Absolutely phenomenal tacos. Expensive for sure, but you get what you pay for. Very high quality ingredients and extremely delicious flavors. I couldn’t recommend the tacos I ordered enough. The ahi and the pescado tacos were out of this world. Also some of the best guacamole I’ve eaten in my life. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be coming back

So good I went two nights in a row! Highly recommend the hibiscus margarita and the guacamole. So good! I was there for happy hour the first day and had amazing carnitas tacos, ground beef and potato tacos. The next day was dinner. I had the filet tacos and elote which were super yummy and the people I was with got the sea bass special and chicken enchiladas. All of us left full and happy. Had the same waiter twice and he was fantastic as well. They have individual tables and shared long tables. Next time I'm in the area I will go back!

Stopped for dinner after a movie! Got seated immediately. No wait. Great service! Tacos were fantastic with just the right portion size! I wanted more, because of the taste. I didn't get more, because I wasn't hungry anymore. I was tempted tho!!!! Also, the fresh gaucamole was delicious!

Set against the lively backdrop of The Grove's Farmer's Market, Mercado is a Mexican food haven that combines a casual twilight dinner vibe with a refreshing openness. Picture this: large windows flung wide open, allowing the evening breeze to sweep through as you indulge in a feast for the senses. Now, let's talk about the food – first the carnitas. The pulled pork is marinated with a citrusy punch of orange juice. It's served up in a generous portion, accompanied by salsa, avocado, and your choice of warm corn or flour tortillas. It's a flavor explosion. For those with a sweet tooth, the chicken mole enchiladas are a solid choice. Just a heads up, though, the mole sauce here leans a bit on the sweeter side, so it's a must-try for all you mole enthusiasts out there. But the real showstopper? The spicy cucumber margarita – it's nothing short of AMAZING. I mean, it's so good that I had to jot down the ingredients for future reference: cazadores silver tequila, cointreau, cucumber juice, jalapeño mix, agave, lime juice, and that chipotle salt rim – it's a game-changer. Now, let's not forget the little things that count – Mercado's homemade chips. The salsas might not have been our favorites, but the chips were on point, making for an excellent start to the meal. In a nutshell, Mercado is a great choice if you're craving Mexican cuisine. The flavors are bold, the portions are hearty, and that spicy cucumber margarita? It's a slice of cocktail heaven.

I looved this place, Mexican par excellence. It’s right by the grove! The food is so yummy! Walked in with friends, found a table et voila ordered tacos and salads. Highly recommended! The location is amazing too.

Amazing food, amazing flavors for an amazing price. The happy hour menu was lovely with plenty of food and drink options. The following is a MUST (happy hour prices): - elote / corn ($10) - dos gringas ($11) - grilled vegetables ($10) - jicama shrimp tacos ($13) - tacos de pescado ($18) Service really depends on your server… but the food was very flavorful and everything was seasoned well.
