Best happy hour around. Free hors devours tray passed mon-fri 5:00-7:00. The lounge is chill and you get great friendly service. Great place to watch games. The food is delicious and the specials are always fantastic. One of the last great steakhouses around.
Was my first time there Saturday night and we got there at 7 and there was no wait nice atmostfer great food we had a bost cut steak that was so soft and juciy and split pea soup that was great. Fast service can't wait to go again
Had a really good birthday dinner here a few days ago with a couple friends. I haven't been in here in quite a while. The service was great The food was amazing and the contemporary fun music they played wasn't too loud and we can talk. I had the filet medium rare it was perfectl. Sauteed spinach with garlic was very good. And the dirty martini definitely hit the spot. I know this place has been here for quite a while and maybe they've done some updates but I really had a good time and like the place. I think you should come by sit at the bar for a drink maybe a meal or make some reservations with friends or even a party. They do have valet parking for a dollars, or there is plenty of street parking around. Cheers
This is an old classic and we’ve been there many times. However, I finally decided to give a review because the dinner we had was so good! I think the pictures speak for themselves but the burrata filet was out of this world !! And the bread pudding should not be legal😳😋😍 We sit at the bar at most of our dinners and the bar does not disappoint 🍸🎉
Fabulous but pricey experience. Glad I spent the $$$$ but I will be more reserved next time. $198. 2 x martinis, Delmonico NY Steak, side of creamed spinach and meatball appetizer.
Bartender was great and very friendly. The staff all were very busy but very good at service.
Probably was the best steak dinner I may ever had. Sauces were made in house and amazing with main course. Steak was cooked perfectly, first time in a long time at a restaurant that every single thing i ordered was meticulously made so good! Very comfortable and rich atmosphere well suited for such a fine experience.
NY was perfect. Chilli was outstanding, scalloped potatoes are not to be missed. Make sure the staff hears you properly....I got anchovies and I don't like them!! Other than that, it was a wonderful evening! You won't be sorry
O. M. G. Amazing food, excellent service by Rob. The Prime Rib Eye was to die for… tender, flavorful and juicy. Cooked to perfection. The sides were great, the corn was bomb. Sea-bass melts in your mouth. And lastly the Penne Bolognese was super. Highly recommended, definitely a place to celebrate, not for the faint of heart for your wallet. Totally worth it.
The crab legs are to die for. The shrimp Monty is a must try. The Steaks are prime cuts. Good wine list, Champagne, full bar. The family has always prepared the highest quality foods. Although the Woodland Hills restaurant is elegant, I do miss the old Encino location. Spendy but worth it! One of my all time favorite dining establishments. A quiet romantic night can be enjoyed at Monty's.
Love this spot hasn’t changed in 15 years. Feels like something out of an old mob movie. Never disappointed.

Met with two friends here for a "thank you" dinner. The reservation was quick via OpenTable (same day). The location was easy to find and had no issue with street parking, however there is a valet service available.
The hostess sat us as we arrived and the waitress took our drink/app orders while we trickled in. Once we were all present, she presented us with a delicious specials menu. The food and drinks came out very promptly and the waitress was quick to check in to ensure we were all satisfied. I had a bone-in filet that was cooked to my specifications with monstrous onion rings on the side. The Manhattan I ordered was also delicious. Lastly, the NY Cheesecake really hit the spot.
Overall, I highly recommend checking Monty's for good food and drink with family/friends. The service was great and the atmosphere was relaxed.
Our server, Madonna, was the epitome of the word "service." She was exceptionally professional while maintaining an attitude of personable. I can get a great steak at many places. Yet this woman's service would draw me back to Monty's.

We were visiting from Seattle we came to Monty's to celebrate my daughter's Graduation from Pepperdine. Monty's was great, super friendly staff, and great atmosphere. The steaks were huge and delicious but you have to order sides separately. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp but had to add linguini to make it a meal. The busser accidentally spilled steak sauce on my son's white shirt. The manager came over offered to pay to have the shirt dry cleaned and/or reimburse us for the shirt. Then he gave us 3 different desserts, espresso Martini and dessert wine. The customer service displayed by the manager, Jorge our waiter and the whole staff was unbelievably above and beyond anything I have encountered. Please visit Monty's if you're ever in the Woodlawn Hills area or celebrating a special occasion. Thank you for your hospitality Monty's. We will definitely be back.

We were so impressed with the outdoor dining setup tonight. Perfect service, perfect food, wonderful company. For a little while we could forget about the pandemic and the election and just enjoy a night out with dear friends and family. Priceless.
