Tipsy Cow is definitely a popular spot on Ventura Blvd. Came here for happy hour with some girlfriends on a Friday night. They have a few cocktails for $10 on the happy hour menu as well as $9 meals. I went with the chicken sliders (mashed potatoes inside) and the buffalo tots.
They have some tables indoors and lots of outdoor seating. They also have a kids meals for kids 10 and under. There is not really a wait staff so you can order your food and drinks at the bar area
Very small parking lot in the back and metered street parking.
They have the best happy hour chicken slider the great on the APR. You have slider for under 10 bucks. The people is great. You will love the service I’ve been coming here for the last few years.
First time visiting this establishment. We came here to celebrate our cycle instructor's birthday. We had brunch, not a whole lot of items on the menu but the items that they did have were really good. The environment was like a small sports bar. There were about 10 of us in our group, they had a long table that sat us all.
This place is the real deal. From the moment you walk in, the staff is so welcoming and friendly, you'll feel like you're hanging out with your best buds. And let's talk about the food, because that's what really matters, right?
We started off with the Buffalo Cauliflower and Buffalo Tots and holy cow, they were amazing! The perfect combination of crispy and spicy, I could have eaten those all day. And then came the main event, the Big Texan burger. Let me just say, if you're a meat lover, you need this burger in your life. With cheddar cheese, bbq sauce, bacon, pork belly, onion straws, and a sunny-side-up egg, it's a flavor explosion in your mouth.
But wait, there's more! We also tried the Smash burger, which was equally delicious. Double beef patty, American cheese, spicy 1000 dressing, dill pickles, and grilled onions, all on a perfectly toasted bun. And don't even get me started on the fries - crispy, salty, and just the right amount of greasy.
Overall, I can't recommend Tipsy Cow enough. The staff is fantastic, the atmosphere is lively and fun, and the food is out of this world. If you're in Sherman Oaks, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't regret it!
Wasn't really expecting much, but I really underestimated this place! The Buffalo Garlic Wings were INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS. And the Beignets were better than what I've had in New Orleans. All the food was great and the service was really good. Their kitchen is incredibly fast too! So is the bar, ordered drinks by the time i sat down they came within a minute. Great drinks and my wife LOVED their Cucumber Gin Spritz. DOG FRIENDLY BONUS
Could not say enough wonderful things about this place! I host a weekly film club here and we feel like we're part of the family. The bar tenders (we typically see Jose, Jade, and Danika) are so fun and they go above and beyond to make sure we feel welcome. The drinks and food are so amazing and the environment is lively without being too loud. We love Tipsy Cow!
Went there on a Saturday night to try it out. The place was busy, and we went inside to get in line to place our order. Ordered fried pickles, mini chicken burgers, Buffalo cauliflower, and a couple of tipsy mules. Staff seemed tired and cranky. The available tables weren't bused, but I get it. I've been there...ending a long day in the service industry on a busy night with drunk and rude customers. I have never had fried pickles and enjoyed them. Taken aback with the mini burger as it had potato salad in it. The buffalo cauliflower and drinks were okay.

I had an amazing visit to Tipsy Cow , such a great place right in Sherman Oaks off if the most lively part of Ventura Blvd. This is my new favorite place to go The Valley. Joseph recommended the Mac and Cheese and it was really good. It felt great to get such a warm welcome upon arrival as well. Joseph was kind, so helpful going way above and beyond to make sure my experience was exceptional. I have absolutely no complaints at all I highly recommend everyone to check this place out for a great happy hour as well as a fun filled weekend environment.
Happy Hour vibe on a Friday:
The staff is very happy and friendly, which translates into you being happy and friendly. LOL
Buffalo Tots: portion size huge, crunchy, crispy, golden brown fried goodness. They do come with a Parmesan kind of cheesy sauce, and also a buffalo sauce on the side.
$6 for a 16oz well Gin and soda, make it a double for $9.
Atmos: What I like about this place is the late'90s, early 2000 vibe. They play Justin Timberlake right after Linkin Park. So do the math. Musical playlist is all over the place, but it's like Jack FM had a child with KIIS FM during that era.
Staff: on point! Friendly, nice, they take pride in working here. It shows because they are very attentive to your needs, and will accommodate your every request.
Parking: if you live in the area, that's probably going to be your best bet. Parking is street parking only, and it's mostly metered. You might get lucky and find something in the residential areas, but definitely read the signs and the posted parking rules.
I'll be back!
Went here to get brunch with my sister and a friend of hers. I ordered the breakfast burger and a side of orange juice. For the burger, you get to pick how you like the egg done (I went with sunny side up) and then asked if you want a side salad or tator tots.
Overall, food was decent, as I did enjoy what I ordered. I'm not a huge fan of bacon, so the thicker cut of it that comes on the burger might be more appreciated by someone who is and I think the cup that orange juice comes on could be improved. They serve it in what I imagine is the same glass that's used in alcoholic drinks, so it's a fairly skinny glass. For $5, you're paying a lot for such a small serving and remember, it's just orange juice.
If you're concerned about parking, there are some spaces in the back, but if you decide to venture into the neighborhood just behind the place, you'll find plenty of options, so it's manageable.
Not bad, but not exceptional. Decent burger.
Very cozy bar with good vibes. The drinks were good and the food was good too (my partner's burger was great but the fish I had was very bland. Probably my fault for ordering fish and chips at a place called the tipsy cow lol). The service was...not so great. The bar tenders don't really make eye contact with you so its hard to catch their attention unless you stand up or wave your hand around. We were literally two of only three people sitting at the bar and tried to get the bar tender's attention for like 20 mins straight. We weren't in a rush but it was almost laughable how he wasn't paying any attention to us or checking on us while we stared him down. Overall a pretty good time though!
Very nice place to eat if you're in the mood for a burger. The food isn't cheap but definitely isn't expensive. Burgers are around 15 bux... Add fries and a drink on top and your looking at around 25 bux for a meal. It's worth it. The food is delicious and you can tell they take their time to prepare it right. I'd consider this place to be on the higher end of the quality spectrum. Me and my girlfriend both enjoyed our food and we think you will too. Highly recommended!
Good food during Happy Hour and nice servers! Servers are covering indoors and outdoors so they’re really busy, but we never had any trouble with order more drinks and food.
Food was excellent - get the Smash burger. Plenty of happy hour selections. I like that it's not too big. Lots of big screens. Overall, very nice first experience. I'll be back.
Great burgers and good selection of beers. The haystack fries are great. The only problem is finding parking. They have a small lot in the back and metered parking on the street.
Great little bar with good food, friendly staff and a good beer selection
Feels like a divy place. Nice outdoor seating. If you want good beers, relax outside or inside with TVs can't go wrong with this comfort food heaven.
