Service: 10/10 floor manager even put down a screen to block the sun for us (qr code ordering. I'd love to see them outside of their covid adaptation)
Atmosphere: 10/10
Great experience. So many items to choose from it was hard to pick. But did not have a bad choice.
"I am pure" salad was marvelous and a table favorite
"I am sharing" was fantastic. I highly recommend asking for tortilla chips and the ones provided were to die for
The creator behind this restaurant is methodical and well appreciated. Upon walking in the restaurant you are greeted with a welcome spirit and see quotes are seen around the walls. Our server had great recommendations. The menus were super cute and each dish had an affirmation as their name, which I loved. We had the I Am Thrilled (pumpkin spiced brioche french toast) which was super tasty and I Am Sharing (the nachos) which were well balanced and full of nutritious goodness. I got the Yo soy fuerte (the crunch wrap with side yams). The yams had too much rosemary for me. My friend had the I Am Glorious (blackened tempeh Cesar wrap) which is his favorite item on the menu. He had a side of fries, which were good. Overall, enjoyed this restaurant.
Just got there waiting for our Air BnB in the complex and had a taste of the delicious ice cream and coffee. Say what you want about the names of the dishes, what you get is great ice cream and coffee in a nice ambience, probably the friendliest service staff I encountered in all of California and all of that at a fair price.
Bright location. Delicious vegan food with receptive staff that helped with choosing the food. Definitely good for the soul, body, and mind. Came back again and found hair in one of the dishes. The staff was really apologetic stating all the kitchen staff wears hair nets and were accommodating.
update: came back again and it seems as though their food portions got smaller. Taste is still good, but for the price, was expecting a bit more food.
This is my go-to when I want something that will make me feel good and don't want to cook at home. It's a little pricier than other local options, but it's honestly super worth to me. All plant-based and fills me up. The I Am Loving is my favorite entre, also... it's so cute... their menu items are written in affirmations... which they will say back to you if you order at the counter.
I have a Café Gratitude back in Kansas City, but it doesn't hold a candle to the one in the Arts District. This café was absolutely outstanding. Atmosphere, service, food, all five stars. We had a nice dinner and conversation here the night we arrived in Los Angeles.
So much food was had as well! We grabbed the Margherita Pizza, the Calamari, and I got the local meal. It was all so far beyond my expectations. I kind of wanted dessert, but I knew I didn't have the room for it in me, anymore.
We loved everything about this wonderful café: healthy plant based nutrient-dense food and drinks (they have house made sprouted almond and coconut milks); cool ambience; possibility to customize your dishes; amazing staff (super professional and mega friendly). Definitely a great place for healthy food lovers!🌱😋
Everything I tried was fantastic! I actually didn’t even realize it was a vegan restaurant when I decided to try it out. I was definitely not disappointed. The outdoor patio was nice and parking is free for the first two hours.
Café Gratitude is a gratifying experience. I had a delicious eggplant Parmesan sandwich after a hot, sunny day walking around the arts district. Parking is a challenge and the food is pricey but ultimately worth it. You’ll have a hard time choosing from the well stocked menu!
