Brothers sushi serves the highest quality fish. I consider it the best sushi place in the west valley. If you tend to prefer fancy rolls then brothers is not the place for you, they only have 3 or 4 special rolls.

The best restaurant I’ve been to in the past year. Exceptional! The food is incredible, the service is amazing, and the location is lovely. Probably the best sushi I’ve ever had. Their sushi is perfectly prepared; it feels like you’re in Japan. There’s nothing else to say except that if you want to experience something unique and unbelievable, you need to try this restaurant. A solid 5 out of 5 stars!

I recently dined for the first time at Brothers Sushi in Woodland Hills, CA, suggested by a local friend, and sharing my experience 🍣. Hidden in an unassuming yet charming spot, this is a delightful find for sushi lovers. Brothers Sushi takes pride in its array of seasonal fish imported directly from Japan, offering specialties like dry-aged bluefin tuna, Ora King Salmon from New Zealand. Looks to me that their commitment to sourcing not only the freshest but also some rare varieties of fish sets them apart. In my opinion, these are unseen in most Los Angeles sushi spots. Each dish is a creative and unique celebration of flavor, tantalizing the taste buds. They also have a large, high-quality selection of sake 🍶. Woodland Hills might not be on everyone's radar, but Brothers Sushi is definitely worth the trip. Whether you're a local or coming from further afield, the memory of their exquisitely crafted sushi will stay with you long after your meal. This top-notch culinary experience has me looking forward to my next visit. It's smart to make a reservation or at least call ahead to check availability – and rightly so, as I found out it's featured in the MICHELIN GUIDE 2023 🌟. Be prepared, though; it's a bit pricey. But, it's an investment in a memorable dining experience! 💸👌

A simple place with very fresh fish, traditional flavors, lovely presentation. They have indoor and covered terrace seating. The menu is varied with cooked and raw seafood, as well as meats, poultry and vegetables.

Awesome full omakase with TEN courses, including nigiri highlighting their dry-aged fish which was flavorful and a good variety of six pieces along the various courses. The matcha Basque cheesecake was ethereal and truly delicious way to wrap up the series. Service was good and the food was great. Wish I had more room to try more of the wine and sake. Had a great glass of sauvignon blanc that helped round out a wonderful dining experience. Gladly recommend that folks consider the full omakase to savor the glorious food at Brothers Sushi.

Boyfriend and I went for the omakase and it was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. It's been about a month since we went and I still think about the food I ate there. Stuff was fantastic. Explained all the dishes. Everything is tasty and I mean EVERYTHING. One of the dishes (the one served in like a martini type glass) had this green leafy vegetable on top. I thought it was a garnish but no. I ate it and it was seriously delicious. Idk how they seasoned it or prepared it but it was very good. Loved this place.

Brothers sushi is probably the best sushi in the entire valley. We ordered many different dishes and each and everyone of the dishes were spectacular and tasted so fresh just melted in your mouth. I highly recommend brother sushi.

One of my favorite omakase experiences in LA in the last few years. Genuinely mostly sushi. If I was to nitpick their ginger was uneven and the first tomato/sashimi dish could use better tomatoes. The fish is delish, service is outstanding and the design and ambience is contemporary and fresh. Parking lot.

Chef Mark and his team do a fantastic job at this neighborhood sushi restaurant. The menu is full of interesting and seasonal items. But you do pay for the creative and fresh fish dishes. However, their take away chirashi is imo one of the best deals around with multiple slices of toro and uni.

Great food, and our server was amazing. Only issue was a bit of a disagreement with management over the bill, but it was sorted. Veggie options are very limited, basic, and expensive.

My girlfriend and I have been coming to brother's sushi few times now and this is our favorite restaurant. We like that chefs are constantly evolving and offering new creative ways to enjoy sushi. brothers modern omakase was voted the best of LA and we think it is well deserved. Every dish we had so far is well thought out to be pleasing to the eye and delicious in the mouth. I think the fact they offer something different each time is the reason why we usually opt for modern omakase. If you want a great date night, go to brother sushi, order modern omakase for two and a bottle of Ken.

Disclaimer: I'm not a foodie and have desire to be. Yes, I took a few pictures while at Brothers, but only because 1. We were celebrating a birthday and 2. It's the fanciest sushi place I've ever been. Otherwise, I'm not someone to take pictures of my food; I like to eat food. I should probably also add that this review comes from the perspective of someone who rarely splurges on food. I'm the type of person to decline a fountain drink because "we have drinks at home". Having said that; even if Google hadn't chased me down to review Brothers Sushi, I likely would have. It was a food experience like I've never had before. Like I said, we went for my birthday, so my girlfriend suggested that we buckle in and go for the Omakase--you know that thing in movies where the rich people just tell the chef to give them whatever is good? It's pretty much that. I won't list every name and detail of each course we had, but I will say: after finishing the first offering (a baby kale salad featuring scallops, shaved truffles, some type of mushroom I've never had, and aged persimmon with a miso dressing), I had to text my chef buddy like "ohhh ok bro, I get it now". If you would have told me before we went that we would be spending as much as we did, for roughly half the portions of sushi that I typically shovel down my throat at the local sushi restaurant, I'd likely have told you that you're out of your mind... But both my girlfriend and I left that place glowing and floating and full, as glad that we went there as if we had just visited some new country or listened to our favorite band in concert for our first time. This place is special. I'm going to save up and go again ASAP.

One of my favorite sushi spots in the valley, maybe even the best. The appetizers were creative and way more delicious than even expected, plus they serve the best piece of kohada that I have ever had. Little touches such as moist towelettes and a basket for your stuff (not to mention a bidet in the gender neutral bathrooms) really make you feel welcomed and pampered. And the service, wow! Splurge on one of the Omakase options - trust me, it's worth it.
