The Counter Miracle Mile - Los Angeles - Photo album

The last time we ate at the counter restaurant was over 10 years ago when they had a location in roseville ca. Luckily, we just stumbled on this location during a visit to the la brea tar pits, and it was lunch time. The big part to this restaurant is the build your own burger sheet. Picking all th
With its iconic location on the Miracle Miles next to La Brea Tar Pits, The Counter is already a winner. Add to that incredibly satisfying burgers, with a build your own option, it's the perfect spot to eat before or after visiting the Museum Row, LACMA, etc. Our 15 year old son who is a burger elit
Seriously, have it your way, if what you want is a hamburger. When visiting the LA Brea Tar Pits and you find yourself hungry, this is the place to be. A good selection of wine and beer on tap is served here. There is a large patio area for outdoor seating.
Excellent burgers, some of the best I've ever had. Absolutely recommend!
We stopped by here after visiting LaBrea Tar Pits. We got the peach mint Fresca; it was so delicious and refreshing. We also got one of their special alcoholic beverages made with passion fruit. It was dangerously good! Follow us on Instagram: @daheartsda
After seeing the Mammoths at The La Brea Tar Pits, I had a primal need for a burger. I am not shy about tucking into a well-crafted burger. Customizable down to a possible flight of sauces, this burger is well up on my favorite burgers list! From the flavorful beef patty, cooked the way I liked it,
An unexpected drop in to the Counter and what a delight it was. I had the veggie options with an impossible burger, while wifey had some amazing chicken wings. Service was absolutely fab. 💯
So good! I went twice now an the variety is great 😊. This last time I got the burrata burger 👌 I was intrigued not sure if it would be good but it definitely was ! Balsamic glaze topper was a perfect touch. It’s definitely hard to decide cause there’s so many good options, so u definitely will end u
We really liked it :) Friendly service and good food! Glad we stopped by instead of hunting down another place further from the museum. Our family spent a few hours down by the tar pits and capped it off here. Creative burgers sandwiches and salads - also lots of vegetarian and other diet restrictiv
I would like to apologize for leaving such a terrible review. Thank for you settling it and giving us a free appetizer. I know serving a whole class was a hassle for you guys and I really appreciate the service. Although next time please just be more careful before serving food because not all peopl
After being asked to depart "Starbucks" next door.. Because they were closing.. My friend and I discussed walking into the "La Brea Tar Pits" to continue our business conversation.. I decided that it wasnt wise. .. (Safety speaking) . So I grabbed the brass 📯 horns instead... This little eatery was
We were seated and helped in a timely fashion. The food was fresh and hot and the drinks were refreshingly good. Our server was attentive but didn't hover. Overall great vibe 🤙🏾
This was my first-ever visit to The Counter. A friend had invited us to go with him after we helped him move some boxes, so we all had worked up an appetite. I was happy to see that they had Topo Chico sparkling water from Mexico available on the beverage menu, one of my favorite sparkling waters.
Similar to Red Robin's. Customize your burger place here and they have special deals too (can get the special deal and change it up if you like). Otherwise, burgers are about $13. We went when there was a baseball game going and it was a bit on the noisier level but not bad. Staff was friendly. Grea
Ordered the 1/2 pound veggie burger with 3 sauces on the side and fries. Great portion size. Saved some for the next meal. Highly recommend the Counter for customizable burgers.
Came here for quick food on our way to the tar pits. To start, it looks like they validate parking for the tar pits. We had found street parking (it was sunday, meters were off) but that's good to know in the future! Our server Leticia was super friendly, explained the menu to us since we had never
Second time here and the “Beef and Blue” 1/2 lb burger was next level. Augie provided exceptional service and I will definitely be back.
The food was very good. We had the Bison is Gouda burger (excellent and not the run of the mill burger) and the Mahi Mahi salad (also good). We also tried the loaded tater tots and the fried pickles (both very tasty). I tried the Toasted S'mores shake and that was pretty good but not fantastic (we g
