Visiting from Seattle and I can't tell you how saddened I am to not have a location near me! Everything my friends and I ordered was AMAZING and...it was even take out! I can't imagine the fresh, deliciousness that would roam around our palates if we had it fresh. It's a definite MUST in Cali!

The sec I stepped into the restaurant I recognized the hostess, they are the same one as the great food truck in Koreatown! Food is amazing! The service is so friendly and they are a family run business. I like that they created a video of Chief Kang talking about his story as an immigrant and how he connected with the food scene in LA. We ordered fried chicken and a seafood noodle but the host gave us A LOT MORE free food. And they are all so delicious! Definitely coming back again and again! Highly recommended:)

A foodie friend had introduced me to this place and I had passed by this place a few times and I have been meaning to try this place and I am so glad I did. I love this place! So I have been here a few times now and the first thing I noticed was the Thai Tea drink (without the condensed milk). It made such a great first impression. Then came the delicious side dishes and the rest is history. So I've tried quite a few things on the menu including the G-Dragon Ball (Yummm!), Deep Fried King Oyster Mushroom (Another big YummMm), Spicy Fresh Tuna Seaweed Rice Cake, Chicken Wings with Spicy Soy Garlic and Honey Butter, the Barbarian Empire Giant Beef Ribs, and A No-Bun Volcano Burger. Everything is so sooo good. The ribs are mouthwatering as it is marinated for four hours in a Korean BBQ marinade. The portions are also huge and the presentation is on fleek. I cannot help but keep raving about this place. I have brought a lot of my friends and co-workers and they have also fell in love. I also have had an opportunity to meet Chef Kang himself and he is incredibly friendly. I cannot wait to bring my family here soon because this is a huge 5 stars in my book. LOVEEE. Parking is easy as there is a plaza (valet at night). There's also street parking available.

Tried this Korean Fusion restaurant in K-Town LA for the first time and I am just blown away by its taste! They have a variety of food choices and the foods that I ordered with my friends are just amazingly tasteful. The waiter and the owner are very kind and their service is great! They can have a table up to 10 people of party size if you decide to go there in a big group. Even though they might have not a big indoor space, but they do have tables outdoor as well! Highly recommend to visit and savor different tasty foods at Chef Kang!

Saw this place had great reviews so I decided to give it a try.. The Chicken was phenomenal and the sweet potato fries were out of this world.. I can see why they have such amazing reviews! The whole staff team were friendly and very helpful with explaining menu items.

Incredible food with even more incredible people. Their Korean fried chicken is on-par with the best, their vegan friendly black bean noodle is their delicious take on it, and the monster burrito is the best pork belly burrito I've ever tasted. I'll go so far to say it reminded me too the best Philly cheesesteak I've ever tasted and it wasn't even beef! I will definitely go here again!

I must admit that this place was totally unassuming, but it NOT disappoint. Everything was so good. I'd highly recommend the glazed fried chicken drumsticks, the spicy seafood fried rice, and the Korean pork belly. Unlike many other places, their spicy is actually spicy, so govern yourself accordingly. Enjoy!

Pretty good for a fusion restaurant. I’m not a huge fusion fan, largely because I‘ve experienced overpriced dishes for mediocre, non-immigrant-run food. But this place seems Korean-owned, as expected in K-town, and charges fairly like any other nearby place. The pan fried seafood with rice tasted like a standard oyster sauce-tossed stir fry. But they do a killer job with all their fried food, like the chicken below.

We got the galbi jjim and crab clam curry soup. They were both delicious. The galbi was a little spicy for me but it goes really well with soju. The outdoor seating area has some heat lamps that will balance out the cold a bit if you're dining out at night.
