For all the wingnut element that Peet’s can attract by its Berkeley roots alone—Westwood maintains a healthy rate of nice people, UCLA medical center staff...and greedy undergrads hogging the tables.
We know if you need To Get Where You Want To Go, nothing substitutes for Peet’s. Bless the investment from der Deutschland and let’s keep making great product.

Great coffee. Nice staff. Most important: stable free wifi and chill music. A great place to study and work - just some time for yourself.
Good coffee and Limited selection of baked goods. Just like Starbucks. Somehow this location always occupied with college students, hardly any available tables. Maybe free WiFi and high ceiling are the selling points?
They are a chain that's only in few LA locales. I believe they are based in SF. They have trouble competing because of two big chains that dominate this market. However this place offers superior tea choices for those that aren't so big on coffee.
A beautiful coffee chain coffee shop with great drinks. If your on the go and in a hurry but want to feel like you aren't going 100mph this is the place to be
Absolutely love this place and the kind owners, Kim and Adriana. Simply yet elegantly decorated, it's a great place to enjoy a hand crafted drink and get some work or reading done. Parking is ample around the street. Loved the Horchata Latte, iced or hot! They're also open to filming if you need a cafe location and were fantastic to work with -Kim is great on film doing what she does on the daily- making great coffee with a smile;)
I haven't been to Peet's coffee for a long time. Great tasting coffee, too bad there aren't too many of them. If I have a choice, I'll pick Peet's over other chain coffee shop. I took one star off because the barista wasn't friendly and was in a bad mood.
Cheap, and affordable coffee with a large variety in drinks. I highly recommend the cold brew black tie. The drink consists of condensed milk, half and half, and cold brew coffee.
Also, there's almost always open seating with an abundance of charging outlets. Great study spot.
Excellent service with a cozy interior. The barista forgot my coffee for 5 min but offered a complimentary free beverage on the next visit. Truly values their customer base, not to mention the delicious cold brew.
I got an horchata latte at Peet’s Westwood Village that was excellent and well-priced. The friendly barista designed a pretty heart on cream for me. Very sweet and relaxing experience in a genuinely friendly atmosphere 😍 Love it!
You know, usually I hit the starbucks drive through but my mom had given me a Peet's coffee gift card so I thought I would take advantage of it. I drive by this place every day so yesterday I decided to stop in and get something hot. I told the lady that I usually get a white mocha and if she could make me something similar. Sure enough she did and honestly it tasted better than Starbucks. They definitely have converted me with that one drink. I will try out some other options next time and see if they still hit the mark.
Were it not for their North Berkeley roots, I wouldn't sniff a look and make my daily home base elsewhere. It opens 45 minutes later than nearby Starbucks--but all surgeons, nurses and personnel at UCLA Medical Center know how to GET HIGH for real. 5am open, 3-7% wingnuts during my days there...and great discerning staff.
Becca, store manager at Westwood, took the time, effort, and money to mail a card and gift card back to me after I accidentally mailed it to Peet's instead of a friend's son for a housewarming. She wrote a personal note and sent a business card with it. I had never even heard of Peet's coffee. Guess where I'll be going next time I'm in any city that has one?! Faith in decency restored!

Some of the best coffee on a planet made in the best keto ways so get a pour-over with that said you excellent I try the Ethiopian fancy or the Costa Rican cuz those are two of the best coffees on the planet coffee was probably invented by God in Ethiopia thanks to the goats dancing after they ate the berries. they're friendly here, best indicator to UCLA employees but they very smart and knowledgeable about any type of coffee any way you want it served much better than Starbucks and attention is their Forte please stop by if you have a hunger for Java mocha Bob or for any extremely proper roasted fresh coffee that they have!
The BEST. courteous and friendly staff. The coffee is always great and the wait is minimal when busy. Only drawback, you can't get a table... but that is not enough to lower them from a perfect score.
Great place for coffee. Today they had special where for every half pound coffee beans you buy you get any size any kind drink you want. Really great deal.
