Almost 12 years of eating here almost daily. Love the crew, love the food and I especially love the coffee!
It is one of a few places open for full breakfast in Westwood village. The place is nice and clean with classic look and lots of light from tall windows. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. I like the choices of breakfast here. It is also located just a few steps from the Hammer Museum.
Stumbled upon this cozy breakfast joint downtown in a rush to catch an early morning flight, and couldn't be more impressed with the coffee, eggs, and simple service.
Online order. Not sure what’s going on at this location. I ordered pasta and a chopped salad (paying extra to upgrade) which usually has chicken in it, but it seemed that they ran out of chicken and avocado, because I didn’t get any. The vinaigrette was terrible, no flavor just oil.
Had Avocado wraps & blueberry muffins. The coffee too was hot just the way we wanted. Plenty of dine in space.
They were having some issues with their POS POS system and had run out of chocolate muffins and baby bundt cakes, but Stephanie worked it out and kept a happy demeanor.
Great food, great service and great coffee. Just a great place to eat!
Normally love this place for my lunch options of sandwiches, soups, or salads. I thought breakfast would be great. I chose the flatbread with spinach and avocado and it looks pretty sad. Will stick with regular breads next time.
Service was excellent. Quiet, yet friendly and relaxed atmosphere
So many great and tasty options, plus friendly staff. 😊
Such a great place to get a drink and a bite to eat! Stumbled in by accident (I got lost) but this was perfect - food is great, coffee was on point and service was terrific. Definitely recommend.
I love the Corner Bakery. It's one of my favorite places to eat. This location is beautiful. The service is excellent and very fast. The food is very fresh and tasty. It was really nice because I had my service animal with me and I was not hassled. We were even allowed to stay inside. My service animal is a small dog and since he hurt his back he was in a stroller. I was able to stroll him around comfortably and actually sit at a table comfortably without getting in the way of other patrons.
There's so much "hating" (as the kids say) upon this cafe and bear in mind that the employees are working to the best of their abilities to provide exceptional service. Notwithstanding the fact, that it's in a busy location adjecent to the Metro Center and plenty of people have anxiety to not arrive late to work. The demand is high and there's only so much that they can do for their customers. I've felt compelled to share an experience among fellow reviewers and interested readers. About a month ago I've purchased a sandwich, I noticed that it had great flavor and finished it. Later I was notified that a cook named Susan made it, she did a great job! Ericka is a friendly cashier and gave excellent service to customers, myself included. They're a very knowledgeable upon the menu and drinks. That's the way restaurants should be! I love the busy Downtown atmosphere in contrast to the ease of calmness inside the cafe. Great job!
