My husband and I went to Girasol last night and it was delightful. Excellent food & Great service. We ordered shared plates and each one was better than the last. The Octpus Salad was phenomenal and is a must try if they have it on their menu when you visit. Will definitely be returning to this place!!

We've come here quite a few times and have always loved the food, service, and ambiance. It's a little but pricey but the food quality is incredible and they have seasonal menus and fun specials. I highly recommend it!

Such an incredible menu. The dishes are so unique, whole, and full of flavor. Highlights were the brussels sprouts, mushrooms, satay and an absolutely wonderful short rib!

Girasol knocked it out of the park. My sister treated me to a belated celebratory birthday dinner there last night! We dined on pears with fresh Burrata and crispy lentils, hamachi w/ sea beans, grass fed sirloin meatballs, mussles w/ grilled bread and a shared entree of black cod w/ crispy Brussel sprouts and a lobster sauce (my fave). Thanks to all of our friendly servers and to the chef for a great menu - great suggestions and a wonderful dining experience. We were too full to order dessert but we will next time for sure!

The food and service was outstanding. The dishes are unique; flavorful and the presentation lovely. The atmosphere/ambiance is peaceful and quiet for conversation. This is a critical element for us when dining with friends. As important, the tables are not "on top" of each other. We thoroughly enjoyed everything! Ahh, portions are sufficient! Highly recommend a reservation!

probably one of the best restaurants in LA, and certainly the Valley.

My friends and I celebrated my birthday at Girasol. The decor, atmosphere, staff (including meeting Chef CJ), and the food was all fabulous. We could not pick a favorite dish, as everything was delicious. I love the idea of the shared dishes. We would definitely go back.

Dear friends invited us for dinner - and we were looking for a quiet restaurant where we could sit and talk while enjoying the food. We try to check things out before we went - reviews (the usual mix of amazing and absolutely horrible) and their website. I must say, it always puts me off a bit when restaurants "hide" the prices on the website. Why do so? There should not be a secret - and you sure do not want to "negatively surprise" any patrons realizing that the place is over their budget after having been seated. We went on a Saturday night - and it was - apart from the over-tired kid on the next table - quiet (as quite empty). Our waiter was very knowledgeable and very willing to accommodate every of wishes - and we really tested him ;-) For us as Europeans, the service speed was perfect, for Americans unusually slow. We all found the menu very inspiring - but, and there is always a but, it comes somewhat silly when you strive that you constantly change your menu and still advertise it as "the spring menu" .... at the end of August ;-) The portions were small, beautifully presented and very tasty - the prices were, as I had already assumed by not being available on the restaurant's website, a bit on the high side. We loved the food, we loved the place, we loved the waiter - and still, I am not sure if we will return. As from taste and ambience, they sure have exceeded our expectation, I award them four stars (in my rating scheme I normally do only give four stars if I vow to return, five only if I was prepared to make a 30+ min detour to go). If you like to try new restaurants and are not on a budget, I can highly recommend the place.

Great food, service, and decor. Eclectic menu. We had the whole snapper and kale (deliciuos) and the duck kwith fennel and peaches). Both dishes were excellent and things we couldn't have easily prepared at home. Serviceable wine list, which is possibly the only area that could use some improvement.

Between the four of us we had four appetizers, two entrees, three sides, and two deserts. I would say pretty much everything was top notch - the meatballs could have used some work. The service was superb. Nice work Miles and company. Whoever they hired to design the logo should, however, should never be hired again. Seriously it's is impossible to read the name on the sign. This is definitely not a $$ restaurant.

My daughter and I came in for a girls night out and we ordered the Chef's choice, which is a nine course meal. We were so pleased to see that EVERY dish was gorgeous to look at and also amazingly delicious!! Hamachi, crispy duck, a potato dish to die for and more!! Can't wait to come back with my husband. It's a little on the high end pricewise but I'm happy to pay for the deliciousness.

Just came back after a while. Not because we don't like it, but because it's a bit of a haul from home. Absolutely love this place! The cocktails were on point. Staff was friendly. Ambience was nice. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Love this place. Not speaking Spanish can put us on the outside of a lot of community things in Canutillo. Cesar and his wife welcomed us in from our first visit. They are polite small business owners and just great people. Food is amazing. People even better.

EDIT - I had the brunch. It was just as good as dinner. Make sure someone at the table gets the crispy potatoes! The bloody mary's were also good with great garlic and strong flavor! I had to admit I've only ever been once about a month after it opened but I think about it all the time and want to go more. It's only due to me being half asleep by 9pm weeknights that we don't go more often (we wouldn't get there till 8pm for dinner if we went during the week) The food was fresh and vibrant and so delicious. At the time we went i had the whole fish. I haven't had a whole fried fish in years. We also loved the people we were sitting next to and had a wonderful dinner conversation so that helped too. I've yearned to go to brunch but have no one to go with :( Maybe I can convince the one early morning person I know to go with me...hrm now that's an idea! The only con I will give this place is the closeness to your neighbors. You can't go here thinking you won't overhear everyone's conversation.

Excellent place for brunch or dinner with high-quality locally sourced food items. Their food is always fresh and very tasty served with friendly service. Our favorite is the lobster benedict and the potato crisps.

CLOSED. This location reopening as Balcones de Peru on December 22, 2018. This location will be an offshoot of Balcones de Peru in Hollywood. This is a review of their awesome happy hour daily Tuesday thru Sunday 5 - 7 pm, as,I haven't eaten from the main menu yet. Happy hour here is great. Wines $6. Great cocktails like walnut old fashions $6 - 8. For happy hour food: bruscetta $ 8 really great, hand made potato chips in aeolli dip $5 great, plus hamachi and many other things. Everyday except Monday
