This is a small restaurant that has a relatively large menu. My work family and I have been getting lunch takeout from this place for many years now. The steak salad, grilled salmon with capers, chicken panini and rosemary chicken are my go to orders here. The portions are huge and enough for sharing.
My workplace usually orders from Melrose Café. All i can say is…YUMMMM! The food is always fresh, tasty, hot when it arrives and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Hard working cooks and front of house! Thank you for the hard work you guys do!
A friend sent me a surprise lunch from MC and it was AMAZING! The burger was perfectly cooked, fries crisp and the Ceasar salad was awesome, the dressing is drinkable!! So surprised this is right around the block from my house. I'll definitely be ordering again very soon!
I've strolled up and down this street looking for good for a good price, and though some restaurants have a good selection, it's hard to justify the price. This place just opened up not to long ago and I felt it would reflect a similar flavor and price, but I was shocked to see they have the best prices as well as fresh homemade flavored dishes. The portions are great and extremely kind customer service. On this block they get my vote for best place to eat.
Oh and this burger is ginormous!
Great food and great service 🌟 we had the crab cakes as an appetizer, I had the chicken Parmesan and he had the New York steak. Both were cooked to perfection and came with two sides. A great meal for a great price

Good Italian food at a reasonable price and plentiful! Two of us shared the Greek Salad, the Fried Calamari, the Chicken Piccata and a slice of Carrot Cheese Cake. What a great lunch! ¡Gracias David por El almuerzo y más la compañia!
I think I got the minestrone soup for lunch 3x last week and again today and it's Monday. I don't even really like veg soups. All the pastas and pizzas are really good and the prices are even better. You can order online or call. I'd cl about 20-30 min before you pick up.
I’ve been going here since they opened and they are one of the best spots in the neighborhood. Their prices are very reasonable considering how big the portions are, and it’s not uncommon for me to get 2-3 meals out of one purchase.
That’s aside from the food itself, which had all been amazing. I’ve tried their pizzas, sandwiches and pastas. Each one has gone above and beyond my expectations. The customer service has always been exceedingly friendly as well.
It has my full recommendation. Anyone who finds themselves in the area, (whether at Kaiser, Children’s Hospital, Barnsdal Park or just because), should check out this hidden gem.
Love everything I've tried from this place. The chicken burger is delicious, and for the price, it can't be beat. Turkey panini is delicious, and the side salad was big enough that I had it the next day for lunch! The spaghetti too, it was a huge portion! Had half for lunch, took the rest home and had it for lunch the next day.
This is a great little cafe. The food was excellent and the portions were large. Quite the little gem, and this is coming from an Oregonian in L.A.
The food is always delicious and the service is great. You can really taste the quality. This is my favorite local place to grab a bite. Know that whatever you get, it's going to be good.
Have to try the Ceviche Tuna salad. It'll blow your mind. Everything there is fantastic. It's a small cafe and they do get busy at lunch so my advice is to call before 11am or order online through their site.

Delicious, fresh, love the crab cake sammich and just them alone I love the pastas the cooks are hard workers and I tell them thanks. They have excellent prices so I tip 50% they deserve it
