Upmarket place... Could have more staff to speed up service.
5/17/2023 The ambience is coozy and beautiful. The waitress, Alina from New York, is very friendly.
Will come back for its two-course Lobster dinner at $45.99 per person Monday to Tuesday only soon.
Came here for my birthday with my husband, the food was absolutely fantastic. I had the peppercorn ribeye steak with shoestring fries. The steak was perfectly cooked and tender and the sauce was spot on.
My husband had the lamb shank with couscous and he loved it.
Great wine pour too. Thumbs up!!!!
We had made reservations for 6 people head of time which restaurant was able to accommodate us. Once we arrived and walked in the restaurant was filled with guests. This was my first experience with French cuisine and I have to tell you blew my mind. Plate after plate if food came out and everything was absolutely amazing. Our waiter knew rhe menu very well and was able to help us pick out some delicious items from the menu. I could finally mark off Escargo from my bucket list. It was so soft and tender, filled with so many different tastes. The restaurant was ok with us taking in 6 bottles of wine with us. We had a fantastic time and will definitely come back.
Excellent place! My wife and I visited on our Anniversary and were quite pleased. We ordered the crispy duck, muscles, French onion soup, and soufflé. Everything was cooked perfectly. The duck changed my life and the muscles were in a marinade that was sip-worthy. It seems the ambiance would normally be nicer—excluding the COVID days—since we ate on a busy sidewalk. It was as good as they could make it, I’m convinced. Please go there and then tell me if your own moment of Enlightenment. Highly recommend.
Amazing place small and very welcoming. The food was amazing we had 4 different appetizers 2 entrees and 2 dessert of course wine as well. Every plate that was served was delicious
An enchanting culinary journey awaits at Le petit Restaurant. This hidden gem in Los Angeles captures the essence of French gastronomy with its carefully curated menu and impeccable attention to detail. The dishes are beautifully presented, and each bite is a harmonious symphony of flavors. The staff's knowledge and passion for French cuisine add an extra touch of elegance to the dining experience.
I had the pleasure of dining at Le petit Restaurant last night, and it was a gastronomic journey through France. The ambiance was cozy and intimate, reminiscent of a hidden gem in the heart of Montmartre. The service was flawless; our waiter, Sophie, was not only friendly but also well-versed in the menu, guiding us to the most exquisite dishes. The food was a revelation. The Bouillabaisse transported me to the coast of Marseille, and the Crème Brûlée was a perfect ending to a delightful meal. Le Petit Bistro exceeded my expectations in every way possible.
Great food! Great service!
Feels like you're at home, very comfortable and cozy.
Absolutely delicious food. Muscles were out fav. The service was and attentive.
We ordered Paella, spectacular, and lobster crepes, delicious, shared a white chocolate souffle, wonderful. We didn't have drinks or starters. Enjoyed a lovely dinner.
Five stars for the food!!!! Everything was so delicious!!! We couldn't get enough. Although I'd rate them lower on their service. We went on a Sunday night at 6:30 pm and it took just about 30 minutes for our server to come to us
Once he did though, everything was great. He was attentive after that. It wasn't his fault though. For being at capacity, they only had 2 servers for the whole restaurant. They need to hire more staff. When we asked if someone called out, they said no! I'd go back again, mainly for the food.
Warm, friendly place. My 1st time there but felt like I imagined a regular would feel. Staff and food great
Super cute and cozy restaurant with amazing food and super nice servers. Makes you feel like you’re in France again. 100/10 recommend.
Everything we ate was so flavorful and delicious.

UPDATE: Went in for some to-go french fries and Soufflé de Grand Marnier.
The dessert was so good! I will definitely return for dessert. the french fries were so fresh, crispy and hot that it seemed like the recipe changed...Prices were reasonable for the quality. Our server was attentive and helpful for such a modest order.
UPDATE: Dined in for a ribeye dinner. It was good. Customer service could be better.
I just ordered pomme frites. They are so delicious. Best ever.
I’ll dine in for a real meal one day. Menu seems legit, and it’s always packed.
Parking: It’s The Blvd!
Customer service: it’s okay. I usually order over the phone and run in—eat the fries in my car.
Hadn't been back in over 5 years and it was still perfect as to service and food. Their salmon was cooked perfectly and simply grilled rather than coated with a topping I didn't prefer. Their chocolate soufflé is very popular and can be shared ...if you can tear it away from the person who ordered it! I remember they were known for their Lamb chops and Crispy Duck which are still popular on their menu. Reservations are necessary at least on a week-end.
Cute Red Cozy Lil french restaurant smack in the middle of popular S.O. I highly suggest that you make reservations. Appetizers come out as quickly as ordered. Eggplant tart, blue crab cakes, and 1/2 dozen escargot w/pesto lots of butter. Service is outstanding! For my Entree, I baked lamb shank with couscous and carrots. Lamb shank was delicious tender meat that fell right off the bone. My girlfriends had the white Chilean sea bass. We finished off with an orange souffle which was creamy and sweet.
Excellent semi small place. Good French food. Semi- expensive.
Moderate price range. Can dress casual.
