Love the sandwiches here! Favorite is the soppressata salami. Sooo good. Even the cornichons and olives that come with the sandwiches are so delicious!
You can also call and order sandwiches ahead of time and they'll have them ready for you to pick up at the register.

Really friendly staff. Amazing cheese and Californian wines! And for all you British people like me... They even sell Heinz baked beans!
On one of my latest trips to LA, my brother and sister took Dennis and I to Larchmont Village Wine, Spirits and Cheese . Although it doesn’t sound like it, this local store makes sandwiches. The Shut-Up-and-Give-it-to-Me-Quick Version: Winner. Great sandwiches, quick service. Hours Mon – Sat 10 am – 7 pm Serve sandwiches from 11 am - 5 pm (or until bread runs out) Closed Sundays The I-Like-to-be-Wrapped-Up-in-All-the-Details Version: This small, narrow shop is packed with wines and at the back they boast a selection of deli meats and cheeses (this is where they make the sandwiches). Four women take orders behind the counter, quickly and efficiently. Once you order, walk back to the front and pay at the register. What we ate: Soppressata Salami ($7.50) Italian Prosciutto ($9) Thoughts? Both sandwiches were delicious, I liked the salami sandwich better because the prosciutto and mozzarella didn’t pack as much flavor. You must add the sundried tomato spread to any sandwich, it’s delicious! If there was something I had to critique it would be that while it is very well served, the bread to filling ratio was a bit off. I loved the bread, it’s fluffy and crispy without being chewy or hard, but it ends up being just a little thick for what’s inside. I felt that the price was very reasonable for the amount that you get. The sandwiches are thin, but long making them very filling. If you are in the area. I would definitely recommend it. It’s great for lunch or on the weekend when you’re headed to a clippers game, as we were.
Slide up to the gourmet deli counter (and usually wait on a long line - luckily we came at the right time, 11:45)… …and place a half/whole order on your choice of either ciabatta or baguette (both are wonderful) I opted for the latter - a full order of the #6 (vegan!)…
One of the best place for sandwiches. I had no idea until somebody told me, this is the best place for sandwiches. Everybody comes here for the sandwiches. It's not cheap, but their sandwiches are really good. I love my sandwich with ciabatta bread. This place gets busy during lunch time, and I think they are open until 7pm . You can also buy yummy Twelve centimeter 's macarons here. menu Blueberry pop #2 Imported black forest ham with Italian ciabatta bread $4.25 Imported black forest ham, mixed greens, black olive tapenade, extra virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar #5 Imported Italian prosciutto with Italian ciabatta bread $5 Imported Italian prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, arugula, extra virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar #5 Imported Italian prosciutto with Italian ciabatta bread $9 Imported Italian prosciutto, arugula, extra virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar #7 tuna salad sandwich with french baguette $8.50 Fresh homemade tuna salad, mixed greens, tomato, extra virgin olive oil &
Great fresh sandwiches. Price point very reasonable. Only two tables out front, so that could use improvement. People working were friendly enough. Would recommend.
A college roommate of mine originally from LA introduced me to the sandwiches here more than a decade ago and I been making the drive whenever I can to get my hands on them. Come early, the sandwiches are sold until they run out of bread. And speaking of bread this is perhaps one of the controversial aspect that you are seeing in the reviews. Yes they are “hard chewy” but it’s exactly what makes the sandwiches great for me. The sandwiches are relatively simple made with quality ingredients, yet the “hardness” of the bread adds a layer of complexity - stimuli from added texture in every bite. My go to is the salami but I have tried the others in the menu and they all been satisfying to me. There is no dine-in option, however there are a few tables outside if you can grab one. Parking is a challenge but if you drive a little further down the avenue, finding some street parking in the residential area is easy.
Great neighborhood wine shop with sandwiches during lunchtime. Highly recommend if you need some helping picking out that special holiday bottle. Store could up its friendliness game especially if they want more sales. Parking is public parking lot right across street or on the side streets near Larchmont which is 2 hour parking.
The best sandwiches on the block. Also a wonderful selection of treats and beverages. My girlfriend and I love the #4 and #7 . Highly recommended.
I really really really wanted to LOVE their sandwich. I got their roasted Turkey breast sandwich, which is one of their more popular options. And honestly, it was solid. But i was a little overwhelmed. The bread wasn’t as good as I’d hoped it’d be, the outside of the baguette was a little stiff and stale. And I went during peak lunch hour on a Saturday. Considering I waited about 30 minutes, I don’t know if I’d go again. There are soo many good sandwich shops all over LA. But cute shop! If there’s a short line, I’d like to try another sandwich in the future.
Best Sandwich for a Healthy Sandwich!! I enjoyed the #6 Vegetable Sandwich!! Which is healthy and delicious!! I also enjoy the Roasted Turkey Breast Sandwich!! And I also enjoy the Mozzarella Sandwich!!
Sandwiches were delicious and not too expensive i ordered the turkey on the baguette. Wine selection looks great too.
Great neighborhood sandwich spot. Has a great selection of imported European snack items, candy, bread sticks, dried goods, but we all know it's about the sandwiches. Great options, and speedy service. If you order ahead they will have your order ready at the front, because the lines can get very long.
Only reason for the 4 instead of 5 star is because I have had some moldy/stale products from their refrigerated section on a couple occasions. I usually would come back and would get a replacement or credit toward something else.
Wine selection is great too, and they have some hard to find whiskeys (although at a premium given the market).
Over the years of being in the neighborhood they have been quite consistent.
I've been grabbing sandwiches here for many years like countless others. Everything is solid, except the freshness of the baguette varies. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. Five stars all day if they ever care enough to figure this out.
I lived nearby from this place, and my old office was also nearby on Wilshire Blvd - going to Larchmont Village was good choice to have a lunch. There was people waiting outside of the door for ordering the amazing sandwich. Once they run out of bread for the day, they’re done so don’t be surprised if there is long line when you get there. I usually order the fresh salami banquette sandwich was always delicious. The shop also sells wines and nice variety of cheese.
Meter parking can be hard to find during lunch hour. Try parking on the side streets otherwise you might be circling around for the parking space.
Some of the best sandwiches in the area if not in LA. Come early as they run out quickly.
Extremely well curated wine selection and excellent sandwiches! THE BEST OF LA

