We were just driving past looking for a place to eat when I noticed this little shop but it was packed with a line outside the patio of chairs full of folks. I told my frirnd stop turn around that's where we want to go. Because as you know when you see this type of activity it's usually a very good indication that the food is good. Not only was the food especially good we totally feel in love with Dora H. One of the owners. She was down to earth and very caring. We can't seem to figure why we can't click and be friends on Facebook but I'm sure that will get worked out as wellšŸ™‚. We will definitely go back again, thanks Dora for a wonderful dining experience. Love ya ā™„ļøā¤ļø

I've been enjoying Mama's food since I was in high school in the 70s. Then we had a daughter in '89 who started eating the tamales as soon as she had teeth to chew. The best L A taco stand then. The best L A taco stand now!!! Hopefully, I'll eat at Yuca's til the day I die and maybe even have them cater my funeral too.

Amazing place. Great staff, incredible food. Make sure to ask for veggie beans and tortilla if you're vegetarian and they will accommodate. Get the Crazy Burrito if you're crazy hungry!

I had heard a lot about Yucas from friends, being that I live in Michigan, I'm like "OK". So when I was out in LA for a friends wedding , going to Yucas became a cornerstone of the trip. We went to the Hillhurst location, so when I bit into my carnitas taco, I'm sure my wife could tell you I made a face like it's the best thing in the world that I've ever tasted! Can't wait to come back for more carnitas tacos, and maybe a burger?

1976-2014 We moved to the Los Feliz area...you opened the hut! Happy to say we are still friends & fans. Today I brought 2 of my 3 grandchildren. Their moms are jealous because they are not here for the YUCA fix!!;-)

Weā€™re in town for a few days and after wandering around Griffith Park for a while, we decided to try this James Beard-recognized spot for lunch. Itā€™s a casual little window-serve eatery that was constantly busy while we were there. We ordered a carne asada torta, a carnitas taco, carne asada taco, a chili cheese dog, and then a plain cheeseburger to go because almost everyone that walked up ordered one and we needed to know what that was all about. The torta was great - hot grilled steak served on the softest bread (with ketchup, which I thought was different, lettuce, onion, and tomato). The carnitas tacos were served with a double corn tortilla and from the bite I got, sand and new to have great flavor as well. The chili cheese dog was the only regret because we thought the chili tasted kinda canned, but it did have a big chunks of meat. Now, the burger. Every single person that walked up or called ordered a burger (some even ordered two or more!), in addition to a taco or two. It came out wrapped in wax paper and smelled amazing. It was well seasoned with melty cheese and reminded me of the best backyard burger. It wasnā€™t greasy at all and the buns were warm, too. Weā€™re low key mad we didnā€™t order this first. Or more than one. I donā€™t know what it is about that burger, but Iā€™m gonna think about it for days.

James Beard recognized taco hut thatā€™s known for the cochinita pibil. Came here for lunch after running at Griffith, and three tacos hit the spot. You order and pay first, and then theyā€™ll call your name. Bring cash. Thereā€™s a customer only parking lot in the back of the restaurant. Limited outdoor seating is available. The food came out in less than 10 minutes after we ordered. No alcohol here but thereā€™s a liquor store across the way if needed. They have limited outdoor tables. The carnitas are also super tasty if you want something with less of a sweet flavor. My dad got the burrito with the cochinita pibil and that came with beans inside. They speak both English and Spanish.

Quick service even though there was a line. Cheap prices for everything. I believe there wasn't anything over 11 dollars. Food tasted great though and I can't wait to come back.

A gem of a taco hut with some of the warmest faces youā€™ll ever encounter. Food is consistently fantastic and I love their entire menu. Iā€™ve been eating here for over 10 years!

Best burritos in LA. Nothing fancy here. Make sure you ask for the pickled peppers. Carnitas is my favorite. Made with beans, no cheese or other fixings. Simple.

I never ever leave google reviews but this place is the exception. I moved to the area 5 years ago and it was love at first sight. I cannot even put into words how delicious the food is. I recommend the carne asada tacos, carnita burritos, steak sandwiches, and cheeseburgers. cheeseburgers are a must! The staff is always friendly to the customers even when it seems like they are stressed out from the busy line. these people are great people. if you are in the area I highly recommend you check it out.

Cute lil taco shack in a parking lot. Tasty burrito, I got the carnitas. Couldā€™ve been a lil bigger, but I liked the price and there was ample parking in the lot!

Food was very good. I had the hamburger. I loved that it was not so big, but full of flavor. I also had the bean and cheese burrito. Not a lot of room for eating or may I say too close to other tables. But I had a nice time.

Been coming here for 20 years now and itā€™s still as good as ever. Everyone is lovely. First time trying the double cheeseburger and was not disappointed, but the carne asada and the cochinita pibil are also incredible.

It felt so good to receive the welcome I got. I haven't been here in years since I moved away but La SeƱora made me feel like I was just here yesterday. This is a very small place with more parking than seats but it's perfect since most pick up and go. This place has the most delicious cheese burgers but omg their Yucatan style tacos!! YUMMMY. Yes my picture has a partially eaten taco but once u taste it... u won't blame me. Not only did I but to eat here but I'm also ordering to go! I'll be back sooner than later this time. Geeez I truly forgot what I've been missing.

Went with my colleague to grab my first carne asada burrito to go, up the street from our office on Hillhurst. Although we had to wait quite a bit for our food, the burritos were delicious. It's hours later and no heavy feeling in my stomach. I will definitely go back. Excellent and tasty.

One of my favorite bean and cheese burritos in the city. Good balance, and the beans are still pretty intact so the texture is refreshing compared to something like Al & Bea's (one of my other favorite's). Service here is always amazing. Everyone hustles and they're always nice to anyone who walks up to the window. Their whole menu is solid, and the burger is actually surprisingly delicious.

I have only ever ordered the burgers here so I cannot attest to the rest of their menu. That being said... one of my favorite burgers in LA and I have had a lot. You cant go wrong but the chili cheese burger is especially sloppy and delicious. They are also very nice and well priced here.
