Came here after performing with Christian Action Heroes and was absolutely blown away by their quality/portion of food and extraordinary service. Seriously, the food was so good (loved everything I ordered) and SO MUCH for the price we paid. The owner came out to greet us towards the end and we had a great conversation. Will definitely come back and recommend this place to friends!

Soul food I asked for and Soul food I got. Smother chicken, Collard greens, Yams & Cornbread dressing. Others had Fried chicken, Turkey, Short ribs, Mac & Cheese. Needless to say we couldn't eat it all in one setting, each plate had a hefty portion. We will return, maybe next time the Oxtails will be on the menu for that day. Oh by the way the dessert was delicious the next day too, we were to full to eat it then. (Sweet potato pie & Peach cobbler) Service was excellent.

Truly one of the Gems of Los Angeles!!!! Family have been patrons of this family owned eatery for over 35 + years and still a family generational favorite. They even cater and have dishes for Vegetarians with no meat is some of the Vegetables. I am a strick VEGETARIAN and I get double Mac & Cheese a must, Green Beans, Cabbage and Yams extra and Two sides of Corn muffins a must again, German Chocolate Cake and Peach Cobbler and Homemade Lemonade. They give amazingly genoreous portions so you can get 2 meals at least. I think I just talked myself into going to get a plate. Dulans is a must when visiting LA or a home Towner stop by for Lunch or Dinner and Now Sunday Brunch and Jazz. Even the Tour Buses stop here for the amazing eats....Yup just talked myself into going to get a plate.....see you there!!!!!!

Best Soul Food since I was in Atlanta. Smothered pork chops can be eaten nicely with just a fork. Fried chicken, yup. Corn bread, proper. Collard greens, uh huh. First tried that I loved were corn bread stuffing and sweet potato pie, addictive. Place is hopping with loads of takeout. Line moves quick. A must visit and worth the drive when in LA.

Delicious! Fried chicken not greasy at all and the baked chicken is just as yummy. Mashed potatoes were a little runny but very tasty. We had collard greens, cornbread dressing, mac n cheese, and corn with okra and everything was very delicious. The cornbread muffins were the best I've had. The line goes a little slow but the service is great, everyone is very nice. Overall it was a nice yummy experience and we will definitely go back, but this time we want to try the ox tails that looked sooo goood!! 🀀

So glad we made the decision to come here! Everything was absolutely delicious. From the fried chicken to the stuffing...THE YAMS...MY GOODNESS (some of the best I've ever had hands down) Let's not forget the sweet tea and lemonade mixed...WHEWWW! We dined in and the experience was very pleasant. Felt like a huge Sunday Dinner with familyπŸ₯° Our waiter JAMES was so nice and on top of everything. You can smell the deliciousness as you drive by, that alone should give you reason to stop. The portions are big so I'd recommend the lunch combo with 2 sides. The fried chicken with greens & mac & cheese are amazing! I'd also recommend the fried fish, mashed potatos, black eyed peas & peach cobbler. If you ordered ahead you can wait at their pick up window around the corner from Crenshaw entrance.

I seen this spot on Spectrum news. Ever since then I been wanting to try this spot out for soul food. To be honest the food hit the spot. For a white fat boy I had to take 1/2 of the food the home for dinner. The food mad good when I had it for dinner cold. Will return in the near future

This is my first time eating here and I absolutely love it! I ended up getting the "dinner" which was the smothered chicken & comes with three pieces and three sides plus cornbread. I ended up getting a drink as well. My side items I chose was the collard greens, red beans and rice, and the Black Eyed Peas. I really didn't care for the collard greens due to it didn't have enough seasoning for me,. So the next time I go, I'll probably get a double order of red beans and rice or Black Eyed Peas or mashed potatoes (cuz I love potatoes 😊) because those were absolutely amazing I didn't have to add any type of ingredients on those I ate them just as is. The smothered chicken was absolutely amazing. I put extra gravy on mine as I love gravy anyway LOL but also the smothered pork chops are amazing as well. I wish that you can do one of each instead of all chicken or all pork chop. Now the drink that I got was lemonade. I will say that the lemonade tasted just like lemonade Kool-Aid. To me you couldn't tell me that it wasn't the lemonade Kool-Aid, But who knows that might be their secret ingredient I don't know. I'm not Downing it if it is, but it does taste straight like Kool-Aid. All in all, to me, it's better than Roscoe's which was our first spot that we were going to go to, but I'm glad that we didn't go there. I'm glad that we came here instead. I can write all day long about it and how I sampled from the people that I was with their food as well, but I'm not going to go into too much more however, I will say that if you're looking for a great soul food place this is by far the best soul food place that I've ever been to..

Yummy! This was my first time eating from here I saw them on Google and I placed an order to go and 15 minutes later it was ready the lady at the front was so nice and she was so helpful should've asked her name. But the Fried Chicken was crunchy with white juicy meat the mac and cheese was so flavorful and cheesy the yams were sweet to the perfection and I just love the cornbread the sweet tea is a must-have I should have ordered three cups LOL the best sweet tea I have purchased from a restaurant by far they also have Rewards each time you visit you can get a stamp on your loyalty card I thought that was so awesome I definitely will be returning thank you Dulan's team! My tummy is happy .

Before heading back to the Bay, the hubby and I went to Dulan's for a bite to eat. It was Sunday, so they opened at 11am. We arrived at 1030, mad early, as we planned to eat somewhere else. We followed suit of the regulars and stood in line. There were only 3 people ahead of us, so we didn't have to wait to get in. My husband's order came quickly. He had smothered chicken, cornbread dressing, string beans and mac and cheese. He was getting down on it too. I ordered fried fish, which is made to order so it was 20 minutes for my meal. They give you so much food, one meal feeds two people. For the Sunday price, you get a good deal. My husband ate half of his meal and couldn't eat anymore. I couldn't meet the 1/2 way mark. There was soooo much food. There's a parking lot and plenty of street parking. There weren't as many people as I had imagined (per the reviews). The staff kept the line moving pretty quickly. The food wasn't overly spicy or seasoned or greasy, which worked for me.
