We came here on a Tuesday night @ 10pm after a long day of work it was the only place open in my area. I've lived in LA all my life and this was my first time. First of all don't come here on weekends if you don't like crowds of people( it's common sense since the is universal). Tue night lots of room to stretch, I love it . Our serve was funny & helpful, he automatically knew they got my boyfriends order wrong and went to the back and brought the side of fries he wanted from the get go w/o hesitation. The food is a little pricey but the portions are huge! ( totally worth it) and they have great drinks.

Large portions of food and drinks. Good selection of draft beers. Spacious seating inside and out. Friendly staff. The wait time is honestly pretty decent for the location.

Food was amazing, I have been disappointed lately in some steakhouses I've went to, but this one was very good. Good drinks And my ribeye was delicious and cooked to perfection! The drinks are a little pricey, but come in big sizes. The service was amazing. They were pretty busy, but we didn't have to wait very long for a table. We will definitely be back next time we are visiting universal studios.

The food here was amazing. The steak I asked for came out perfect and it melted as soon as I began to chew. The loaded mashed potatoes were amazing as well full of flavor and served in a metal skillet, amazing. The servers there were fast and kept up with the drinks even though it was full. The chef there knew what he was doing, Daniel, he was polite ,humble and kind

I came in for dinner and had a great time. Our server Hilary provided excellent service and always had a smile on her face. The manager Enrique also made sure to take care of my son who has food allergies and made sure to customize his order to accommodate his needs. The prime rib I ordered was pretty good and everyone in my party enjoyed their food as well. If you used the valet, don't forget to ask for validation before you leave.

Bottomless Mimosas and the best service staff we have ever experienced. It was not terribly crowded, but this team of bartenders and staff were the best we have ever had. We have dined all over the world and had some elite culinary experiences, but never had such an attentive and fast team of servers and bartenders. Kudos and thank you for the excellent start to our day!

The staff was very friendly. The food was GREAT while the cost was very reasonable. This was our lunch stop while at Universal Studios. The drinks were great (and the on duty manager brought a couple of kamakzis on the house! Nice !) I would have given the service a perfect score but the bartender seemed completely distracted, spilled one of our Irish Coffees and charged $15 each!!!??!? WTF! I should have said forget it but this was after a day at Universal Studios. Maybe I was a bit beat down by then. Still a great place though. The food is great (generous servings) and the prices (except for those Irish coffees) are great too. We will definitely be back!

Went there for dinner on 5/11 with a big party, and wow! What a wonderful way to end an evening at Universal Studios. The service was spectacular, and the food was amazing. I am a huge fan of ribs and so I ordered the babyback ribs with the dry rub and some BBQ sauce on the side. It was easily the best rack of ribs I've ever had. There is the saying that the meat just falls off the bone, but in this case the bones just fell out of the meat! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and not one of us left the Chop House anything short of satisfied and full.
