was perfect! I ordered the Ruby Belle pancakes and he got the Pudgy Elvis ones, both were delicious!! We both agree that we’ll be coming back!

Okay first of all, this is one of the best places you could work for part time but now let's get onto the food and menu...BEST PANCAKES YOU WILL EVER HAVE IN YOUR LIFEEEEEEE!!!! I have brought all my family and friends to this spot and I always get positive feedback ☺️ You will not be disappointed but just keep in mind that they are busy due to their hours of operation. The service is however is a hit or miss because sometimes you will get great service but there have been a couple of times where I don't get the best service. Parking is a mission since they have the front lot and a few spots in the back they do get really full so you would have to find street parking. The owners of this joint are cool people and a pleasure to have worked for!

Great service sitting at the counter. It was at times a bit chaotic and loud, but the breakfast made up inconveniences.

The food is good. It's a nice place to have breakfast. The staff is kind, and the food comes out at a fast pace. We got the Dakine Combo and the Aloha Boy, both were fine. Heads up, parking is a tight squeeze.

This restaurant was amazing. It was small and the diners were nearly right next to you so that it felt like bench seating. It was very tight, snug and fun. The food was beautiful and I have no complaints. The service was very good and the coffee was always full

Jacks N Joe is a good place of you're in the mood for breakfast fair, or, have a hangover. First time here so we had a variety of dishes for brunch. I had the Maui Wowie Omelette which was alright. The egg was cooked separately and all the ingredients where placed in the folded egg. If I'm having an omelette, I'm expecting the ingredients to get integrated into the egg. The potatoes were fine, not to much to them either other then the flavor of the ingredients. We also shared the Jack's Banana flapjacks which were awesome! The batter was really tasty and the pancakes were really fluffy. It was a little on the sweet side but I really liked them. We also tried the Combo 3, which came with potatoes, 2 eggs, bacon, and toast. Everything tasted fine, nothing of note. Overall, the pancakes saved the day here. They were so good that I'd consider coming back just for that. Everything else was just fine. Also, the parking is non-existent. A very small lot so try to find street parking somewhere and get ready to walk.

Such a great place for breakfast food. If you crave a sweet atmosphere and delicious pancakes, well this is the place to go. The wait is a bit long on certain days, but that's because it's so popular. The servers are nice and welcoming, the staff is all around top notch. The have music playing and on some days you can get take out. I enjoyed my food and the place just makes you feel comfortable.

First time here but won't be my last! I had the Dakine Combo and the French toast was perfect. The Portuguese sausage is a bit spicy but very tasty. My gf had the veggie omelet and she said it was "good" but the potatoes and pancake was "delicious". I really liked the potatoes... something about the seasoning. I definitely recommend this place and I'm definitely going back.

Food here is very good! Almost worth the hour wait, almost. There is terrible parking at this location, so prepare yourself to park on the street. I ordered the French toast with a side of eggs and sausage and it was delicious. I tried my husband's crazy looking pancakes and they were alright. The best item was the pancakes that my friend ordered. They were fluffy, buttery, and oh so good! They just melted in my mouth. I must say, this place certainly does make great pancakes.

Everything about Jacks N Joe is A1. The food is always amazing which is why it’s a must do everytime I’m in California. Two years in a row my brother and I had the pleasure of dealing with a sever who goes by Bunny. She is sweet, her energy is great and she is always attentive to all people she is waiting on. Always recommended and ask for Bunny!
