We had the umami burger, the reggiano burger, and the deluxe. Umami burger had their special house sauce (similar to thousand island). The bun was a little heavy in butter but overall good. Reggiano's pesto sauce balanced it out well. They were more like sliders but the burgers were savory; more on the saltier side in my opinion. We also tried the meatless wings. These were far better than I expected. Reminds me of a tofu nugget drizzled in buffalo sauce.

This is a great place to chill and get a bite to eat. It's got a nice ambience and the service is generally decent. They've got an interesting menu with quite a few unique dishes. We ordered the Jap Style Wings, Maple Bacon Fries, Truffle and K-BBQ burgers. The burgers were pretty good! They packed some serious flavors and without overpowering the hearty taste from the beef patty. The sides were decent as well, though I found the wings a tad salty. Price wise, it's expensive, so it's not the kind of place we'd eat at often but would visit once in a while. Definitely one of the better restaurants at The Grove.

My brother suggested this burger spot and they didn't disappoint. Loved the truffle fries. All of the sauces were so tasty even the black garlic.

Good sitting. Had to wait for 10-15 mins. The burgers we're good and filling. If you are looking for something spicy order the chicken Diablo and for vegetarians impossible vegan BBQ. We also tried the impossible truffle burger which was good. Are meat burgers can be substituted for veg patty. Please not the vegetarian patty is made of soy, so if you don't like soy hard luck! We had ordered the normal and sweet potato fries which added to the experience. They also serve ranch upon request.

BEST GOURMET BURGERS EVER!!!!!! Very interesting menu. I love the atmosphere and decor. So did my friends. I'm so glad their waiter Darryl invited me to his restaurant. He was so courteous and knowledgeable of the menu and establishment. Definitely going back soon. 😍🍔🍟🍺😍

Their milkshakes are hella bomb. You have to come during happy hour. Their appetizers area out of this world. You won't know what to do with yourself. My friends said that the burgers weren't that impressive. My Umami Burger was delicious, though.

Take a look at these photos and tell me you don’t want to eat this all up right now. I’ve been a huge fan of Umami Burger for years, WAY before I went vegan. So, I was ecstatic to find that Umami Burger offered not one, but FOUR all-vegan burgers patty-to-patty! We decided to order what the manager told us were the two most popular vegan burgers: the Impossible Classic Cheeseburger (sub vegan truffle cheese!) and the Impossible Vegan BBQ Burger. Impossible Classic Cheeseburger: Now, I’ve already had the Impossible burger many times, but there’s just something about the way Umami Burger makes their burgers that goes above and beyond my expectation every time. I loved how the burger patty was crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside - honestly, I consider the impossible burger some kind of vegan sorcery since it tastes so similar to meat. Not to mention, the vegan truffle cheese I substituted in was sooo good. It’s burgers like these that make me so surprised when people say it would be too hard to go vegan! Impossible Vegan BBQ Burger: I thought this burger would be fun to try since it was kind of like a vegan take on a Sloppy Joe, or just a backyard BBQ burger. The Impossible patty was seasoned with a sweet and smoky barbeque sauce, topped with coleslaw and jalapenos. This burger was definitely way more unique than the last one, and it was AMAZING. I loved the smokiness of flavors, and the jalapenos added such a nice kick that kept me wanting more. Overall, Umami Burger offers such a pleasant experience with uniquely crafted burgers you can’t find anywhere else. I was more than satisfied with my visit, and everyone should check it out if you have the chance!

Had an excellent meal here! My server was great at giving a breakdown of the idea and recommendations as this was my first time. The meal was worth what short wait there was with great flavours and plenty of food. And dessert was a cherry on top! Would absolutely go again.

I'm not sure what's going on, but it seems like the company might be shaking things up a bit. The burgers are now smashed burgers instead of using the thick patties they used before (so the medium rare was more like medium/well done). The new recipes are ok, but IMO they are not as good as they were before. I had the black garlic burger and... The taste was good, but I couldn't see anything remotely dark inside... On the good side, the prices have gone down, with the most expensive burger being around $13 (when before they could get up to $16), probably as an adjustment for COVID times, but I do miss the old Umami Burger, with the Sunnyside, the B.U.B., the tuna one... The cheese tots were incredible though.

Food is good, place is nice, and service is good and fast. It's a very good option if you're shopping at The Grove (which is a very nice place) and need to rest and eat. The fries are delicious and tou van have different options of hamburgers. If you want a lighter choice There are also salads ir you can order your hamburgers with lettuce instead of bread.

JUST LOOK AT THAT PERFECTLY COOKED EGG. It's hard to get a perfectly cooked egg (i.e. little to no runny egg white, while the egg yolk remains liquid) at a breakfast place, much less a burger joint.