One of my favorite sandwich spots in LA! You will not go back to your OG sandwich spot. Not only can you get some delicious sandwiches you can also get some wine to compliment the sandwich! Get here now!
This wine and cheese store is actually a robust sandwich shop. Sandwiches are reasonably priced relative to the quality and size they offer: “large” is literally large. Usually, line gets formed in the peak lunch time, but it will only be about 5 minute wait standing. They receive phone call orders as well. Pickle and olive come with the sandwich. It is a neighborhood gem. You always have a ton of public and street parking spots everywhere. Street parking is busy most of times. If all filled, you can park next streets in the neighborhood (which is always empty) and walk a few minutes.

Although I was just a delivery driver making a delivery, my interaction with Jessie solidified me coming back as a customer. Thank you, Jessie, for being extremely friendly and helpful. Your kindness does not go unrecognized. You are a gem. I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a great selection of wine and friendly service.
My fav sandwich shop! A #3 for me please. I can count on one hand the number of times I've been first in line or even close. I've tried different times too. Perhaps the best way would be to order by phone, maybe I'll try that one of these days. But I enjoy going to the village too.
Amazing the number of quality sandwiches they put together for so many customers in line or phone in orders. They also stock a selection of other food items as well, along with a large selection of wines. Visit their website to see their selection of wines or stop by the shop.
Parking (or driving) on Larchmont Blvd. is often a challenge, so consider parking on the north side of Beverly Blvd instead of in the busy village area. I ride my bicycle so its never a problem.
