The Corner Store in San Pedro is my favorite place to hang. I am lucky enough to get to play music there on Saturdays noon to three. Not only a cool hang, but they have a wonderful huge selection of sandwiches, food and drinks. Looking for your favorite soda pop? I bet they have it. Seems like a hundred brands and new ones showing up. I discover a new favorite each visit. Last week was a Huckelberry soda. Wow!!! That's tasty. It's a great place to bring your kids and family. Seating inside or outside. Old fashion neighborhood store like I had growing up. Locals love it and it's worth a visit. 5 stars

This is such a special place for our community and visitors. They have great coffee, a variety of unique sodas, delicious sandwiches and breakfast items, as well as wonderful gifts too. Peggy provides a wonderful atmosphere where people feel at home and enjoy meeting neighbors and friends for a coffee, tea, pastry or lunch. She is generous to open the store for community gatherings, live music, hosts Halloween events and Christmas events for the children. We are lucky to have such a special place in our neighborhood.
My favorite place in San Pedro, for coffee, a nosh. A unique cafe, packaged goods, candy/toy store, featuring local art and music, tons of history and funnies covering the walls. Old school, full of locals of all kinds, the great vibe of Point Fermin and the Paseo Del Mar, you can bring the doggies (outside).
My husband and I walked here today from military housing with our doggy. We got some cool soda flavors and ice cream. We meet Peggy and got to know a little about the store history and her passion for our community in Pedro. I highly recommend this place! Loved it.

Love the corner store. Great coffee and sandwiches ..They have old fashioned sodas. You can sit outside and enjoy ocean air, or inside where live music may be playing while you browse hand made jewelry, art, or awesome toys.

When we have guests visiting from out of town, the Corner Store is the place to go for a great bite to eat. Who doesn't love the warm and welcoming atmosphere and a true 'PEEDRO' experience among the locals gossiping about what's happening in town? Peggy and Bruce are welcoming and very generous supporting our community. The Corner Store is my 'go to' place for my morning coffee after walking at the beach or along Paseo. Perhaps I will see you there!

I just love The Corner Store! What a great little neighborhood gem. I always feel so much at home there each time I visit. And have you tried their great croissant breakfast sandwiches and chibata burgers? Mmmmmm. I think I'm going to drop in and get one right now.

What a great place!! Old fashioned in every best way - no corporate gimmicks or TVs, just good food, lovely people, and a fab quick stop for a coffee, treats or great children's gifts!
Makes for an excelent breakfast stop for me walking from Pt. Fermin Park. Food and people are great, they also have a nice tiny library, yesterday when I was there a dad was reading he's girls Clifford the Big Red Dog...doesn't get much better than that..�
Visited this place for the first time ever. My wife had a hamburger which she loved, I had the breakfast burrito. Best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Can't believe I've been in San Pedro for over 30 years, and never been here before. Will definitely be back.

We have stopped back several times after we found this gem of a place.
The food, is fantastic and delicious! We have had their sandwiches which were perfect, or you can have a great pastry and a fantasticly prepared Latte( blows away Starbucks ) whci we have had to start our day off !!

The Coolest Spot in San Pedro. Whether you're looking for that morning jump-start of caffeine before you head out for work, a mid-day nosh, or a peaceful place to recuperate after a long day of toil; The Corner Store is just the "right kind" of place. Owned a few years ago by a couple of ladies from "down under", but since June '06; owned and managed by Peggy & Bruce Lindquist.
The Corner Store hearkens back to a time when "the local store" was a central gathering place for neighbors to eat, swap stories, or shoot the breeze - The Corner Store is just such a place. Primarily a coffee house,
but with groceries, specialty soda pop, jewelry, incredible baked goods (there goes my low-carb diet!), art and some of the best hot dogs, soup and sandwiches, there is always something for everyone here!
I go here mainly for the coffee drinks: Lattes, Cappuccinos - but unlike the "rat race" coffee houses that are so popular; here I feel at peace, at ease - as if I was on vacation. To me, The Corner Store is an escape from our terse and frantic paced life to a simpler time where people enjoyed life more. Peggy has an extensive
background in the food service industry, but she says she is happiest now, here. I think this place is an
extension of her good natured personality.
The sea air will caress you, and The Corner Store will
woo you - you'll become a regular - I am! One of my favorite spots to just chill. BTW, they also carry the best hummus on the planet!
Absolutely amazing experience, definitely made mine and my boyfriends day a lot better. Great food and excellent choice of beverages! Along with cool Knick knacks around the store. Will definitely be here again soon ❤️

There was a great menu that even had sandwiches and wraps. There are lots of opportunities to eat al fresco.

This is a great little sandwich and pastry shop, in San Pedro.It's a unique little store,with a vast soda collection, toys,breakfast,lunch,dessert,snacks for sale. There is both indoor and outdoor dining.
The staff is great,very helpful, the almond and cinnamon twists are so yummy. Buy one and ask them to warm it up for you, you won't be sorry.

Best Local Store in San Pedro!!!! Staff makes you feel welcomed every time you walk in and the atmosphere is very relaxed. From the numerous varieties of Root Beer & sodas they have, to candy, chips, and then them even having their own menu for food and even coffee!! Oh man, stop by and check them out, I'm certain you will find something good to eat here. Burgers are 10/10! Feel free to hang around and eat inside or outside, there are tables for you to use!

Awesome place to stop by if you're exploring the area. Lots of drinks to choose from and they have a decent menu. My favorite are the burgers. They have dog friendly seating outside with water bowls.
Just a super chill place where you and your kids can go and pick from hundreds of different sodas and root beers, pay a little too much for each one, and enjoy it on the bluffs or out front. Makes for a fun and memorable family outing when you've only got an hour and 20 bucks in your pocket.

This place is great for all kinds of odds and ends. They have all the Broueri West varieties and so much more. Great stopping in here on our walks.
I loved The Corner Store reminded me of the one that on my home from school. There was so many bottled sodas to choose from. I got the Dad's Orange Cream soda. I will definitely be coming back and order from their deli.
Is my go to place for all the old school sodas I love it that they have them still available and the place is very cozy. There's a lot to see and try.
Love this place! I used to go here quite often as a teenager. So bringing my family as an adult is nostalgic in its own right.
