My friends took me here to celebrate my birthday and boy was it delicious. The first thing you should be aware coming here is that it's street parking so just look around. They made reservations ahead of time and for a Friday night, they were busy. When we got seated our waiter came to introduce himself and took our drinks order. For our appetizers we started off with the empanadas, we got 2 orders so we can get all the different type. They also give complimentary bread here as well. Our favorite empanadas was the beef because of the taste, the chicken had a more sweet taste to it. The ham & chesee was okay but I didn't like the spinach one. For our entrée, we all went with the Bife De Chorizo which is their 16oz NY steak. We all got it medium rare and they cooked it perfectly, the seasoning was spot on and it was very tender. I got regular fries for my side and it was crispy. We finish off the night with my ice cream in a cup and they sang happy birthday to me. The service we received was great, our waiter was attentive to us.
Great food. Nice service. Tasty steak, and the vegetable sides are delicious as well! The dessert is great 😌! It's not over sweet. Every ingredient inside it has different sweetness, combining together to create an amazing taste!

We had the most wonderful evening! It was a celebration for my Mom’s Birthday. The owner, Javier, made sure everything was perfect, and it was. The food. The staff. The atmosphere. The best of the best. Many thanks for a memorable night!!

I treated myself to a well-deserved lunch today at a new (to me) restaurant in Toluca Lake called Bodega Malbec.
I ordered linguine with clams with a side of sautéed mushrooms in white wine. The pasta was made fresh, and everything was incredible. For dessert, I had flan and espresso con Leche. 😋
Hidden gem in Toluca Lake. Intimate setting inside and outdoors in the back patio. High quality all natural meats, no artificial ingredients and no added hormones.
Parking: Street parking on Riverside on nearby subdivisions or behind buildings.
Customer service: Average - Friendly but not an experience where their staff goes above and beyond.
Food: Table De Chorizos + Table Mixta with ojo de bife and bife de chorizo
All were amazing minus the blood sausage lol
The new tapas lunch menu is terrific! We started with cured duck breast crustini, and followed with ahi and salmon sashimi with a citrus glaze and the grilled octopus with new potatoes. The rose Prosecco and Malbec paired nicely with the three dishes. There’s indoor seating, as well as a front patio. We’ll definitely be back to try other items on the tapas menu (empanadas are high on my list), and there are plenty of more traditional options such as salads, pastas, and grilled fish/chicken/meats.
Authentic Argentinean flavor! Everything was excellent! We ordered Entrana a la Parrilla, Duo de Empanadas, Flan de Caramelo and one octopus dish, just forgot the name 😊. My Argentinean fiancé is really particular with food flavor because he is a good cook himself... and he was super satisfied! Service was excellent too! Chris was really accomodating and friendly. Amazing dinner!
Great service and good food. There was a birthday party going on that amped up the noise level, but still an enjoyable time.
Superb food and service! I've lived in the surrounding area growing up, but never managed to eat here. My steak tenderloin was amazing and the grilled corn side dish is highly recommended. If you're interested in eating here, don't hesitate to visit! I only have pictures of the desserts: Dulce de leche crepes, citrus and cinnamon infused creme brulee, Argitinian bread pudding.
Wonderful food. Lovely staff. Looking forward to a date night and wine. Gracias 🍷
