Wonderful experience the server was well versed in wine and the menu. He was very knowledgeable and gave us good recommendations. I had the kale salad and it was divine with so many layers of delicious flavors. Also, had the French onion soup that was tasty and not too salty. We had the ravioli appetizer and it was so creamy, but only three ravioli's so it wasn't heavy. For the main course, I had the salmon medium rare, it was perfect wasn't overcooked or over seasoned. For dessert, I had the chocolate lava cake. The cake came with a homemade ice cream with caramel and salt, strawberries and whipped cream on the side. Drinks were also mixed well. I had two margaritas and they were made perfectly not too strong, but very refreshing. The wine with dessert was recommended by the waiter. It was a good choice and complimented the dessert. The ambiance is very nice and the staff friendly. Definitely, will be back I loved the live music as well.
Always great food, always friendly staff, a timeless view, the best happy hour in LA, and Jazz on Friday nights! Who could ask for anything more?
Love the location, hotel, the staff, the lobby wine hour, and the view!
I wish my hotel room shower door cleared the ceiling light and the vanity drawer cleared the full length mirror but it's in my nature to notice these things...the restaurant and lounge on the 17th floor was fabulous!
Great food, music, atmosphere and what a view. Great
Hace 2 años tuvimos nuestra cena de luna de miel en este lugar, la comida es muy rica y la vista impresionante.. Sin duda volveremos algun dia!

Chic, penthouse restaurant in tower 14th floor I believe... 360-degree view of LA, illuminated bar (gorgeous). Dinner is 5-star, top of the line. Must-do: once in your life. Movie star, celebrity sightings: of course!
Come on Tuesday for the live jazz and sip a beautifully prepared cocktail while you watch the sun set. Perfection.
Beautiful scenery, excellent service and comfy, cozy environment! We will be going back again! Great date night! Food and drinks were 👍👍
Great views and hospitality, will definitely be sure t suggest to friends
Love it!! Great place to meet up and make new friends.
The food at WEST is truly amazing! Everything is prepared fresh and to order. Nothing pre-made or frozen. Chef Laura and her staff can accommodate special dietary needs using the fresh ingredients on hand. My daughter enjoyed a made to order dinner last night and had leftovers at home tonight as did I. The pork schnitzel with spaetzle, red cabbage and beets was outstanding! Thank you for a memorable dining experience. We will be back!
Gorgeous sunset view and fine dining at its best. Never disappointed..
We moved our son into UCLA the day we came for dinner. The atmosphere and service made it such a wonderful close to our chaotic move in day. My husband and I hadn't eaten in 12 hours, so we got the scandalous Fried Chicken special. The portions were large, but so delicious. Our son enjoyed the burger and gobbled it all up. Five stars to Johnson that made our evening so wonderful. My only complaint was from the bar. Our wine glasses were not worth the price. Also, we went to Happy hour the following night and the Pigs in a Blanket came out to about $3/ dog for a super small portion. The Martini was full of ice and very weak. Also, not worth the money. My 5 star rating is for the first night's dinner. Amazing 👏
Hard to beat the amazing view. You get to see the Getty museum, LA, the hills, the view and the sunset are just amazing.
The service is also really good. Staff is attentive.
Food is good, the small plates are great, the pricing is really correct for the view and location.
Since I was staying at the hotel located in the same building, I had a $25 a day credit for the restaurant.
Highly recommended if you are in the area and especially if you are staying at the hotel.
Food: Ordered their ribeye steak that came with asparagus and mashed potatoes, braised beef short rib with garlic mash(was very garlicky which I loved) and brussel sprouts (my favorite part of the entire meal), wagyu meatballs, parmesan truffle fries and chocolate lava cake. In my opinion, I’d skip on the meatballs. It doesn’t stand out and it taste like something you can make at home easily. Everything else wasn’t so bad. I don’t know what they did to their Brussels sprouts but they were so good!! Their chocolate lava cake came with caramel chocolate chip ice cream which complimented the fudge-y cake. As for the steak and fries, you really can’t go wrong with it.
Service: Staff was so nice and informative on what foods were popular. We came on July 4th and they dimmed the lights so we could see the fireworks!
