Went here with a group of friends after hitting The Ace downtown. It was one of the few places still open at that hour for sit down meal. Considering it was the end of the night. I was very impressed with a thorough service friendly workers. would highly recommend, especially for a nice meal after clubbing. There’s a free parking lot and plenty of street parking if need be. there is a ramp for the entrance and plenty of wheelchair accessible seating. There are also vegetarian and kid friendly options on the menu. Expect to spend about $50 a person.

The soon tofu soup at BCD is among the best I’ve ever tasted. I ordered a combo with spicy raw crab and tripe tofu soup. The crab had a delightful kick and tasted super fresh, and the tofu soup was very flavorful, complemented by tender tripe/intestine pieces. Additionally, the side dishes were outstanding; everything felt fresh, and the fried fish was particularly amazing.

Our regular weekday stop for kimchi tofu stew. It comes out in a stone crock and crack a raw egg into the bubbling broth. If you haven’t had this I’m sad for you and suggest you get it soon for a better life. Fast service and usually not more than 5-15 minutes to grab a table and order. We like the bulgogi, galbi and beef ribs. So many places to choose from in Ktown but BCD is the gateway to all of the great food in this part of LA.

A great place for delicious food, we’ve been to other BCD Tofu House and this one is just as good. The combos are the best and the levels of spice are true to taste, also, the price is very affordable as well as the waiting times very reasonable. Overall, the service was excellent and we never ran out of any sides or beverages. Highly recommended!

I had an absolutely delightful experience at BCD Tofu House! From the moment I stepped inside, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for a memorable meal. The menu offered a fantastic variety of Korean tofu dishes, and I was eager to explore. I started with the Kimchi Pancake, which was crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor on the inside. It was the perfect appetizer to kick off my culinary journey. For the main course, I opted for the Soon Tofu Soup, and it exceeded my expectations. The tofu was incredibly silky, and the broth had just the right amount of spiciness to awaken my taste buds. The attentive and friendly staff made me feel right at home, providing excellent service throughout my meal. The portions were generous, and the presentation of each dish was impeccable. BCD Tofu House is a gem for anyone looking to savor authentic Korean cuisine. Whether you're a tofu aficionado or new to Korean food, this restaurant is a must-visit. I left with a satisfied belly and a smile on my face, eager to return for another flavorful adventure.

The food is always delicious. The service is good most of the time but this specific visit, the service was a little slow. Still an enjoyable atmosphere accompanied by great food.

Delicious food. Had a line out the door to get in, but the line moves pretty fast and they had a table available for us. Highly recommend the galbi, kimchi and tofu soup and mackerel. Everything was absolutely delicious and the bathrooms were clean. Service was fast and smooth and the atmosphere was wonderful.

We got the crispy garlic tofu bites, Korean fried dumplings and the bulgogi soup combo with the assorted soon mild tofu. The crispy tofu was tasty especially with the dipping sauce. The bulgogi was delicious especially with some of the drippings on it, adding just the right amount of moisture. The soon tofu soup even at mild had a small kick to it, and had an interesting flavor. The dumplings are bust described as a deconstructed scallion pancake wrapped in a dumpling. We would order everything but the soon tofu soup again.

This place always has a crowd but it’s well worth the wait. Especially if you love spicy Korean food. I am a fan of the Original Beef tofu soup and you can’t go wrong with some Short Rib on the side.

Marinated crab was delicious! The kimchi soup was also nice and flavorful. Wait time can be a bit long at peak hours, but once seated, the service was fast and accurate. I left a personal item behind on accident and staff was kind enough to hold it for me.

This place is usually busy and fast-moving, always full of families and groups of friends. It's a good late-night spot as it opens quite late. Their specialty is the tofu stew that comes boiling hot in traditional earthenware. They serve a good array of banchan with rice too. Many folks order the combo with galbi, Korean short ribs. I enjoyed the marinated spicy raw crab. Their serving is pretty generous, so I usually take some home, when I order a combo meal. The lighting is bright, and the decor is not the trendiest but it's a place that has its rhythm and energy. There is an army of servers efficiently taking orders, bringing food, and cleaning up in a well-practiced manner. I always find coming here comforting and nourishing, being surrounded by buzzing noises of ppl gathering with their loved ones, and enjoying warm stews together.

Honestly if you aren’t familiar with Korean Soon Tofu, you are missing out in a critical dish for your life! Get the Galbi Combo! Prices have gone up since 2009 but it never disappoints and still competitive for today (2023). If you can’t handle spice, still get the mild at the very least or it will have no flavor! Once the soup comes out put the raw egg into it right away so it cooks! Try all the side dishes with the soup in every bite! You will love it!

I had another fantastic experience at BCD Tofu House! Their Soft Tofu soup is consistently delicious, and the grill short ribs were mouthwateringly tasty. However, this time, the spicy pork wasn't quite as well done as I would have liked. What slightly dampened the experience was the service - the waitress with glasses who took our order didn't seem particularly enthusiastic about her job. While she wasn't rude, her lack of warmth and attentiveness left something to be desired. Nevertheless, the fantastic flavors of their signature dishes make this place a must-visit, earning it a solid 5-star rating in my book!

Fast and efficient service. We enjoyed the galbi combo menu. Bimbimbap was equally delicious but the portion was too big for us. We tried the cold noodle (summer special). It was ok but not exactly to our liking. Perhaps because they use a thicker soup.

I ordered the famous combo including Soon Todu with LA Galbi. For two people, one combo and one tofu would be enough. OMG, galbi was exceptional! Tofu was great too. I even forgot to take a pic because I shoveled down my galbi and tofu. I visited here around 8pm. Never expected a long wait but I waited for 40 minutes. Next time I will have lunch there (The price for lunch combo seems so reasonable!)

Spent an hour to get in on Chuseok, but their food made every minute worth it!🕒 Soon Tofu might not be as rich as the authentic Korean version, but it paired okay with Galbi 👌

Good Korean restaurant. We came here at night and it was still long wait. Got a free big parking lot as well for the restaurant's customers.

Wow. The place was packed on a Sunday morning but got us in quickly. We got the tripe, mixed, and a seafood pancake. Service was quick. The food was piping hot! Everything we ate was amazing. I kept shaking my head saying - oh my God this is so good.
