I was so sad to discover today that they closed on May 1st with just a sign in the window. I'm crossing my fingers they will reopen somewhere. I have tried the copycat ShopHouse and it wasn't so good. RIP Kaya Street Kitchen, roti tacos, and kaya toast.

Enjoyed the tofu entree! Generous portions, fresh, cooked correctly. Chipolata style order and assembly process, but completely unique flavors and ingredients. Table side a new to me sweet Indonesian soy sauce with molasses hints nicely accented the meal. Very basic dining seating: self serve fast food seating.

After a whirlwind, busy week last week, I was left with a weekend with no commitments and I didn’t waste any time thinking about it!. I originally wanted to take the bus over to the mall in Century City, but the bus I ended up taking stopped too short. I turned out to be more convenient just walking along Fairfax, eventually stumbling upon the grocery stores I have come to know well.

Delicious!. These guys are so friendly and lovely. Such great customer service. Plus their food is fantastic to boot. I tried one of their bowls, some kaya toast and a Lychee Mint tea. Loved all of it. Especially the tea! The place was pretty packed and seems to be trendy atm - and really no wonder, when it tastes that good!

This place was packed, even at a half hour before closing. It is a trendy Korean eatery right near The Grove. I feel so lucky that we found it, because it was one of the foodie highlights of my trip. The food was seriously fantastic. The people who worked there were so warm and lovely. It was a ‘create a bowl’ sorta deal, with a Asian fusion twist. Coconut lime rice, kale, spicy corn and more. They also made tacos that I wish we had tried too.
If you have the chance, definitely try their Lychee Mint Tea. Super refreshing, delicate and not too sweet. I loved it to bits. They also make kaya toast if you aren’t filled to the brim yet.

A must visit if you are near The Grove!

Wowowow. Oh my goodness, this place is amazing. The tacos are HUGE and so delicious - my favourite is the tofu with peanut slaw but you can mix and match and have something different every time. Last time I asked for two lettuce wraps and one roti taco and they were happy to accommodate me. They've got something for everyone. For $8, this is an amazing deal - I always have leftovers. The bowls are great too, especially with the coconut lime rice.

Highly recommend. Amazing food, great service. Kind of like an Asian chipotle. The California bowl was delicious. My wife got the "beef up" as tacos. Those were also incredible.

Great CSR take on South East Asian inspired cooking! Limited seating and street parking. Delivery is available through Grubhub and Uber Eats. Catering is available. Try tem. It's just that good!

The food looks beautiful 5. The staff is super helpful and nice 6. The vibe inside the place is great Nothing bad to say at all! I’ll definitely be coming here more often!

The place is great! It's a modern fast-casual restaurant that offers high quality, delicious food to its customers. The staff members are super nice and have different competitive edges to master the restaurant industry in L.A. I absolutely loved them! My tofu was great; even if you are not into healthy food the taste will impress you. I ordered pork meatballs to go with my tofu and the flavor was different yet so good! Oh, the portions are also huge! Rest assured you'll LOVE this place!!

I'm still thinking about the time I went to Kaya Street Kitchen, and it has been about a week or so. The person who greeted me was upfront and told me that I could try a sample if I was curious about something in particular. I ended up getting the tofu and steak combination with salad, and wow! The flavors are incredible, without being overwhelming at all. The portion was perfect -- I was left feeling satisfied that I ate such flavorful healthy food! If I lived near this place or worked near this place, I would most definitely be a regular here. Unfortunately, we live quite the distance away (Northern California). We will for sure be back the next time we come down to LA. OH! And we got to see the owner at the end of the meal! She is super kind and thoughtful. Most definitely will be back.

This place is surprisingly good. It follows the build your own bowl formula but all the ingredients are cooked well. I think the cold veggies are too cold and contrast a bit too much with the hot rice and meat. The prices are reasonable and portion size is satisfying

I have to admit I love places like this where you can build your own meal! I choose the ginger green tea noodles as a base with lemongrass beef and other toppings. The noodles were great really delicious! I didn't enjoy the beef as much as the noodles, don't get me wrong it's good but the noodles were great! They definitely need though either to hire more people or for the current staff to work a little faster...Other than that it's good place for a quick healthy bite!

I really enjoyed this place. I got super bowl, which is your choice of base, I got half brown rice and half coconut rice, with your choice of 3 items, and veggie toppings of your choice + fried egg on top. It was healthy and pretty big portion. I couldn't finish eating all. And my favorite was lychee mint tea. That was super delicious. Must try

Pros: FRESH, local ingredients, tons of great & healthy options (vegetarian options too)! Jasmine was super friendly and helpful too! Great food! Super quick service, and good prices too! Cons: NO RECYCLING!!! :( What a tragedy for a healthy-local-earth-friendly company. Mother Earth is currently crying.
