This place is a unique blend of restaurant and market, offering an abundance of both delicious food and a variety of goods, including a good wine selection. It's the perfect spot for a charming lunch date. The combination of dining options and the market's offerings creates a lovely atmosphere that's both delightful and convenient for a casual meal together.

Botanica is so cute. My friend recommended the Turkish eggs and they were SO flavorful. Just a perfect light breakfast. Staff was warm and friendly and the little shop in front is full of little delights and wines by the bottle. Will definitely be going back.

I had the spicy carrot dip with bread, and it was amazing! Pricing is a bit on the high end but it's a cute little place to hang out with friends!

Fun experience at Botanica! Cute restaurant and great outdoor seating options. We each had a delicious glass of wine. I personally recommend the bubbly! Only downside is we learned that the kitchen isn’t open all day. We arrived around 3/3:30p. I’m always looking for yummy apps!

Visited for a work lunch and I had the vanilla cardamom latte (with cashew & date milk) and Shakshouka. I thought the latte was flavorful and had good taste of cardamom spice and date. The Shakshouka w over easy egg reminded me of a marinara and perhaps lightly salted or spiced because I could only taste the sauce and not even register the eggplant. I enjoyed the side sourdough it came with and even asked for a side order because it was perhaps the most memorable of the dish. Ambiance wise the high ceilings and fans made it feel airy and inviting. The decor was warm pastels and wood so it was pretty relaxing. We dined indoors but they also have an outdoor covered by canopy but I imagine it would have been too warm to do Al fresco today bc it was a warmer day. The market offerings seem interesting with organic wines, jams, infused oils. Overall would revisit for the aesthetic but I would perhaps opt for another menu item to give it a fair shot. The service was hospital and kind for the most part even though it mostly caters to YT folks wc is typical Silverlake. Parking is kinda tight in this area and my coworkers had to circle around a couple minutes before meeting us at the restaurant.

A delightful atmosphere & really extraordinary, creative food! It was the perfect Summer celebration - a meal of all the beautiful Summer flavors & a night at the Greek Theater. The food was bright, flavorful & exceptional. We ordered family style & shared. In my opinion this is always the best way to dine. Each & every dish got a "Wow.. that is amazing" Do not fail yourself & be sure to get desert!

Hip and lovely spot in Silverlake. Covered patio in the back looked stunning but we had a dog with us so we dined at the outdoor patio which was less beautifully appointed but still nice on a sunny day. Food was bright, seasonal, and delicious. Loved my Turkish eggs. Star of the show was definitely the "cake for breakfast" we ordered to share—a polenta almond cake w creme fraiche, mandarin marmalade, and vanilla oil. Would come back for that anytime; that cake and an espresso = happiness.

It cannot be overestimated how good Botanica is. From the food itself, to the market selection in the tiny store at the front to the wine knowledge of the waiters and the excellent selection of wines from around the world to try by the glass or take home… this is my new favorite place to drink and dine in Los Angeles. The white bean hummus with spiced caramelized lamb and a poached egg is one of the best plates of food I have ever had. You can eat it without bread, as it comes, or order a side of their sourdough bread in slices as an accompaniment. Either way, it’s divine!! We visited during Re:Her when they had even more than normal wines made my women winemakers and every glass we tried was superb. We also took home two bottles. Arrive hungry and with a lot of room on your credit card to spend. It will be worth it!

Love, love, love this place. Came here for brunch and left feeling very happy and satisfied over our fantastic meal. We ended up each having two glasses of wine (a Slovakian Orange and a skin-contact Pinot Gris) along with the heirloom bean hummus with caramelized spiced lamb, Turkish eggs and winter tartine. The spiced lamb was fantastic, highly recommend. Even after all of that for two people, we also ordered the cake for breakfast which was a great end to the meal. Our waiter (can’t remember if we ever caught his name) was super knowledgeable with our wine selection and helped us pick up two bottles to take home.

came here for a yummy breakfast on a Sunday!! Wish LA restaurants would start serving ice with water, we sat outside and it was 80 degrees. Super cute vibes!

Huge flavors and food that feels good! Had a great experience dining here, nice wine and cocktail list. We got the yogurt dip to start and was UTTERLY surprised by the amount of flavor packed in there… needed to order a second bread because you gotta get all that yogurt, yo. Salads were lovely and fresh, almost too pretty to eat. Gnocchi was good, not the best but the wine poached halibut was very tasty! Will definitely be back to try more items

The food is good, the environment is nice, and the service is great, but altogether doesn’t quite seem to justify the price point. Overall a decent meal, but overpriced.

I love that they have a simple menu with plenty of vegetarian options. The chicken thigh was actually delicious but I felt that it would have been better with something else on that plate - not sure what and I would still order it again. The cassoulet was the star - the beans were perfect and the chef was so wonderful for coming out to describe her dishes to us, incredible of her to take the time out. Our waitress was really knowledgeable about the dishes and a fun person. We got some scotch whiskey and decided to skip dessert - maybe next time. I loved the mushroom and farro - crispy but not fried or heavy. Their wine selection is solid and they have a great ambience. Not too loud, seating is great with lots of people watching. We found parking out front but if you have trouble park a little further away on the main street because it's a beautiful walk in that neighborhood. Bathroom was clean and no smells of food in the kitchen which is always a plus. They have very high ceiling inside with comfy chairs. Can't wait to go back.
