We came here from a list of best Chilaquiles spots in Los Angeles. At 10:30 on a Sunday this place is packed! As soon as you walk in, you feel like you’re in an authentic restaurant. They have those sturdy wooden chairs and tile that lines the floor.
Weekly specials include 90 minute bottomless mimosas for $22/person on Sundays. BOGO 1/2 off Margaritas on Monday’s etc.
We ordered their chilaquiles, tortilla soup and pancakes along with orange juice. My husband said these chilaquiles are the best he’s had in L.A. The pancakes had warm vanilla notes embedded in the buttermilk fluffiness. The tortilla soup had guacamole and was thick and full of roasted chilis and spices.
Fairly priced, our meal was $48 after tip. It’s a restaurant where you probably need to take a nap after eating or a long walk 😊
What a fantastic Mexican restaurant! The service is exceptional; the waitstaff is knowledgeable and courteous. The food is a masterpiece of Mexican cuisine. The salsas are bursting with flavor, and the enchiladas are to die for. The ambiance transports you to a Mexican hacienda, making it perfect for a romantic dinner or a fun night out with friends. This place is a must-visit!
First time coming and I was brought by someone who had been here before. We arrived around 10am and it was empty. We were greeted quickly and sat at a table. I ordered the piña agua fresca with the cheese enchiladas and half salsa green and red. I really enjoyed the green salsa more than the red. Everything was delicious and warm and it did not disappoint. Worth checking them out!

5* for the service! Staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. They were clear and aware of vegan options and made great order suggestions with the food. The food had generous portions, and was fresh and delicious too. It's my first time having cactus!
Looked up this spot at random and found a gem. If you're in the area or local, this is a spot to go. Flautas are a must for an appetizer, and the tacos varieties are awesome. The barbacoa and the mole were very good. Coming back to this place.
According to Google, last time I was here was 8 years ago. This was 8 years too long. I was extremely overwhelmed with joy to see they survived the pandemic. There is no Mexican restaurant in the area that competes with this location. The service, food, and atmosphere has no parallel. I've been blessed in circling their menu a couple of times. You cannot be disappointed with anything you order, but, while extremely difficult, I was able to find some favorites. Barbacoa is essential. From the tenderness in the meat to the sensation your taste buds feel with every bite. The Mango Chicken is a close second. I'm not a big fan of sweet meats but the way these two flavors come together are unbelievable. Even their rice has an unforgettable taste. It is too easy to clean your plate and send your mother pictures so she can let you have dessert. Speaking of dessert...the best bread pudding on this side of the hemisphere. If you're too full, get one to go. I'm a life long fan of Los Anaya, and promise to not let another 8 years go by before coming back. But first, I'll visit your second location.
First time here, and we ordered Camarones ala diabla and Special Meats Tacos. Everything was so delicious !!! Can’t wait to come back to try something else in their menu!
Driving by Los Anaya often this is my first time actually dining in. The service was excellent and the food came out within less than 10 mins but then again it was not filled to capacity. I ordered the green chicken enchiladas and the beeef barbacoa taco was delicious. For drinks I ordered the mango margarita and by the time I finished my 2nd one I was buzzed haha. My wife ordered the watermelon aqua fresca and she enjoyed it. The guava flan topped our dinner with its sweet and creamy flavor.
The only thing that was not my favorite today was the al pastor sope. The pork in the al pastor was not juicy. It could use some pineapple.
Overall will come again.
I went here with my husband and son. The service was awesome everyone was so friendly and welcoming. There food was delicious! The portions are big! We had the chilaquiles and enchiladas both were great! We will definitely be back.
Everything was great, this a small restaurant, really, like the environment, the cafe de olla was great. I got to try the chile relleno, it was serve with rice, salad, and beans and hand made tortilla, which was a plus. Taste was great, very nice and gentle waiter. Over all was great, just a small detail was the restroom, needed to be more clean. And parking lot was a block away from the restaurant, on a rainy day, doesn't really help
The food is absolutely delicious!! EVERYTHING !! From the salsas to the main dish. Even the tortilla chips they weren't greasy but perfectly crunchy and they stay crunchy for at least 2 days after bringing them home and rice is even more flavorful when you reheat it the next day !!They are far above normal / average . Everything is so flavorful and fresh !!! I was pleasantly surprised and have been back several times since. I'm giving it 5 stars for the food .
Came here randomly with a friend! Food was better than average. Salsa was reall good and so was the bread pudding. Enchiladas were great but the red sauce was slightly sweeter than I like. Still finished everything on my plate!
Fajitas are really yummy! They add tomatoes to it unlike other places and it was juicy! Chips are not fresh though the salsa is good.
1/11/23: I came just for the guava flan cause I love guava. I give it 4*. It's just regular flan with a couple pieces of guava paste cubes inserted in the middle. At $8.50, I wouldn't return.
Friendly staff. Great little hole in the wall. Very attentive. Delicious food 👍
Definitely good food with the meats very well flavored. Wish they gave you free chips and salsa. The portions are smaller than what you would expect from other places you may have been to. I'd come back with my expectations in check.
Our first time here. Warm welcome, nice atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious! I had the chicken enchiladas with the green sauce and my boyfriend had the Al Pastor tacos. We highly recommended these dishes! The fresh tortillas are really good. If we are ever in the area again we are coming back!
Homelike experience. Nice little cozy Mexican restaurant. Variety of food selection, great coffee, great service and great energy😊 Stop by for a meal you won’t regret☝🏽
