I was visiting LA and stayed on the UCLA campus. Needed a place to finish up with some work after dinner and Elyseewas the perfect place. Solid iced coffee and vibes. Will be back next time in town.

It was expensive but came with a lot of food so you definitely get the bang for your buck. I got the egg and bacon sandwich which was really good and came with potatoes which I loved. There’s tables to sit outside too which is nice, we were able to sit there for hours because it wasn’t crowded

Staff was extremely accommodating. I was sending a cake via DoorDash and they immediately called me to clarify the order to ensure it was to my liking. They also wrote a note for the birthday gift. Great staff!! Thank you!

We had a sandwich with grilled veggies—cold sandwich, good quality bread, cheese but the grilled eggplant was undercooked, flavorless, rubbery and they had raw mushrooms in there as well. Rest of the veggies were fine, the recipe just needs a little tweaking. Latte tasted burnt, couldn’t finish. I think if you go to this place just for the desserts, you’ll probably be fine tho, we didn’t try them but they looked amazing.

Great brunch or breakfast place. Th coffee is so-so but the food is tasty. The pastries are good as well with enough variety. A little pricey from what it used to be (~$20 a full meal), but it is comparable to other places in the area anf similar quality.

A wonderful place for desserts and drinks. From their seasonal pastries to their standards every single item in their case is decadent. Their handcrafted hot chocolate as well as their Italian sodas are absolutely delicious. A must try, you will come back, guaranteed!!!

Such a nice place to hang out, study or just enjoy the variety of food items. They have a wide selection of desserts. The tables are very close to each other but there are plenty of tables. The parking can be a problem and there are few tables on the curb

Best spot near UCLA for breakfast. Coffees are good and tasty. The omelettes take some time to cook but they're done very well. Portion size is great, enough for 2 people to share a breakfast.

The food quality compared to the price is great. The pastry is fresh and you get a bunch of options. One drawback, if I may, is the service quality. There are no defined roles for the staff. Therefore, you might wait several minutes to order because every staff member is attending everything and there is a little chaos when it gets crowded. I think it could improve drastically if, say, one employee could be in charge of taking orders only, while others have their own respective roles.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday and everything was great. I had the eggs benny and a cappuccino and everything tasted great. The pride seems high, but their portions justify it. My benny came with a croissant, potatoes, and fresh fruit. Staff were super friendly as well! And the environment is very relaxing!

Definitely this fruit cake was yummy my sister bought it to celebrate a special occasion and our family definitely enjoyed it. They made this fruit cake with a lot of love because the detail on it was just lovely. It had a chocolate crust on the bottom and I just enjoyed every bit of it. Nice job and will be going back soon.

Great cakes and a very friendly service! They helped reserve a readymade cake on last minute notice and held it for me.

Do not go here for customer service, they’re quite rude. We go back for the breakfast though. The brunch is excellent and the potatoes are buttery and crispy fried… quite something.