Parking: You can park your car through valet. I believe it was $9 and we paid at the front desk.
Overall, the food wasn’t bad and even though it is a bit pricier, you have to keep in mind that you’re also paying for the food. I’d come back.
Stayed at the Hotel Angelino and ate here twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. It is really nice to be at a restaurant overlooking LA. The service was fantastic. The food was great. I would recommend even if you’re not staying at the hotel.
This restaurant (and hotel) has great customer service. The staff is attentive and they do a great job at keeping the place going. I had dinner once and breakfast twice. The steak dinner was excellent, I added Brussel sprouts and corn on the side and it was great. We also had a chicken plate and it came out juicy. Problem was it took a long time for the food to come out. The breakfast wasn't as great either time. We had chilaquiles, chicken and waffles, blueberry pancakes, and a tomato mix egg plate. Overall I was pretty disappointed with the breakfast, its usually a pretty easy meal to get right. The breakfast wasn't flavorful and after that dinner it definitely falls short. Parking is validated if you eat here. The view is great as you have a panorama view of the City. Drinks were good.
Place is perfect 👌🏻
Good location, good view, perfect food. Been there on 25th of December, which is Christmas, so it was plenty of tables available. Regular days I would recommend made reservation. 10$ valet parking which is super affordable in LA. Clean restrooms, friendly personal. Check pictures attached
Delicious food and beautiful city and ocean views.
Our second visit was even better than the first. 🤗
The restaurant is placed on “rooftop” of Angelo Hotel, with panoramic view over Los Angeles - and trust me - it’s always nice to have table with great view - food just taste better :)
Even without that our dinner was fantastic: tuna and cesar for start, pasta w salmon for my wife and for myself stake - medium rare - one of the best I ever had (omg! and the sauce for the stake was fabulous!). Food was great, good service, nice atmosphere… good job guys!
Beautiful 360 view! I ordered a salmon ceaser salad, it was very good. Did come with a lot of croutons and there were full anchovies scattered around (not a lot). I would come back and try another dish and enjoy the view again.
At the top of the Angeleno Hotel. The view is just great, and the place is classy. If you have never been there, go check it out. The service was very good and friendly and they have some creative drinks. The food menu is also excellent and things were not too expensive. Fun to hang out with friends.
Absolutely delicious. Yes, it's pricey, but it's worth it for a special occasion. We went on a Tuesday night so it was quite, great service, food arrived quickly.
The breakfast was delicious. 😋 I ordered the Chilaquiles one day and the avo smash with eggs the next day. I like how the restaurant is on the 17th floor, gives you a great view while eating.
The hosts, servers, and kitchen staff are wonderful and incredibly accommodating. They have been the kindest & most helpful people at the hotel throughout the duration of my stay. Restaurant view isn’t ideal, but the seating is very comfortable and the service is A1. I appreciate them for their efforts to make my stay enjoyable. ⭐️
I had the small bite Lamb Pops and Brussel Sprouts. They both were delicious! I enjoyed my meal very much. Prior to having dinner I attened the "Paint & Sip" session, which was fun. I had the sparkling Wine and odered the Coconut Crab Cakes. While they were 2 good size. I did not like the coconut mix inside the Crab Cake. It was an odd tast and textuee for me. Overall, I had a great experience here and would dine here again. Id like to say at the hotel as well.
Had complimentary breakfast at West as part of my hotel reservation. Amazing view, especially during sunrise. Generous portions and incredible service. Wish I had time to fit in a Happy Hour visit!
Such a cool vibey restaurant. Food was excellent and the views were stunning.
We have used Ariel Builders Landscape Specialists for many years. We use them each year for our spring cleanup. In addition to that, over the years we have had Ariel come up with a landscape plan for different sections of our property. Over the years, his ideas have greatly enhanced the appearance of our property. Drake is creative, but is very open to what we want to accomplish. He is very willing to use what is existing on our property and improve from there. We value the service that they provide for us!
Patrick was our server. He did a wonderful job and treated us with great service.
I had the protein plate and seasonal fruit plate. Food was expensive but that's what you get with hotel restaurants. Sweet view at night of the LA traffic. On a clear day you can see the ocean.
