I love indian food from all regions. There are a lot of good vegetarian choices offered as lunch specials as well as indian sweets here. I always feel like I've made a healthy choice that is tasty when I get to-go from this spot. Service is always fast and friendly. At times there is live music. Eclectic place in the los feliz/atwater village/glendale area. 👌😋
This is my favorite place in LA. Like a small vacation to India, going in there. The market has an unbelievable selection, and the restaurant is the best Indian food around. There’s no meat, and some of the dishes taste a little different than people may expect from their normal Indian food restaurant experience, but that’s what’s so good about it! I can’t verify because I’m not Indian, and India is a big place, but it just seems very authentic to wherever the owners are from. And it’s delicious! And affordable!
Amazing authentic Indian food/drinks. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options that are incredibly tasty. Parking lot on one side and market on the other with the restaurant in the middle. Reasonably affordable meals for budget lovers and students. Definitely recommend this treasure trove 💯
Swung by today to get my spice on. I like how both market & cafeteria women were friendly. Go here for hot plates: all vegetarian curries, rice, lunch specials. That’s not me. I came for ghee, ground cardamom. There are outside & inside tables to dine in. Go for it. I witnessed a Tinder date happening for their first meet. It’s become a cute place.
We frequently cone here for our Indian fix. We order the combo #3 which comes with 2 curries of the day served with basmati rice, chapati, veg samosa, pickle, salad, papad, and choice of 1 shake. We also order Naan bread. They have several selections of dishes to choose from. I wish they would bring back the mango pumpkin.
The dessert section is also good, they have so many options for sweets.
They have a market adjacent to the restaurant which you can get hard to get ingredients, canned foods and more exported from Asia.
A great option if your looking for Indian vegetarian options.
There is parking in the complex as well as street parking.
No frills dine in or take away restaurant. Great dosas and combos for less than $7 and full of taste. I recommend the classic Dosa Masala dosa, or paneer dosa. And a combo of two curries (vegan available). Not only a restaurant but you will find ANYTHING in their huge grocery store, from cricket bats, to statues, incenses, shoes, HUGE pans. An experience of the senses. Great parking as well. And most importantly always served very kindly by a staff who won’t hesitate to help and reply any questions. Just a great Indian experience in Los Feliz, either you are curious of the culture, or following an Ayurvedic way of life, or missing India… this place is a blessing.
Just love this store , the staff and the services they provide to their customers are just unbelievable helpful, polite and smooth. All the products are well organised specially hot food is just amazing.
So happy and thankful to this store who provides purity and taste in each item ❤️
All in one grocery store for Indians living in LA. Good quality products at very reasonable prices. I met with the owner, who helped me find the things quick when I first landed in LA and found nothing close to my place (Burbank).
Since this has been running since many years, it seems they have a strong supply chain. I recommend this store for groceries and sweets.
Wow what a wonderful huge store with almost all Indian items , delicious food In restaurant . One of the best Indian store I’ve ever been in USA . Owner & staffs are really helpful.
One of the best Indian grocery and restaurants in LA. You can find everything you need for cooking. The restaurant part of this business evolved over the years, but the quality remained the same offering variety of vegeterian dishes. Their special meals are great value. If you are in for a quick snack, samosa with mango lassi or masala Chai would do the job. Used to be my weekend hang out place for shopping and eating. Unfortunately I have moved far far away and haven't been able to find a replacement 😞
Canteen style Indian Great vegan and vegetarian options. The chai tea is a must and the sweet pastries they make are a great gift for peeps
Is it an Indian ethnic grocery store or an Indian cuisine kitchen with tables and chairs? It's both! I don't know the first thing about Indian groceries or food but people I know and respect do and they rave about this place. Great selection of so many Indian products I could never list them all. They also have an entire aisle of religious items related to Indian culture. The food must be great as the eating area was full of people. The parking sucks as the lot is very small and street parking is difficult because of traffic.
Excellent food selection, inventory overloaded, and little organized may open up more opportunities for the sale and growth of business. Definitely need more help to manage incoming customers and to improve overall service. Customers' care comes in a big play to improve overall quality.
I can’t speak of authenticity because I’m not familiar with Indian cuisine but they have fantastic vegetarian food and super affordable. We love the amount of spice in the food. Their eggplant was the best. Mango shake was good but a bit too sweet for us. Definitely coming back for more!
I didnt know mango lassi was here! Ive had lassi before but this place made it better i can taste the mango more and consistency of drink is just right. I also had a combo yellow curry it was good they have a bread (unsure their name) like tortilla that went well with the curry. Lots of my buddies enjoy this location and now that ive fallen for that lassi ill definitely go back (introduced a friend and she likes it a lot too!)
