Since the first night here I was looking forward to sharing a great review. We had outstanding service here at Hotel Figueroa. Valet employees were extremely nice and helpful in giving out the best recommendations in the area. Rooms were very clean, spacious, and had a great view. Didn’t hear any road noise. Breakfast dining was our favorite!! Their food is so delicious. We ate several times during our stay here to avoid the traffic and wait at other nearby places. The convenience of having great food in a hotel was truly the best part a long with the location. We attended a Lakers game and were so impressed with how close we were walking distance from the hotel. The area is safe to walk around lots of food options nearby too. Beautiful shopping mall down the street in case you need a new outfit or forgot something from home. We will definitely come back and stay here! You will be highly satisfied and thankful you stayed here for your next visit.
I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The room was not just clean but also beautifully appointed, with every amenity I could ask for.
The dining experience was a highlight; the hotel’s restaurant served exquisite cuisine, and the staff there were attentive and friendly. I couldn’t have asked for better meals during my stay.
What truly sets this hotel apart is its attention to detail and the comfort it offers. I slept like a dream on the plush bedding, and the overall ambiance of the hotel.
Furthermore, the location is perfect for exploring the area, with easy access to local attractions and transportation.
Overall, my stay here was memorable, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
After staying in several downtown LA hotels, from both Marriott and Hilton properties, I can confidently say this is one of the better options. Check-in was smooth, and I was upgraded to a spacious room on the 12th floor. The elevators are very fast for a restored hotel, waiting no longer than 30 seconds for an elevator at any time. The fresh-brewed coffee every morning is much better than the concentrated coffee from other hotels. The free water boxes every day is another nice perk. Cafe Fig is a fantastic lounge with excellent drinks, food, and service. Lastly, a special shout-out to Manager Karen Garcia for resolving a billing issue promptly and professionally. I hope to stay at this hotel again.
We stayed here earlier this month for just 1 night when my daughter and I were in town for the Taylor Swift concert. When Karen at the front desk heard that we were going to the concert and it was my daughter's birthday she upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge. She went above and beyond in that she printed out a full-color card Eras Tour poster artwork on it and a handwritten note along with specialty drinks and snacks to welcome us into our room. We wish we would have had more time to spend in our suite - the decor was awesome and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice that they had valet parking with security overnight for our car. The bellmen, front desk staff, and valet staff were all very friendly. I highly recommend Hotel Figueroa! Thanks again Karen!
10/10 recommend. The hotel is very clean and well decorated. Everything was done above and beyond. The restaurants were good, the staff were very kind and helpful, and the location was awesome. Walkable or a cheap Uber ride around town. I saw comments about noise, we stayed on a Sunday night and didn’t find it too loud. You are in a city though so yes there will be some traffic noises but that’s in all city’s. We will definitely be staying here for future visits to LA!
Pleasantly surprised by this hotel! We arrived and our room was not ready, so they gave us a voucher to use at their bar while we waited. Customer service was exceptional and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, clean and quiet (even on the concert night). Free lattes in the morning was a perk. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
The front desk staff is terrific, very responsive and polite. The rooms are a bit small but very quiet except for the occasional dog barking. Although you can do nothing about the destination fee of $30 it is not worth it. In fact the two "free espresso drinks" cost me $21. I assume the servers are not familiar with that aspect of the destination fee. The hotel does not seem to be able to accommodate physically challenged folks. There seemed to be several locations that were inaccessible. Don't forget a swim suit cover up if you plan on using the pool as you will be walking through the bar to get there and back. All in all a nice place to stay.
CONGLOMERATE HYATT bought hotel Fig
Hotel room 4/5
Customer service 5/5
Pool 2/5
Food 3/5
Our stay was great, the service was great. The pool area is a little sketch — only FIVE cabanas for hotel guests. The rest of the pool area is strictly surveillances by the restaurant/bar $300.00 minimum to sit by the pool.
We had spent $500+ by the pool but it wasn’t planned. It felt very COMMERCIAL and cooperate vs the Hotel Fig energy from 2018
We stayed two night & two days — the customer service is Amazing. They went above and beyond to make up for mistakes made by the bar, security & pool employees.
We’ll definitely come back but heads-up it is owned by a corporation Hyatt.
This is a very unique hotel. First, the staff go above and beyond to make your experience wonderful. It is very conveniently located and everything we needed was in walking distance. Great place to stay!
The hotel is in a great location. It's a cool, different hotel. The staff were top notch. They only offer valet parking at $50 a day so plan for that of you are staying for a while. Overall the place was one of the cooler places I've stayed.
