My fav Thai noodle spot in LA quaint and unassuming. Located in the retail strip between arbys and bronson studios. Very tastey authentic thai/laos style dishes. You can't go wrong adding crispy pork to some of the dishes where that's an option. Thank you for the wonderful food, and friendly/attentive service.
Just awesome food and perfect service! We took Pad Thai with fish and seafood noodle soup with 2 Thai teas. It’s was JUST AWESOME! I’m not sure whether we’ve ever been been at a restaurant with better Thai food. Is was a gorgeous experience. We’re so happy! Thanks a lot! You’re doing a great job 🫶🏻 and see you again!
Family feel to this place from moment you walk in to entire service by friendly people who are patient with you and fresh, tasty, and authentic Thai food! Definitely will be back next time we are in town!
We ordered Pai Thai and Tom Kha Soup delivery. Pai Tai was great However we felt Kha Soup was sour so we called the restaurant and provided our feedback. The business owner was welcoming and patient. She offered a replacement for the Kha soup. We went there to pick up the replaced dish.
It was a cute restaurant hiding behind
a small door. Love the decoration and atmosphere there.
This restaurant was open in 2014 by a traditional family from Thailand. They have a family wall in a corner that showed the history. Warm and cozy. Kindness always goes a long way.
One of the best thai food i had in los angeles. Love the beef noodle soup and the thai curry. I love how you can get this super spicy.
The food was great and the price was good for the value. They have a scale from 1 to 10 for how spicy the meal should be and they are not kidding. A five was already very hot. The only thing that leads me to give just 4 stars was the service. Our waitress did not seem to be in the mood to work. She was very slow and got our order wrong. Just one order out of five, but still...
cute and open space with delicious Thai food, with attentive staff that served us quickly. get the noodles (there are a lot of options) or standard Thai dishes. if I'm ever in the LA area, I'll definitely come back again!

The best Thai food I have eaten soo far in states. The veg and the non veg good they serve is too good. The taste is well balanced with the spice and the texture of food is very proper. The ambience is pleasant and nice to eat. Must try coconut 🥥 palm water before and then at the end coconut dessert ice cream.
What I found here was fresh duck noodle soup. I got extra noodles and it came out to a far larger portion than I expected as well.
The place was busy even on a weekday at lunchtime.
I'd be interested in trying spring rolls next time.
Delicious Thai food that was both fast and friendly. It's a rather small establishment but appears to have a constant influx of customers. The food was fresh and tasty. I especially appreciated the many noodle choices and spice level available on most all of their dishes. Parking can be an issue here. And we were told it's easily an hour long wait to get in during the weekend, so plan accordingly if you want to visit.
One of the best Thai restaurant in Los Angeles we've been to at this point. The dishes are very delicious. Flavours are just right, not exaggeratedly spiced to mimic the authentic flavour of Thai dishes. And most importantly dishes are not oily like in some Thai restaurants where even the fried rice has too much oil. This restaurant made me miss Bangkok.
I don’t often give 5 stars and very rarely I don’t even contemplate about giving 5 stars. This is one of those rare times when it’s not even a question. Their food was mindblowing. I had not had such tasty dishes in a very long time. The spring rolls and pork appetisers were just oozing with taste without being overpowering. The two fried pork dishes we got then just elevated the whole experience to yet another level. The perfect crispiness of that pork is one in a million - trully. To add some cherry on top the atmosphere is really good and our servers wete super nice and helpful. I’ll be back here very soon.
This place is really really good. Food is spicy but really good. I've been to Thailand and the food here is close to what I had in Thailand.
Our server was the sweetest guy, so helpful and so fun. He suggested the pork appetizer and I can’t stop thinking about it. We had the panang curry and drunken noodles with Thai tea to drink. Will be back :)
The best thai food i have ever had, the thai tea was perfect, the red curry was addicting, the service was incredible. If you havent been, treat yourself to this place it is amazing
Great place to go have your taste buds love you.
All the dishes we ordered and shared amongst ourselves were absolutely exquisite.
HIGHLY recommend this place. Next time I'm in LA, a definite place to repeat!!!
If you want guaranteed delicious Thai food, Hoy-ka is the spot. It never disappoints.
I always get their papaya salad: you choose your spicy level but trust me when I say they’re not white people spicy. Proceed with caution. I also usually order their boat noodle soup because you can’t really find this in most Thai restaurant. It’s very unique in its flavor and beef cut offerings (a lot of innards like liver and tripe). If you’re adventurous about food, try it. It’s the best.
The venue itself is a decent size - their high ceiling gives it a very large space feel. Their seating is a mix of 2-4 seater tables to 4-6 seater high chair, high table where your feet dangle (Hoyka means dangling leg).
Parking is always going to be a struggle - their shared lot holds about 8 cars so good luck with that. My recommendation is to do a late dinner around 8pm when it’s less busy.
