Very good Italian Food. Home made pasta’s tops it off! The service was very good even with a full restaurant. Very lively atmosphere.
Great restaurant. The outside doesn't look as nice but everything else is just as nice. The service, food, cleanliness, and choices of food is best to experience more than once.
Ancora is an amazing restaurant which has never lost its touch. I had an amazing time with my family over the weekend and we enjoyed the bread, the fresh cesar salad, pizza with 3 pastas dishes. I almost forgot my calamari it was amazing all my kids are requesting to only come back to Ancora. I recommend this restaurant you won’t be disappointed.
I have been going to Ancora since it first opened as La Finestra in around 2000. The owners are true restaurant professionals, and serve guests with gusto. The food there is really good, and the service is typically very effective. Go there and you will know why the same people have been going there for dinner for two decades, of good eating, at a fair price.
Fabulous Italian restaurant that walks the line between formal and casual. Great takes on common pasta dishes and salads. Good wine and beer list. Still a great restaurant with great staff. But skip the pizza. Get pasta at Anchor and any attachments without reading or saving get pizza at a pizza shop.
Cozy little Italian restaurant that totally hit the spot on a chilly Friday night. They seemed to be quite overwhelmed, between takeout orders and a full dining room. We had reservations so they seated us within a few minutes. Service was very slow (25 min to get our order and another 35 min to get our food), but honestly, we weren't in a hurry. The wine came out pretty fast so we just hung out drinking wine for a while.
Food wise, they had at least 10 vegetarian pasta options, which is incredible to me. I ended up going with the Rigatoni Boscaiola and it was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned, the right balance of creamy and acidic, and pasta cooked al dente. Portion sizes were good too; I always struggle with those olive garden-sized monstrosities that some places serve, but not here. Overall they were very sweet and very apologetic about the wait times, but the food was so good that I didn't mind.
One of my favorite Italian restaurants. My wife and I went for Valentine’s Day and after a nightmare experience at Roy’s last year. Ancora was amazing. We’ve been going to this restaurant for years and even though the restaurant was packed we only waited 15 minutes after our reservation and the food was brought out quickly and hot.our waitress Nicole is the absolute best. Always a smile and will make any adjustments to your meal due to different dietary needs. I’d give it 5 stars but I’m from New York and no restaurant in Los Angeles is quite as good.

This place is not too fancy and service usually takes a while. They more than make up for this with their awesome food.
Always a great meal and service here! The eggplant parm (as an app) is smothered in cheese and delicious, the pizza crust is crispy and the sauce savory, and the creative pasta dishes always offer tasty options.
To top it off, the wine prices are reasonable! Have and will definitely return...
We were driving through on our way to San Francisco. We stopped with 15 minutes to spare and hating showing up close to closing time. We were very afraid we wouldn’t be able to be accommodated. They were warm and gracious. The food was fantastic! 5 stars! The pasta was just delicious. My husband’s was as well. The only bad thing is that we don’t live here or it would be my go to spot for great Italian.
I come from New York to visit my brother in Chatsworth yearly, and this is the first restaurant I ask to eat at. It's the perfect dining experience. Attentive and friendly staff. Creative, delicious and well priced meals. Joyful ambiance. I never leave the LA area for home without eating there once or sometimes twice!
Great experience!! Made me feel like I was in Italy again! The owner was very hospitable through out the entire evening, checking on us several times. The server was knowledgeable. The food was authentic. I'll be going back
We just did a pick up order earlier this week. The food was sooo good! The owner personally put the food in my car. He was wearing a mask and gloves, which made me feel very safe. Chicken parm AMAZING, spicy salami pizza INCREDIBLE, and rigatoni boscaiola THE BEST! Thanks Ancora Cucina Italiana for staying open and serving the BEST ITALIAN FOOD!

I've never had a mediocre meal here. Everything has been superb. From appetizer to dessert. The Veal is amazing, Chicken Parmesan..amazing, Mushroom ravioli..amazing, Lasagne...amazing. Friendly service and reasonably priced.
