I went there a couple times these past two years however today I went back after not going there for a couple months. They redid the decor and added alot more tables so you don't have to wait to long for a table to become available. The food is out of the world, I got the house burger and fries. The food is out of the world the portion sizes are just right. The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful! Definitely will be going back!
Not that this is a burger place, but I have to say, the burger that I had there was phenomenal. It was on a home made pretzel bun and I had crispy pastrami on it. Was memorable!
They said "We're going to a kosher restaurant," and my face dropped. However, this cramped hole in the wall had the tastiest menu I've ever enjoyed. Tried samples of schwarma, paleo-Mediterranean plate and the best cole slaw 3k miles from New York. CanNOT praise this place enough. Will be Jonseing Got Kosher for the rest of my life.
Excellent food, excellent service, very nice setting!
Get there pulled beef, the beef and rice soup was amazing. These folks know their fries too!!!
Very friendly, excellent food, cater to people with allergies, one of our favorite restaurants to go to. In fact we had dinner there tonight!
The new pastrami cured in-house is fabulous... like the original best (turkey and sauerkraut int he Ruben)... But t love the Tunisian sandwich so much in all its versions it is still #1 on my list... the chakchouka is fantastic, too. and the canales when they have them!
I ate here last week with my family while on winter break. Food was great. Menu was very large and diverse and the value was outstanding. Highly recommended.
i always get emotional when i see u challah, like today at lazyacers santa barbara
Got Kosher Just catered the event for the Breed Street Shul Project with among other delicious items, the best vegetarian and chicken bastillas I have very tasted. I will return for more of these.

Awesome and so yummy indeed
The BEST BAKERY IN ALL OF Los ANGELES??? Pies are incredible!!! You want to please your wife. Your friends. Do you want new friends? Do you want to propose? Do it with their pies. Their challahs are incredible!!! They make the best pretzel challah and every other kind. I love the kalamata!!! Plus the owners are the most special holy souls in the world!!!blessings!!!
Best bread and bakery. The rosemary focaccia is incredible, as is the sourdough and, omg, the chocolate challah is amazing.
The Pulled beef brisket sandwiches are daredevil good. I dare you not to get addicted. The onion rings are packet bought - crap. But the bread and meat, and everything in that sandwich make up for it big time. Just stick to the pulled beef and you'll fill any fast food craving you are having.
Got Kosher is my favorite kosher bakery. Their sourdough bread and challahs are amazing. I also love their orange blossom cake. The owners are lovely, it is always a pleasure to shop here.
Spectacular! Best bread I've ever had? and the owner is so nice. I have digestive issues and this is the only bread I can eat and it's so good it's the only bread I want to eat.
This is a great bakery. You should try it. Love it!!!
We just had the best burger from them. The pretzel bun was Amazing. Everything was delicious - the sauce, the sauteed onions the meat. And the fries are made of fresh potatoes made to order, not frozen or processed. Yum yum!!!! finally a place that does it right. Great quality *****
My husband and i took a friend to Got Kosher this week. She wanted to know why she hadn't been there before-she liked it so much. You were out of pulled and rotisserie chicken which was a shame as I love the pulled chicken sandwich. You were also out of fresh onion rings. We come from Northridge because of the great food, good prices, Gregory and Linda. The chicken soup was fabulous.
Great takeout - I highly recommend their Memphis style brisket sandwich or their stews. Their challahs are considered very good and their sweet baked goods are not only very good tasting and of a high quality, but they are also made to look very nice/elegant.
I came here with 2 other Yelpers and we all purchased their Groupon deal. I looked up Yelp reviews prior from purchasing the deal and was intrigued to try Tunisian cuisine. Got Kosher is a mix of North African, French and Jewish food. Sounds unique, right? Here's what I ordered:
Royal GK Burger- beef patty, crispy pastrami, avocado, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, chipotle mayo and served on a pretzel bun. -$16.99. There was nothing unique about the flavors or burger at all. The burger was juicy and tender and overall it was decent, but really for that price? It also came with a side of fries. I could have went elsewhere and paid a fraction for a burger and it would have been just as good, or even better.
We also ordered avocado egg rolls and it was served with cashew tamarind sauce. The rolls were good. I did not try the sauce.
Overall, this place is just okay and honestly I don't feel incline to return. Maybe, I should have ordered the traditional Tunisian food, but a burger was safe and it didn't blow my mind and really for $17? I'll pass next time.
This is a small restaurant with a few tables. They offer pastries as well, but I didn't get a chance to try them. The customer service was great and he was attentive.
Parking- street parking or you can pay for parking in a private lot
I loved this place. It's got an eclectic menu but I decided to go for the Tunisian cuisine since that's usually harder to find kosher. The b'stilla (chicken and almond pie) was one of the best foods I've ever eaten - perfectly balanced between savory and sweet. The lemon raisin chicken tajin was also excellent - the broth was thick and tart but not overly so. They even have Dr. Brown's in glass bottles! I didn't even know they made that!
I would definitely come back here again.
I ordered Postmates from them and they gave my order to the wrong Postmates driver. When i called to let them know they told me it's too bad and i should let Postmates know it's not their problem. They were also rude to the poor Postmates driver who was just trying to do his job.
Delicious bakery, great croissants, bagels, and the “Best” Pretzel Chala…. and of course Chocolate Pretzel Chala.
Excellent customer service, I recommend you to try it, you will become a regular 🥐🥖🍰
I do not understand any negative reviews of this place -- at least, not as to any of the North African dishes.
The North African food is not "good for a kosher restaurant." It is also not "good for a glatt kosher restaurant." It's just plain good -- no, correction -- GREAT.
[I'm not Jewish (or anything, really). But I get takeout here on the way home from my office -- and when I get home, I inhale whatever I ordered as part of my "Working Through The Menu." I have not had a bad call yet.]
And I never found the service "slow" -- they're cooking something of quality. If you want fast food, go to the MacDonald's down the street.

My family and I love Got Kosher! Everyone is always so friendly to my two sons. And on top of all that, the food is delicious!! The pretzel challah is simply the best!!
