This place has one of the most extensive menus I’ve seen. The eggs and sausages and chicken n rice were excellent but they specialise in pancakes. The portions are so huge that it’s impossible for one person to polish them off! A MUST DO FOR ALL PANCAKE LOVERS!
If you are looking for a pancake heaven - Cici is the place. Every time I visit LA I make sure I have my last day breakfast at Cici's! The savory breakfast stuff is good but their pancakes - to die for! I ordered a red velvet pancake with mascarpone cheese and chocolate frosting/syrup. My first bite, I died and went to heaven. The pancake was the fluffiest and softest pancake ever made with delicious smooth creamy sweet syrup topped with dallop of cream. As Janice would say 'I gotta buy a vowel for that. OMG'
We also ordered green tea pancake and to my surprise it was delicious. You get a great taste of green tea but not too strong to ruin the sweetness of the topping and pancake.
I would highly recommend this place for their pancakes. Get there early as the place is very busy!
Cheers
This place deserves 10 stars, Great Breakfast.. CiCi's has THE BEST BREAKFAST of any place you will ever go to and any place Ive ever been in all my time searching for the Best Breakfast! Nothing is a wrong choice from the menu.
Best Breakfast. I arrived at Cici's Cafe early morning because I've heard of how this place packs it in. I started off with a nice cup of Joe to wake me up. I read the book like menu to see what to order. Cici's has everything on this menu:Waffles,Omelets,Pancakes,Steaks build your own everything at reasonable prices. So I decided to order The French Toast which was dipped in a Cornflake batter and a build your own Omelet. My ordered arrived at the table and I had to really stare at it because the portions are really huge and I wondered to myself how am I going to eat all of this food (I never waste food folks). My french toast was about an inch thick and was crispy on the outside, nice and soft on the inside with hot sticky syrup poured on top. Then I switched plates and took a bite of my overly stuffed Omelet loaded with all of my favorites:Sausage,Mushrooms,Sour Cream,Provolone Cheese and Onion. I kept going like this for approx. 20 min. until I decided I really need to stop. I had to pack my stuff up and head out. My waitress was very sweet with a beautiful smile and this restaurant is a wonderful place for breakfast there's no denying that. Try it!
After reading reviews I was prepared for poor service. That did not happen. I had excellent friendly service at 8am Wednesday. The food was excellent. Ill come back. It might be my new favorite brkt spot! Ill try it a couple more times to be sure! Waitress Courtney was very friendly and professional.
The 2 reviewers who don't like cicis are clearly angry at the poor service. The place is always packed and yes, sometimes the service is mediocre but to compare the food to Denny's? Really? Cicis uses fresh ingredients and creativity to make for amazing meals. Their pancakes are to die for, even though they are not the best I've ever had. Food is fresh, flavorful and made with love. Go to Denny's if you want cheap corporate food.
There's a good reason people wait to get into CiCi's. If you love breakfast- this place is for you! The regular drip coffee is the best ever- try it you won't regret it.
Wow !! I was a little skeptical about coming here, thought it would be another breakfast place, but damn I was wrong. The food was AMAZING, I had the steak egg Benedict with a lavender latte , And let’s not talk about the pancakes, usually when you leave your pancakes sitting for a while they get hard but these stayed soft and the batter is delicious. My mom and I shared the blueberry cheese cake pancakes. We cannot have enough of them. Too bad I live an hour away, or else I would make this my breakfast place.
What an amazing first visit at Cici's. My friend brought me to this place for breakfast, and it was an amazing experience.
We got the rice meals and pancakes, and it was oh so good. Im glad we came early as this place quickly becomes full.
Will definitely visit this location again.
Hands down the best soufflé I've ever had! There's truly nothing that compares to what they serve here. The softness and sweetness are spot on. In addition to the outstanding soufflé, they offer other items like pancakes, and everything I ordered was excellent. The balance of sweetness was just right—perfect for my taste, as I don't prefer anything overly sweet. If you're a soufflé enthusiast or simply seeking a delightful dessert experience, this place is a must-try.
P.S. the parking spot is limited, so be prepared.
Well I come here as much as I can if I’m in this area, crazy good menu like you are opening a pandora box, “lost”in the menu lol. But just don’t hesitate order anything, it will be delicious. Ofc these 3 are my favorite regulars.
THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE! Easily my favorite breakfast place in all of Los Angeles! You NEED to try Cici’s Cafe if you haven’t yet - it’s a wonderful crossover of American breakfast foods with some Asian elements and more…so good!!! They have the largest menu I have ever seen, with over 80 different types of pancakes, crêpes, waffles and more!! You can visit here many, many times and never get the same thing twice!! From the eggs benedict to the soufflé pancakes to the drink options, everything is wonderful. I love this place so much!!
You have got to try the Siam Benedict or Spicy Pulled Pork Benedict if you’re into an egg dish, their lava omelets, or any of the more unique pancakes or soufflé pancakes. Seriously, I can’t even recommend a specific pancake because so many of them are good. My general rule of thumb - get something you can’t get anywhere else! Why order basic chocolate chip/strawberry pancakes when you can get tiramisu, pina colada, or blueberry cheesecake pancakes? There are tons of super unique and innovative options. If you’re gonna wait at least a little while, might as well get something special to Cici’s!
All in all, you really can’t go wrong here. No other breakfast anywhere in the area comes close to Cici’s Cafe. Make your next brunch stop this restaurant, and it’ll instantly become a new favorite!
Delicious spot for brunch. The berry berry souffle pancakes were amazing 🥞
Also got the iced Mexican chocolate with coffee, very good too
I was so excited to try this place out as it has been on my bookmarked list for a while! I’ve driven by on the weekends and they always have a line out the door so if you plan on coming on the weekend, there will most likely be a wait. I came on a Wednesday around 1 o’clock and I only had to wait about five minutes
Their menu can be a little overwhelming at the beginning, because they have a lot of choices that everything looks so good. They are well known for their pancakes. I love the Forget Me Not Pancakes which comes with strawberries, chocolate chips, and macadamias nuts. I also tried some of the Green Tea Tiramisu pancakes. So many to choose from. Their latte is $8 which I felt was a little expensive so that was the only downside.
Their meals on average from from $15 to $25. There is parking in front and also a lot behind the building.
One of my favorite restaurants! I enjoyed every dish I’ve tried on menu.
I enjoyed their beverages; they present them in an appealing way. The topping wasn't thick whipped cream but rather a light spray foam! I'm hoping they also provide the option with the rich whipped cream.
This place is great. It deserves every star it has. I just started with the regular pancakes. I know there are a lot of fancy pancakes here but I wanted to see how well they did regular pancakes before trying the more decadent options. Those were the two best pancakes I have had in a long time. They just tasted really good. They were huge and I enjoyed each bite: Next time I’ll try something more exciting.
This place is amazing for brunch. The food is delicious. The soufflé pancakes are pillows of heaven. The regular food came out almost immediately. Please note that the soufflé pancake takes 45min - 1hour. I ordered eggs and potatoes to hold me over. Everything was delish. The matcha latte with oat milk is exceptional.
Ive been looking forward to try this spot and its definitely worth it. They served breakfast until 3pm. They also have a Soufflé Pancake, which I loved. Food taste amazing. Its pretty packed when we left. Highly recommended.
Cici’s is a wonderful gift to the Valley. It is definitely in the top 1% of breakfast restaurants in all of Los Angeles. They are probably the best place out here to get pancakes, and the variety is so large that I suggest looking up the menu before going. There is usually a good wait of around 20 minutes...45 on the weekends. They also do really well with Benedicts. I suggest the crab cake Benedict. They also have a cilantro lime tuna salad which is one of the best salads I’ve ever eaten. This is a staple for locals and always a good choice when in town.
This is an amazing place to go to for breakfast or brunch. There are so many types of pancakes, waffles, French toast, etc... that you'll have to go back multiple times to try it all. The wait times are crazy on the weekend but, even my impatient self waited over an hour to be seated. There is no shortage of options and the service has been great both times I have gone. It's worth visiting at least twice.
Tasty brunch and very kind waiters.
I love their Huevos rancheros! Perfectly cooked runny eggs with crunchy tortillas. Best way to start Sunday morning ☀️
Finally, I was able to have breakfast in this place. It was a week day because weekends were always busy. I have to say that it is very expensive for breakfast but the food is very good. I had a white eggs omelet with veggies, and my friend had souffle blueberries pancakes with a side of scramble eggs and bacon, and my dogs got a side of bacon.
