I am in town for a meeting. I wanted to try an Italian restaurant based on the past reviews, so I selected Nicola's. The restaurant is nice. There are several restaurants in the same area and they all require street parking. I had to park a block away on a Sunday night. The menu at Nicola's is interesting. There are some traditional Italian dishes, but there are some surprises. For example l, a breakfast menu (even though they open up at 11am), Cheeseburger as a "House Specialty" and Thai Pasta. For a restaurant I have not been to, I tend to go with the house specialties. I had Lasagna. The lasagna had a lot of meat and it was very filling. I also ordered a side salad. The warm flatbread that came with the meal was fantastic. I could only eat half of the lasagna and took the rest home. Overall, I would highly recommend Nicola's.

This is a super cozy and cute place to go with friends or even alone. the staff is great, and the food is delicious, but the atmosphere is the best! It's located in such a cute neighborhood, feels high end and charming, and it really makes you feel like you're in Paris even though you're in woodland hills!

Nicola's Kitchen is a good Italian restaurant. They ask if you want bread before you order, which was tasty flatbread, which went well with the balsamic vinegar! I ordered the eggplant parmesan which came on top of noodles. I was slightly underwhelmed because there were just 2 thin pieces of eggplant on top of a lot of noodles - which actually was enough for 2 meals for me. There is also parking at the parking lot that is behind the shopping center, which they will validate (not the public one across the street).

Always one of my favorite places to go. It’s always fresh and delicious. The bread is to die for and I love how fresh, cold, and crisp the salad is.

This review is based on the breakfast only.. I got the "Choose Your Own Pancake" in which you get to pick 3 toppings for 2 NICE sized pancakes. I finish my food 9 times out of 10 but I was unable to finish both of these. I choose Nutella, bananas, and milk chocolate chips for my toppings along with a side of applewood bacon. The pancakes were very well cooked. I really don't have anything to complain about other than the fact that two of my pieces of bacon were over cooked, but that wasn't a big deal. The service and the food quality was what stood out at Nicola's Kitchen. I would love to visit again.

We have been eating at Nicola’s for many years and the food is always excellent. Service is very good, but prices have risen significantly in the last few years.

This place was in a decent area with great access to parking. There's a garage where they validate for an hour in the back. The food was decent, in the picture are the jambalaya and the meatball.

Food was great! They close at 8:00 p.m. so they were rushing to get us out!

A place we go to every once in a while and it remains good over the years. Portions are big, price is very reasonable, wine selection is good too. Service is good as well.

I've known Nicola's Kitchen for over 20 years. This is the first time in 6 years that I've been back and I'm happy to report that the quality and service remain unchanged!

The food was amazing. Light and full of flavours. The server’s recommendations were spot on. We ordered vegetarian pasta and soup and both were tasty yet light. The tiramisu was the best we’ve had yet. We’ll dine here again when we visit Woodland Hills in the future. This is must visit place for vegetarians who like Italian food and want to enjoy the flavours.

Love this little local breakfast spot! The food is delicious and the carrot cake is by far the best in the valley. Service can be bleh when they are really busy but the excellent service when they aren't makes up for slower service here and there. Great menu and great ambiance. In nice weather, the patio is nice.
