Chicken mlianeza was good

Nice ambience
Salsa music took us to a mood
We will see u soon, yes again for everything not to forget your mango juice
Friends of ours chose here for dinner. It's simple Brazilian food with a fun and colorful ambiance. I ordered the vegetable grill plate with black beans and rice. It came with the lentil soup. It was all tasty, though the veggies were a bit oily or buttery for my taste and the yucca fries needed salt or a dipping sauce. The wine pour was big which was nice and you could just walk in, order, and grab a seat on a Friday night!
Great atmosphere. Great cof.... Great atmosphere.
Great coffee.
Okay food with okay prices.
Rustic charm. The cafe is a small jewel right off of Washington Blvd.
Self seating and counter ordering I didn't hold out much hope for more than an okay meal in a charmingly rustic looking Brazilian cafe. I was thrilled to get a beautifully seasoned shrimp on fresh herbs, tomato, argulla, and rice.
Entree's come with black beans or salad.
Inside the walls are full of beautifully art paintings and the table and mismatch chairs give the place a comfortable relaxing atomsphere. Everything about this place says join us!
Who knew?. When considering a spot for lunch Brazilian food is not something I would normally think of. My mistake. This place is so good. The beans and rice alone are worth it but the meat is perfectly grilled and seasoned. I've been twice now and it is consistently good. To top it off the executive lunch is an amazing deal
Cafe Brazilliant!. Okay... lame title. But for those looking for a great lunch spot in Culver City this place is a must. Do the 'executive lunch'... sirloin or chicken with rice beans and plantains... simple delicious Brazilian food. Do it
For a Great Cultural Feast. For those who are looking for good clean authentic Brazilian cuisine, no fuss-no muss, then this is a great spot. The small and quaint, but cozy and charming atmosphere lends itself to the home-style flavors and service. You'll definitely get your fill here (portions are good) and there are a number of spicy meat, seafood and veggie dishes for the strong at heart. The Plantains are out of this world and there's a nice selection of Brazilian beers on hand. For the sports fan, they keep Soccer on the 2 super-flat screen TVs so you can eat and be entertained. FYI: Best spot in the house is the garden-style setting patio.
Absolutely Amazing Food. I have eaten there about 5 or 6 times now and each time, the food is always so delicious. The staff is very warm and friendly and it feels like you are eating at home in your own closed in Patio. They even have fresh fruit and Vegetables in big bowls for you to snack on. I give it a 10 1/2
This place is really good. Rodrigo is a very nice guy who makes you feel at home. The food is really good. It's different from other restaurants because you have to order first at the counter and they give you a number and they bring the food out to you. If you go you won't be disappointed. Thanks Rodrigo! We will be back!
Pristine ambience and delicious Brazilian cuisine. We ordered hot sandwiches along with the authentic Brazilian appetizers, and were totally satisfied with the taste. Don't forget to try the apple tart!
This restaurant is connected to a hotel as well. It’s so cute and well decorated!
The food was fresh and tasty. We had chicken, rancheira steak, some empadhinas, and apple tart and brigadeiro for dessert.
Employees were very kind and patient.
Favorite highlight was the Brazilian salsa. Was a great accompaniment to the steak, chicken, and rice and beans.
Our party of 3 had appetizers, split 2 entrees, and had 2 desserts for $67 which was super fair. And that includes soft drinks!
Tasty and different from my usual options. I got the steak plate with fried plantains and spicy black bean soup.
All I can say, is that it hit the spot. Friendly people, nice decor and a good Caipirinha! 5 stars!
Such a great experience, the food was perfect, real Brazilian food, great caipirinha, this place is so beautiful and cute ! I can’t wait to come back!
Highly recommend

