Library Bar is CLOSED as of March 2023. Only open for private events within the Hotel Roosevelt. Note that you can go to the Tropicana Bar in the back of the hotel, by the pool. Very nice bar and small lounge area.

The Library bar is a cool bar tucked away at the Hotel Roosevelt. It's very small and quaint. The drinks are delicious. I normally order the "Vampire" drink. It's strong and spicy. (See my photos.) The service here is incredibly slow. Now... They make delicious drinks, but they take their time. Expect to wait for your drink. There are places like this that make cocktails way quicker. That's the only reason why I didn't give it five stars.

A Unique Craft Cocktail Bar. The Library Bar is not great with classic recipes but they are adapt at free forming bespoke drinks based on what you like. Of course experimentation doesn't always produce a hit, but fear not. The mixologists there will tweak your drink to bring the balance that suits you. They have more fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs than any bar I've seen. The thing that I love about them is that their cocktails are not something you'll find elsewhere. They are unique. It's a small joint so don't plan on bringing your top twenty friends for a drink. Be sure and check the hours too. Enjoy!

Great ambience here. It has a nice lounge feel to it. A place to take a date to have some good drinks and intimate conversation but also a nice spot to relax at with your friends. The drinks are stout and there are some interesting books on the wall too. You might not do any reading in there but you might find something that would be worth picking up later on to actually read. People write notes and ladies leave their lip prints on them. Definitely a nice place if you're looking to go out and still have a chill environment.

The bartenders here are amazing. They don't have a typical cocktail list because the mixologists make you a drink based on your liquor and flavor preferences. Most drinks include ingredients you wouldn't think of including fresh fruit and vegetables and are very unique. They are a bit expensive at $16 but its a cool place to go for an adventure.

OMG, the best cocktails I've had in my life, thanks to Matthew, Luke, and the others! Fresh herbs, berries, and amazing creativity, such as sea sponges soaked in liquor. Just describe what you like, and they will do absolute magic! Can't compliment these guys enough!

I would best described the decorum as a classy smokers lounge without the smoke. Very trendy relaxing environment to enjoy with a few friends. The mixologists created some of the best mixed drinks I've ever had in my life!

Drinks are pricey (we paid about $17 per drink) but they were quite good. Maybe not quite worth that, but it was fun to be able to ask for a custom cocktail. The Hollywood Roosevelt is a gorgeous building, and the Library Bar is beautiful.

I love this place!!! It's a great ambience, dark lighting, great for a night out with some good company!!! If you visit, be sure to try a pickle back shot!!! Trust me, you won't regret it. I can't even control all of my exclamation points right now.
