I came here on a whim after walking at the reservoir craving pasta and a nice glass of wine. They have happy hour 4-6 for drinks only. The outdoor patio was lovely and the wait staff were very friendly. I sort of made my own pasta order and they were very accommodating. For a Thursday night, we didn’t wait for a table and found parking surprisingly easily given the small lot onsite. The portions were great and I found the prices to be reasonable.

The pastas are good here! Sitting out on the patio is nice, and I enjoy their sangrias. Their gnocchi is always great to get. The mushroom sauce is good!

Michelangelo is a good restaurant because of several reasons. Firstly, the quality of the food is exceptional. The chefs use fresh, high-quality ingredients and traditional cooking techniques to create delicious and authentic Italian dishes. The menu is diverse and offers a range of options, from classic pasta dishes to seafood and meat entrees. Secondly, the restaurant has a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The decor is stylish and elegant, but not pretentious. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the owners take pride in ensuring that their guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Thirdly, the owners of Michelangelo are actively involved in running the restaurant. This means that they are hands-on with the day-to-day operations, including managing the kitchen, overseeing the staff, and interacting with customers. Their commitment to the restaurant's success is evident in the quality of the food and service. Finally, Michelangelo has a reputation for excellence. The restaurant has been recognized by food critics and customers alike for its exceptional cuisine and service. This has helped to build a loyal customer base, who return time and time again to enjoy the restaurant's offerings. Overall, Michelangelo is a good restaurant because of its exceptional food, welcoming atmosphere, dedicated owners, and reputation for excellence.

My neck of the woods! Been there a long time ago and enjoyed it. Decided to go today for a late lunch / early dinner and so glad we did: the place is very nice and warm with a home feeling. The service absolutely friendly and kind. And the food… delicious and enough to take home and eat again. Moderately priced. In short: highly recommended ❤️

First time here and YOU have to go! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. The food was even better what we had in Italy last year !! Considering the quality, the price was very reasonable. The staff is always ready to help and super friendly.

Decent pasta, but nothing to write home about. We had four different dishes and they were all decent. Not bad, but none of them great. I'd give 3.5 stars if possible.

Super super good comfort Italian. One of the reasons why I love LA is for restaurants like Michaelangelo that surprise you with flavors and dishes. Must come back! Enjoyable friendly staff :) special thanks to Dev. 😎 who made our night extra special!

Michelangelo is the go-to Italian restaurant in Silver Lake. I like it because you can always count on the consistency. We used to order and pick up food during the pandemic. They followed protocol to the latter. Lots of restaurants were closed in our neighborhood during that bleak time. However Michelangelo marched on! I feel very at home there. They make you feel that way. I love the delicious pizzas. And the tuna sandwich with soup and salad is one of my lunchtime favorites. The sandwich is soooo delicious! You'll love this spot. I like to sit outdoors. Its refreshing! They deliver directly from the restaurant and offer easy takeout. Free parking!

Nice place for a family dinner and Italian ambiance. The wine and desserts are pretty fancy so make room for some . You get all the Italian favorites and then some . So come out and try this place out.

They have amazing food and great service. Expect to pay for that--this isn't a cheap place to eat but it is well worth it for a special occasion.

Whether you live in LA, or are just visiting, Michelangelo Ristorante needs to be on your list of places to eat at! The food is fairly priced for being homemade, the owners are Italian and you can appreciate the love they have for the restaurant/service, along with the waiters. I had the opportunity of eating there 3 times during my 5 day trip to LA. The Gnocchi (with Porcini Mushroom) and Ravioli (with Vodka Sauce) are my personal favorite, both are homemade, along with the sauce of your choice which is also homemade and fresh! Had the Bruschetta as an appetizer and it was one of the best bruschettas I've ever had, simple yet so fresh and satisfying. Also tried the Fried Raviloi and it was good, I prefer the regular Ravioli. The Stracciatella soup was good, hands down 5 stars if you like egg style soups. Finally for dessert, we had to try the Cannoli and the Panna Cotta, along with a cappuccino. The cannoli was delicious, I usually never eat Cannoli because I don't care much for the allspice and cinnamon, but this cannoli didn't have much which for me was perfect! The Panna Cotta was sooo flavorful and delicious, it melted in your mouth! One plus is that they offer gluten free and vegetarian options... Again, if you are in the area, you have to try this place at least once to get your own appreciation. I will come back next time I'm in LA. (PS - I am not the best at taking food pics, rather just enjoy it!)

Friendly service, great food. Valet parking or street parking. They were nice enough to make my kids some yummy macaroni and cheese, even though it's not on the menu. Supper yummy desserts!
