This place was really good. While looking at their menu, the person behind at the store gave us some free taste and we are hooked! The meat definitely melts inside your mouth and you have the chance to choose what kind of sides you can est it with. If you haven’t tried Mexican food, better go here.

It was my first experiences eating a local Mexican tacos and it was perfect. So I ate it twice when I visit LA. I miss this place so much because I am living in Canada. The best place for me.

Best carnitas tacos in LA period. I’ve been coming here for years! Love their tacos (their always HUGE size) and freshly chopped off the pig. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. Salsa bar to add to tacos. Occasionally they sell out and close early for the day. Tacos always slap and this is a guaranteed stop every time I’m in DTLA. 10/10

I had the mix carnitas taco. Out of the 3 taco shops I’ve tried at the market this was the best. The biggest portion as well as the tastiest taco, and also maybe the cheapest. The mixed carnitas with the crackling added was ridiculously good. I really enjoyed it.

Very lively ambience and upbeat located at the Broadway entrance of Grand Central Market, bar table seating is available, but plenty of table seating inside or outside. Service is friendly and welcoming, they give out sample bite at the beginning. Self serve sauces and condiments. Food: Delicious meats, all parts of the pig. Carnitas, maciza, cueritos, lengua, all highly recommended. Taste authentic, slow cooked pork Michoacan style. Very generous servings with the meat. You can actually split into 2 tacos.

Carnitas are yummy, sizeable tacos, I got full with two tacos de mixta. A bit pricey for a taco but i guess its about the location. Always busy but they do service fast. I spent $17 for three tacos and a water. Seems a bit much, but convenient location and tasty. Will def return.

Probably some of the best tacos I've had!! Got the mixed, so it was a perfect proportion of fattyness and meat. Their sauces were amazing and the limes were the juiciest I've ever squeezed onto tacos. Definitely a top spot for me

The flavoring of the carnitas is outstanding! Best carnitas in the area. Prices are steep compared to the neighborhood establishments but it's well worth it because they specialize in carnitas. The horchata was good too, not too chalky or sweet. The service was friendly but it is difficult to hear. Note that there are 2 service counters one either side so if the line is long, check the other side. Also note that the condiments are in the south side (left side when facing the bar type seating).

Saw the line out the door, got in it and waited for 10 minutes to order. I got a carnitas Burrito and was amazed and how intense the flavor was. People were lining up just for takeout massive containers of pig parts and organs. Such a great spot totally worth the wait and visit

Had 1 butt taco and one mix. Both were amazing. However I prefer the butt lol. Some of the best authentic carnitas I have had. Well worth the wait in line. And the location is also great.

OMG. As soon as I got to the Grand Central Market I went straight to Villa Moreliana. These tacos were amazing. Tender and plentiful. I swear I could’ve eaten another 3 (I ate 4!) I’m going back tomorrow!

Amazing tacos de carnitas! We were blown away how good these tasted. They put a good amount of carne on the taco and for sure you'll be full with 2 or 3 of their tacos. Loved it!

Amazing food and service. Carnitas is some of the best in town. Service is awesome too. Couldn’t decide on what type of lengua (beef or pork) I wanted on my taco and he suggested mita y mita (half and half), how perfect. This was actually my second time eating there the same day. Was in a small group for carnitas and cueritos which was amazing, so wanted a few tacos to take home. A little disappointed that the run out of items in the middle of the day, like the cuerito and buche, but happy I was able to get the carnitas and lengua, as well as experience the service first hand. They used to give you free samples which was basically the size of a regular taco anywhere else. Must have stopped because of Covid, but the ones you do pay for are huge so factor that in. They are $5 each, but you can literally make into two tacos. I can barely finish 2-3, so factor that in. Make sure to give them a try. Sorry, only took picture of what’s left of the group order which was a pound of carnitas with cuerito.

Extremely great value for your money. Tacos are flavoured really well and you can definitely taste the meat as they fill up the taco with a lot of meat. I would definitely go again without hesitation.
