I love this place not only great food but the staff is amazing. I hate to admit we eat her at least twice a week.
The food is Better than I expected and way better than the few places around my house. My only disappointment is that I only found them today. Service was quick and the food was done right.
It's like I found a needle in the haystack!. The food was delicious!. The service was good. It's a very small and quaint restaurant. The Tarzana location is walking distance from my home. I will return!. Oh yeah, it's VERY affordable.

We were looking for an authentic Italian restaurant for a small family group to celebrate a couple of birthdays. We needed to eat a little earlier than the average dinner time, so we were looking for a place that was open before 5 pm. Thankfully, Frankie's was open at 4 pm. We could make same-day reservations, and because we went before the dinner rush, we had the whole place to ourselves! There is a choice to dine on the beautiful patio or inside, where it is nicely decorated, and Italian music plays quietly to set the tone. Everyone raved about their order choices. Lasagna, Chicken Piccata, Eggplant Parmesan, Raviolis, and Pizza, it was all delicious. The antipasto salad was a little different since they give it to you all chopped up. However, it was still good. One of the biggest hits were the garlic bread rolls. Give Frankie's a try, and hopefully, you will get Carol as your waitress. She was absolutely amazing!
Absolutely delicious food. Both the salad and minestrone are yummy. I highly recommend the Chicken Picata. My friend enjoyed her Chicken Marsala. Attentive service. Authentic Spumoni, I haven't had as good since Italy. Delightful date or family dining space.
Stopped in here for the first time and loved it. The hostess was great and recommended the mushroom ravioli, it was sooo good. My friend ordered a pizza and it was really good too. The garlic bread they bring you before dinner is the devil!! I couldn't stop eating them. Our waiter was super nice and very attentive to our needs. The atmosphere is super chill and nice. I will definitely be going back.
Really good food. I mean REALLY good. I ordered the primavera fettuccine (seasoned fettuccini noodles with veggies) and was totally shocked at how good the plate was. Not too oily, perfectly seasoned with plenty of fresh vegetables. The lentil soup was tasty, and the bread rolls they give out at the beginning of the meal were INSANE. They aren’t your basic wheat bread roll with hard butter. No, these are the softest garlic bread knots you have EVER eaten. You will dream about these rolls for weeks after, they are that good.
Parking is lot parking, the employees- - mainly Latinx- are personable and helpful. I do hope Frankie’s treats them well. The seating area is clean and intimate. I literally hope Frankie’s doesn’t change a thing. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the atmosphere is friendly yet classy. Definitely recommend.

We love taking the whole family to dinner at Frankie's! My favorite dish is the drunken pasta with spaghetti squash instead of pasta. We ate there tonight for the gazillionth time, and our server was extra good tonight. We've never had a bad experience with anything at Frankie's. Tonight We had 2 babies and a 5 year old with us, and the server was very attentive and kind as well as super cautious not to place any hot plates near the kids. You would think this would be common knowledge, but I've been to other restaurants where they just tell you this is hot and then proceed to put a hot plate close to a child. We recommend Frankie's for great food, great service, and a super friendly atmosphere!
If you are someone who's looking for a great pasta place, Frankie's Italian Kitchen is the one for you. Their Meatball and Marinara was so good! Ambiance was also great and their good costumer service.
Chicken Marsalis is delicious & the pasta is yum! Seating was outdoors in covered area. It was pretty hot outside the day I went. The waiter (very nice) did his best to keep everyone happy. The service was just painfully slow for a lunch visit.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!!!! Frankie’s Italian Kitchen is a family owned restaurant that has been in the same location for 30 years, and I have no idea how we have missed it for so long! The food, staff & service were all PHENOMINAL!! We had such a FANTASTIC experience at dinner, that we came back the very next day for Lunch!
Carol (the ROCKSTAR with the red hair), was so wonderful and accommodating. She was the first person I spoke to when I called for a reservation, and she was just as pleasant in person as she was in the phone! The other waitress Karen, was great and super nice as well! Rodrigo, our busboy was very attentive, and made sure our glasses were always full and we had everything we needed.
Now on to the food! Everything is made to order, and you can taste it!
The food came out fresh and piping hot!!!
I was so impressed with their selectons. They had many choices, covering all dietary restrictions, including Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free!
The garlic rolls and homemade balsamic and ranch dressings are to die for!
I've tasted 5 dishes so far, and they were all
5 Stars!!! ☆☆☆☆☆ I highly recommend:

First time trying and the service was great. Food was decent. The garlic bread was on the sweeter side for my taste but we were able to get regular rolls that were nice and fluffy. Definitely will go back to try more of the menu!
First the ambiance puts out volumes of at home warmth, feeling like I'm in my own large living room and that crystal fireplace is on.But the smells that are so fragrant from garlic and onion and flour coming from that kitchen well...
I love this place. From the garlic knots to the pasta to the pizza Every dish is exquisite. Reminds me of my Italian stepfather. A very bold and delicious way of cooking. Makes for a very bold and delicious way of eating. Lol. This restaurant is a must try. Don't even hesitate.

My mom and I love coming here, especially for lunch. Staff are welcoming, polite, and strike up a conversation even if you've never been there before. The restaurant is always clean and it's aesthetically pleasing. For a two-person meal, it's reasonably priced. Food is always fresh and warm. Will be spending my 21st birthday here.

Lionel, the owner is friendly and accommodating with reservations. I've taken family and friends there for hreat Italian food.
Since COVID, they now have an outdoor patio, which is so nice in good weather. Whenever I'm in the area on the go, I call ahead to order my favorite salad.
