One of the best Chinese restaurant in China town, used to be called plum tree restaurant, now it's Broadway.
Their food is way better then the previous one.
The prices are best during lunch special.
Love the food they serve, very light and not greasy.
The hot and sour soup was very good and very tasty.
Beef steak was tender and favorable.
I would highly recommend this restaurant, and would definitely come back to try other dishes.
Good food for reasonable prices and generous quantity. With efficient service. Recommended when you don't look for anything fancy/original but solid.
Broadway Cuisine is conveniently located right across the subway station. There is ample seating at Broadway Cuisine. Quick and courteous service. Shared the Peking Duck with a friend and it came out quickly and well-prepared. The duck skin had a good crunch to it and the duck itself was well-flavored. Came here on a weekday for dinner and there was lots of seating available. Definitely recommend coming here if you are at Chinatown LA and would like to support a small business

This place was able to accommodate a party of 40 (we had made a reservation in advance) with little to no issues, and serve us all without any problems. Just for that alone, they deserve the 5 stars but let me expand a bit on all of the other stuff they did well.
The food was amazing. Cooking for 40 people (we were all split into 4 tables of 10 people in each table) is no easy feat. They handled all of our requests and were able to serve us with no problems. My table ended up paying around 30 bucks per person (a couple of them left early, so it ended up being split amongst 8 of us) but we truly had a FEAST (I only attached pictures of some of the family-style plates that we ordered, I missed some other ones).
The ambiance is great. Big, spacious, clean, neat and tidy restaurant. The bathrooms were impeccable too.
Amazing place to celebrate any special event or just to go grab dinner on a Saturday or Sunday evening!
Authentic Cantonese cuisine. My Cantonese wife thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We had the Spicy Eggplant, Yang Chow Fried Rice, Kung Pao chicken, Tofu with mushrooms, and Ong Choy. The eggplant and King pal check-in were our favorites. Everything was great! The staff was warm and helpful. The only thing to be careful of is the free parking in the rear as there is only one way in and out, so exiting is a challenge. We will do street parking next time and walk. We see this as our go to Cantonese restaurant now.
One of our go to places. Reminds me of a Chinese food restaurant I went to as a kid. My daughter and I always enjoy. The portions are generous and we always go home with leftovers. Tonight we started with vegetable eggrolls, which were crispy and packed with flavorful fillings. The Kung Pao chicken lo mein had tender chicken, hearty noodles, and a bit of a spicy kick. We always get the orange chicken. And the house special beef steak in black pepper sauce was especially delicious (unfortunately didn't get a photo)!
This is the best hot and sour soup I’ve tasted in a long time, just wow! The Kung Pao chicken was delicious too!
Good meal with family or a means to treat yourself on special occasion. Also great service, though soup bowls could be a little bigger.
Really fantastic Chinese food. Not a giant selection of dim-sum but quite a giant selection of Chinese fare. The sweet & pungent chicken was definitely the best dish we tried (not pictured). The eggplant was good and made for really fantastic leftovers, you don’t even need to reheat. The spicy wontons were alright but arrived to the table a little too cold (temperature wise). Beef chow fun with vegetables was good but if I ordered it again I would just get the regular chow fun as I’m not a big fan of bok choy. Overall really fantastic meal, I’d love to return to try some of the other items on the menu!
Ok, let's go to Los Angeles' Chinatown. Now what? Look for parking. Screech! Free parking in rear for Broadway Cuisine. And we're well satisfied with our choice. At this writing, 12/18/2022, $12.95 will get you a mound of chicken lo mein with veggies and noodles similar to pad Thai. It was great and so was the veggie mu shu my partner ordered. Greeted with a hello and a complimentary pot of oolong, the surroundings were clean and done in a very nice marble tile and clear glass blocks. Excellent service where the server plates your food. Upscale that we're not used to. Would frequent this place, alas we live 2600 miles from LA. We believe this place is something to rave about.
