We came for lunch while visiting from out of town. Very elegant inside loaded with old time decor and lots of different seating areas and a huge patio area. The service was good with nice views of the airport. The food was good, I had the Salmon which was light and tasty.

We held a memorial luncheon here on a Sunday and it was so perfect. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We needed to borrow an HDMI cable which they had on hand. The buffet was amazing. I loved the cast iron dishware used for the buffet items. None if those usual boring rectangular chafing dishes that caterers use - these were classic and fitting to the theme of the restaurant.

Great service and great food. The views are amazing right next to the runway. This is an absolute must if you're into aviation. They even have a reserved table for pilots! The venue is pretty massive as well. Great for evening drinks as well.

Fabulous Experience!!!!! You dine right on the air strip, and see landings and take offs all throughout your meal. Christine was our server, and she took great care of us, down to the smallest detail. We all participated with the Dine LA promotion (even though it hasnt officially started yet!) and had 1 chicken pasta, and 4 prime ribs. Not one of us had even a tiny complaint! I have been wanting to visit this place for years, and I'm so glad we were able to go this trip! Looking forward to coming back to share with others who havent been yet!!!! A+++ to all staff who added to our experience!!!

Loved this restaurant, lots of old military and aviation memorabilia. Great outdoor seating area, big enough for a large reception. Has large free parking lot, and sits.next to van nuts airport runways. Very nice, shade trees, a short distance off 405 frwy and Roscoe.

Really "tucked into" a corner of Van Nuys, this former French mini-mansion, complete with a bombed out side, is an appealing, important reminder of WWII. The view of the airfield is worth the trip. The food is decent, as is the service with regulars at the bar obviously the most welcome.

Soups, bread & dinner were very good. I had angel hair pasta he had the prime rib. I would go back again without hesitation. The pesto that comes with the bread and butter was delicious!!

Wonderful location. Good food and great service. It's literally adjacent to the Van Nuys Airport where it gets a ton of airplane and helicopter traffic. We saw over 50 take offs/ landings in just over an hour. We ordered the chicken and it was very tasty. The portions are generous and it came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. My only critique is that the inside of the restaurant is a bit dated. I know some of it is related to the theme and desired theme of the place, but some stuff is just plain old. I'm still not holding it against them, that's why I kept it a 5 out of 5. Great experience and good food. Unique place to take someone to.

Loved this place! The authentic WWII displays were awesome. The atmosphere takes you back in time. Military history buffs will get a kick out of this restaurant. You even get a bit of history from the hostess. The food was delicious and the staff was attentive. Located next to Van Nuys airport, you get to see planes and helicopters flying in and out of the area. A must see and eat at joint.

My family has been going to the 94th for 40 years -we LOVE it. However, I would like to give special thanks to the Banquet Manger, Roxanne, for helping me plan a memorial luncheon for my Father in the bar room on Sat, Jan 19, 2019. It was an amazing event and our guests loved the room, service and food. I ordered pin-wheel sandwiches and appetizers for a party of 40 and we had a cash bar. It worked out great -Thank You!!!

A hidden gem! My wife and I had this place suggested to us by a co-worker when we were looking for brunch recommendations, and they couldn't have given us a better place to go. The location is very unassuming, being tucked away in an industrial area, but pulling up to the quaint house really sets the tone. The place is filled with interesting history and nods to its past as a functioning Air Force base. The actual brunch is everything we could have asked for. Whether you're looking for crab legs, mashed potatoes, Mexican staples, Belgian waffles, an omelette station, or even chicken nuggets, they have what you're looking for. After eating, step out on to the back patio and watch the planes take off and land at Van Nuys airport (a great treat for kids). Add bottomless mimosas to the mix puts a nice bow on the experience. Will be returning!

Portions are great for sharing, and wide range on the menu. Just a charming spot for a meal, or meet up for a drink later in the day.
