Nicely crispy and tasty brick oven pizza. Large portion Caesar salad. Both the salad and pizza were enough for two. Beer was pricey and better going with wine.

wood is a very small intimate little spot in silver lake area. service was very good throughout the night, I was impressed by how helpful they were. first impression was right when walking in you're greeted! felt very welcoming. seating inside is limited (we made a reservation) but it does appear to have lots of seating outside. we ordered the truffle pizza, meatball pasta & the carbonara. the truffle pizza was the best thing we got. cheese was so fresh! we were shocked. The pasta were good, nothing crazy! but the price was very high in my opinion for the amount you're getting. In total for 3 food items & 3 drinks (a beer & 2 wines) it was around $170. Which seemed high to be. the truffle pizza would be the reason I go back and try other items!

This is a nice spot with really good food. They often have a wait if you go at typical meal times but they do take reservations. The pizzas are exceptional. The Khachapuri is not offered a lot of places but when it is would be hard to beat this one. If you like bread, cheese, and a runny yolk this pizza is a must. The caeser salad is good to share. The staff is always nice and helpful. They also have a good deal in the early afternoons especially for take out. Definitely will keep coming back.

By far one of the best carbonara pastas ! The handmade noodles make such a big difference. And the pancetta with the egg yolk had such bold flavors and was so creamy.

I was a little surprised by the prices of the pasta (a little on the higher side), but I guess with inflation everything is a lot more expensive. Pizza was good. Portion for the pasta was a bit small. But the favorite was the banana cream pie. Don’t sit near the restrooms! The smell is pretty strong

A good pizza and pasta joint in Silverlake. Inside has some tables. The patio is nice too. Got the sausage pizza and carbonara and they were good. Decent service. There's street parking or a small lot in the back.

Very nice location with Parking available behind the restaurant. This is great. Parking can be difficult in that area. Nice decor, good music playing. The food was very good. I tried the caprese salad, mushroom and sausage pizzas. Fresh, crunchy dough. Very good. Condiments provided as needed. The mimosas were good as well. Only issue we had was the constant presence of our waitress. We felt she was rushing us. Coming frequently to ask if we were done. She picked up the condiments when we were not finished. Other than that it was a great experience. I would definitely come back to try their pastas.

I was invited here by a friend. I was feeling indifferent this night, so I said ok. I tried the meatball small plate and full chopped salad. Overall, everything was good. Somewhat of an over priced menu, like the naked truffle fries for $14. But, what isn’t overpriced in LA these days? Anyways, the service was good and the food met my expectations. I wasn’t wowed, meaning there’s nothing that I ordered that would motivate me to return immediately. But, if you like what you see. Visit :) SN: I felt like it took me 3 hours to eat the chopped salad. A bunch of tiny salad pieces and a narrow fork. I was starving. Kinda just wanted to hold the plate up to my face and rake it in my mouth 🙂 #classy

This is an amazing Italian restaurant in between Silverlake and Sunset Street. I eat a lot pizza and this is one of very best ! Their pizza dough is too notch since import from Italian and they cook the pizza using real wood smoked! Their pasta is also amazing as well and best party is the freeeee parking lot in the back !

Let me start with Khachapuri, Which is the reason we came here. It was pretty amazing, eggs, cheese, dough all were spot on and it wasn’t too far from the original which you can enjoy in country of Georgia and it’s called Adjaruli Khachapuri. Place was decent also with super friendly server. Overall I would give this place 10 out of 10 basically it is what is says it is, nothing more nothing less. We also found great selection of Pizza and Pasta on the menu. Definitely will be back very soon.

Great place to visit for Italian food. Started off with the Tomato & Basil Bruschetta as an appetizer, perfect size, and I didn't fill me up as other appetizers usually do to some of us. Then proceeded with the Classic Margherita Pizza. This was a great tasting pizza. It was light, with a thin crust. No fuss with crazy or extra ingredients, just give me the pizza and let's go! I ended up getting dessert, went with the Multi-layered Honey Cake. This cake was on the dry side, wasnt much moistness to it, but my waiter did mention that as I ordered it, and recommended I add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top to help with the dryness, it was the perfect touch! My waiter was honest, and thoroughly explained his recommendations, thank you for that, greatly appreciated! There was no wait time to be seated when I arrived in a Saturday evening. The food took just a little long to come out, but nothing major. Freshly made food is what I care about, and this place has it! The place was clean and well kept. However it was on the noisy side, but it was a Saturday evening. The parking lot is tiny, you will have to park on the street or elsewhere, unless you get lucky and find a spot in the actual parking lot. It's a great place, I recommend it for sure!

I looked on Yelp a pasta restaurant in downtown L.A area and I found this place, I was captured by the pictures on the page and decided to come and try it out. I ordered the burrata & crostini and the carbonara pasta (substituted bucatini for pappardelle) and it’s the best carbonara I’ve ever had!. The patio had good ambiance and was clean and the inside looks great too. I live in Florida but if I was in the area again I would stop by again.

Wood pizza of silverlake displays some of the best pizzas around as they use a fire pit to bake their breads. It's crunchy and chewy and has good texture which is what bread should be. You have to try their Khachapuri (goldola pizza) made with two eggs that just melts and oozes from the bread as you cut into it. As we go from that to the crispy brussel sprouts which is bitter and sweet with that pomegranate balsamiclike glaze that they cook it in, it makes you just want to eat more and never stop. We also got their steak and eggs which has a good chew and it's already cut up for you so you don't even have to cut it. You can just dig right into it and egg it with their eggs that they are known to go with every meal. Those organic eggs are just a cholesterol of good goodness along with some veggies that just pair quite well with this dish. I would say if you aren't gluten free and like to eat bread, this is the place to drop by in silverlake. They also have some parking spots in the back.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! I had the chicken pizza and my friend had the hot sopressata, well I cannot tell you enough about these main courses, it’s thin crust which i loved, a lot of toppings and they don’t suffocate you with cheese and flour which is refreshing. For starter we had the crispy Brussel sprouts which had a sweet taste to it cause of the sauce they used, it was different but not bad. For dessert we got the cannoli which was covered with cinnamon inside out, did not like this just ate a bite or two of it, yet these are my opinions so if you’re into creamy cinnamon desserts, you should give it a try, parking is horrible lol but the staff omg! They’re really loving top notch! Thank you guys. Giving a star less cause it’s a bit pricey for a pizza place.

Pizza at Wood is amazing. They import their flour from Italy and you can definitely taste the difference. The sausage pizza with pepperoncinis is def my recommendation. Only reason I’m not leaving 5 stars is the caesar salad had literally no flavor and the waiter was rude and kind of weird when we sent it back.

Amazing food and service! Was very impressed with this restaurant. The 4 cheese and truffle pizza was delicious! Had to order another pizza to go. And the RIB-EYE!! It was cooked perfectly where it was medium rare throughout the steak not just the center. It was seasoned perfectly where it did not need any steak sauce. Quality food and service. What more could you ask for. Highly recommend!