Food was amazing a great surprise ! The ambience super good ! I loved it and I want to come back ❤️
FRESH!! Everything was so fresh and delicious!! The cheese breads brought me back to São Paulo! The lentil soup was flavorful, but could have had a dash of salt or hot sauce. Those lamb chops were so tender and very well seasoned! Even the rice tasted good 😂 The fried plantains we’re crispy and perfectly done! I had the passion fruit juice and I can’t say enough about it! That word fresh just keeps coming up!
I was warmly greeted when I got to the register. A lovely older woman took my order and was very friendly! I didn’t wait long for my food.
The ambiance is charming. It’s colorfully and thoughtfully decorated and there’s soft music playing!
I will definitely be back! I’d even bring my Brazilian friends here!
This place has a soft place in my heart/belly. Dining in is a better experience than ordering delivery through a service. After ordering the other day I've hesitate to review due to the quality of what I received, due to the delivery provider. Foods flavor, while a bit subdued, is one of a kind. The subtle hints of South American Latin fills senses that rarely get triggered in California. One thing to note is that the brown rice is worth the price hike.
Delicious. Portions seemed a bit smaller and 3 meals ran us $100. However, always a good experience. Vibrant, cozy ambiance with lots of colors and fresh flowers. Self-ordering at register and food and drinks brought to your table. Indoor seating is decent, but cozy, and small outdoor seating area is also available. Never a bad experience.
DEFINITELY and authentic taste of Brazil. Cheesy bread appetizers are a must try. Menu is elaborate and full of authentic entrées desserts and sides. I always Opt for the lentil soup! Yummmm! Healthy and filling. Located in Culver City it’s off the beaten path of the LA hustle and bustle. Outdoor seating is gorgeous and full of character.

My family and I hadn't been here in a few years. I'm so happy they were still open after the Pandemic hit. We were able to eat indoors. The original owner is still there and they changed the ceiling; it's still such a magical place. The best Brasilian food in town!!!!
This place is a long-time favorite for casual dining that I first discovered while doing an alphabetical cuisine project with a friend. The "B" entry was Brasilian and Cafe Brasil fit the bill nicely though at the time they were still at the previous location on Venice Boulevard. I've been back dozens of times over the years because it's just really good and really festive but not loud or garish. It has a mom & pop vibe that gives you a nice comfortable homey feeling.
They don't do the gaucho style barbecue here where they come around with large hunks of meat and slice it with a sword directly onto your plate but they do have a really nice steak that is done well for a place like this and is better than most. Plates can also be centered on fish, shrimp, pork, or chicken and come with rice and beans, fried plantains, and a side salad. The feijoada is excellent - made in-house - with generous pieces of pork and sausage served with rice, yucca powder, ribboned greens, and a sweet orange. Also recommended are the empanadas - coxhina formed in the traditional shape of a chicken leg, the pao de queijo (cheese bread), and the pasteis. Portions are generous.
I usually just get the passion fruit drink as a beverage but they serve beer here. I've seen some people bringing their own wine but I don't think they offer corkage even for a fee so best to check ahead. I don't think they serve cocktails or liquor.
The price went up a little, but still, good and quality homemade food. Churraso and dark meat chicken plates impressed me so much. The meat was so tender and juicy, yet the lentil soup and bean comes with it was tasty. I would definitely come back.
I have been going to Cafe Brasil for the past 13+ years. Incredible food, hospitality and atmosphere. When you step into the restaurant you will immediately be transported. You have to eat at the restaurant/dine in and get the whole experience, don't cheat yourself by getting take out (I know it's tempting). My faves are the salmon plate, pasta (I get it picante) either vegan or with your choice of meat, and the New Zealand lamb plate (plates come with meat, black beans, rice, plantains and either lentil soup or salad) cooked to perfection!!! There are also plenty of vegan options too. Also, the coffee is the best (served with whole ceylon cinnamon) and the mango juice is also a favorite. And don't forget about the hot sauce (they make it in house, although I do miss the house made pickled habanero and serano peppers they used to serve in the past, so spicy and flavorful). Hands down THE BEST Brazilian food in Los Angeles (find the picture of Beckham on the wall, he agrees too).
Good food! Pricey and small stew, which I wouldn’t get again for $28 in an otherwise very basic, quaint restaurant. Great sandwiches for $11.
Kind and helpful staff.
