It's one of the best and most reasonably priced restaurants in Hollywood. Great service and big round booths for the 5 people we come with, and no rush job. This place is always busy and we have hung out there sometimes till 2am when Kevin Kelly performed at the Sabor Cafe down the block! Also nice portions so you don't leave hungry!

I have been dining at Torung for over 20 years (right?) and have never been disappointed. I don't know how they produce so much delicious authentic "better than in Thailand" a traveling friend told me, faire. I would like to gut the interior and give it a state of the art makeover with rooftop dining, while infusing some of the recipes from a famed Berkeley Thai restaurant. But for now I am grateful to know that a zippy green curry veggies with rice for $5.95 awaits me!

My family has eaten here once a week for about ten years we are all addicted to the spicey seafood soup and my son can eat two orders of the chicken saute himself... this got me through both pregnancies. Love the staff open 5 pm to 3 am. Park across the street at gas station

Definitely one of my favorite places to get Thai food when I’m in the area. Especially late at night . The parking is a little bit rough but it’s worth the walk if you find parking up towards Franklin. The employees are always super kind even if I take up a table for one just to order some spring rolls. Pretty much everything on the menu is delicious. Highly recommend as a late night spot after hitting the bars or clubs.

Excellent Thai food at very good prices. 10/17/22: Had the fried fish with chili garlic sauce. Was perfectly fried and the sauce had a great fresh flavor. 10/20/22: Had the War soup which is a Thai Chinese soup. Great flavor especially when you add some of their vinegary hot sauce. I like that they serve it in a special bowl with a fire to keep it hot. Fried banana was very good too. 3/9/23: Had the Tom Kha with chicken, medium spiciness. Was good but they only put chicken, lemongrass, basil and green chilies. Would be nice if they put some vegetables in there.

The food was good. We enjoyed every bite. But in the other hand they only take cash. They don’t tell you in the beginning So we had trouble paying them. This place gets really really busy and crowded. Avoid Friday, Saturday and Sunday if you don’t like to eat in a crowded place.

The food is amazing as always it has been for years. I've been going since college and some of the waitresses are still there. There is a long wait ✋️ to be seated because it's really popular but totally worth it

Delicious food, good quantity and best service. All this for a very reasonable price. Be sure to try their tasty soup and fresh rolls. Also, something to note, they only take cash. And the great thing is they are open late.

Fantastic Thai food! Loved their special sauce for the fresh rolls. Pad See U, Torung Noodles have excellent flavor and the portions are HUGE! The red curry is phenomenal. It was steadily busy and you can tell it's a local favorite! Bring Cash! They don't take cards!

Well I’m here on the boulevard Hollywood Boulevard normally I pick my Thai food up on Melrose but this place is open late same servers for over 25 years traditional Thai food I love the booths but especially the spicy curry prices are fair they do have Thai tea and open late do you have to park outside on the boulevard

This restaurant is hidden gem. I've been to Thailand many times and the food here is pretty authentic & surprisingly very good. Pad thai and Panang curry are the bomb. Price is so cheap :) most of them are under $10 They don't serve alcohol :( Parking can be challenging since it's located on Hollywood Blvd.

Been coming to this wonderful place for decades and the food is STILL as good as it was, over 30 years ago!! 😋 So many items to choose from for all tastes, whether u eat pork, beef, chicken, duck, fish, shrimp, crab, tofu or veggies... there's something for EVERYONE! **I'm not sure about the accommodations for folks with certain food allergies, but I would ask first before going, if I were u. Just call & ask, the employees are nice. And there's no long wait for your food, either!!! Fresh, hot and pretty quick!! Oh and did I mention DEEEEELISHIS??!! 😋 ALL the curries and soups are tasty!! I love the Torung noodles with tofu, the egg rolls, Tom Yum soup with veggies, pad kee mow with tofu and many other scrumptious offerings. Good customer service as well❤️ ⚠️ Also please know ⚠️ THIS PLACE IS CASH ONLY, so go to the ATM before coming here!!! I repeat: GO TO THE ATM AND GET CASH before going here!!

My favorite Thai food place in Los Angeles now has outdoor patio seating. Before, you could only order to - go, due to the pandemic, and I missed so much eating at Torung. But about 3 weeks ago they started their Patio service. It's on the back side of the of the restaurant, entrance is on Wilton St. They have safe measures, they take your temperature, ask to apply hand sanitizer and only seat a maximum of 6 people. The patio is very nice decorated....with cloth - ceiling, ambient lights give a cool vibe, decoration plants, and a speaker that plays radio - hits. There is about 10 tables. Staff is very friendly (as always) and the food is amazing!!! Since they open I have gone 5 times!!! And plan to head out there every weekend. If your looking to go out...feel like having some Thai food.. visit Torung!! They operate daily from 5p to 10p
