The Impossible burger was delicious and I loved all of the options. The rosé was also surprising good. The decor is nothing special but the location makes up for it, it’s near that quintessential Sunset Strip intersection.
This place lived up to my expectations! Great tasting burger with a massive variety on how to craft it, staff were helpful in helping me decide.
The veggie burger and near unlimited customized toppings make this my favorite burger on the planet (and I’m not a vegetarian).
This place is within walking distance of the laugh factory. We decided to eat here before the our comedy show. This was the best burger I have ever had! I love the topping selection and the meat selection. I wish this place was local to me, I would not go to any other burger place if it was closer. The staff are fast and attentive.
Best burger ever hands down. I travel 40 mins to get to this location and it's worth every second of it. I don't believe it gets any better than this. I recommend this place to everyone who loves burgers. The restaurant is nicely decorated and service is also great. There is parking in the back.
Amazing burger with outdoor seating and a friendly staff (based on the one person I had interaction with). If you are the type to become paralyzed by too many options, this is not the place for you since they have a billion possible burger combinations. Great shakes too.
They have vegan options too if that's important for you and your group.
Food was great! Service was great! But the music was way, way too loud to enjoy conversation with our friends. When we asked if the music could be turned down just a little, we were told that "corporate" controlled the volume? Like what the...? Anyway we gulped down our food and rushed out, never to return.
This is the greatest place to create your own hamburger. And not just any hamburger -- you can have a bison burger, turkey, vegetarian, I even once had a fabulous lamb burger! They have a ton of different cheese to put on top, sauces, salad fixings, (you can have a burger or salad). I always do the salad. The vanilla shake is wonderful.
I live about 100 feet from The Counter and I eat there at least 3 times a week. I can go months without having the same meal more than once. Can't beat a build your own sandwich or salad. The staffs is super nice and very pleasant. Always smiling and happy to serve. Birthday cake is off the chain and anything on a pretzel bun will make you smile, well at least it makes me smile!
The Brownie (when served fresh) is the best around. Chocolate chucks, crispy edges, not too cake or fudge like...best warm. Served a la mode, but they forget the ice cream and caramel when I order Pick Up. Last time it seemed stale and wasn't ready hot, I had to ask them to make it right, but that was on Valentine's Day.
They are know for their burgers. I love the Chipotle Turkey Burger that I ask to have with beef. I think I've had the veggie ones as the mini burgers for the Happy hour special, which were good too.
Servers are usually nice. Service is slow, takes awhile to cook to perfection.
WiFi at the Wilshire location.
Ask for their Loyalty card, it provides an extra discount this month. Remember to use it, they won't remind you.
Nice Happy Hour items like the delicious loaded Tater Tots.
Validated parking...ask how long. I usually just order ahead for pick up.
Usually chill vibe, kinda crowded, okay seating...not the most comfortable or special aesthetics.
The primary draw of The Counter is being able to make your own burger. When a burger lover has their fate in their own hands, it just takes a perfectly cooked patty by the chef to chart the course for success. Luckily, The Counter delivers more often than not. The Counter offers thousands of combinations. Over my visits, I have had many different varieties and all have turned out good. I would suggest a staple of the pretzel bun, cheese, pairing that with one of their great sauces, and 1-2 additional toppings. The Counter also has some great fries and onion strings, in addition to some modern and clean decor.
Greeted and seated right away by a friendly hostess.
I ordered the special, old timer burger with sweet potato fries. The burger is fresh and full of favor, I devoured it so fast, it was yummy.
Custom burgers are delicious and The Counter lets you choose how you want to make your burgers. I usually get the 1/3 pound of beef, the swiss, and unlimited choice toppings. The premium toppings come extra. Good for people watching on Sunset Blvd and there's free parking for patrons in the back.
Great selection of delicious burgers with lovely service
Highly recommend their sweet potato fries, and beef patties.
Great beer pairings, and super friendly staff
Impossible burger was insane...little pricey but worth it !
