I first off would like to apologize to Jane for it taking me so long to post this review. I was in town for the WWE Wrestlemania event. However, my brother and I had a craving for Ramen. Now I travel all around the world and often for work. And a good bowl of Ramen is very hard to come by these days.
I must say when we arrived we were seated swiftly with the order placed within the first ten minutes food just started to arrive to the table. Not only was everything a delightful image that was presented but everything tasted so phenomenal. I would like to recommend the house blend of tea they offer. (It needs to be bottled up and packaged and sold across the world).
Altogether, I must say this place is now a new stable and hidden gem for me whenever I’m in the LA area. Trust me it’s worth the drive as long as you can find parking.
The service was awesome friendly and knowledgeable food was good but I felt it missing something and I suggest keylimes or lemon for the house spicy ramen
Interesting decor and looks staff. Menu is quite long and involved but I went with the Tonkotsu Black and that was a good choice. The broth was flavourful without being overwhelming, the noodles were the perfect consistency and the chashu was well cooked. Will definitely come back to try some other menu items.

What a wonderful Gem of a Ramen place. I came here expecting standard Ramen fare but there selection was awesome. They had homemade drinks such as iced honey ginger and Ice honey citrus, they had dim sum, their chicken ramen broth is to die for. Outdoor seating was nicely lit and not too cold. I will definitely come back the next time I am at Universal Studios.

Been here twice and really enjoyed the sushi, dim sum and curry rice bowls. For once I can enjoy a decent Asian meal without paying for an arm and leg. Atmosphere is very homey and cozy. Really appreciate the huge selection!
Good ramen restaurant with rice bowl and sushi dishes with great service. I mostly came for their pig shaped buns which were amusing to look at and delicious. The spicy tonkatsu ramen was good, good noodles and broth. Pork cutlet was okay. I also tried the Tokyo chicken curry rice bowl which was underwhelming but not bad at all. Would come here again to get the buns and ramen. The service was really good. Did not try their sushi or side dishes.
I am kind of torn about giving this place a four-star review because the food is just that good. I came in tonight with my wife for a random date night.
We read the menu and decided on the Tamashii bowl combo for two. My wife is not a fan of cabbage and asked that they please take it out. It was in the bowl when it arrived at the table. I was hungry and didn't want to send it back, so I portioned her bowl minus the cabbage. My side order of chicken chashu didn't make it to the table until I asked for it.
However, once I dug into my ramen, the broth had a great flavor. The pork was super tender and had a little bit of fat, which I loved.
I didn't get fast refills on my green tea but I did get them. Both my wife and I loved the pork gyoza and fried wontons that were included with our bowl. Although I have to say that the Pork Tamashii buns stole the show! I think if you could quantify food into a state of pure enjoyment, it would be this bun. If I were to ever be on death row this bun would be my final meal. (Knock on wood I never have to make that choice.)
I look forward to returning in the very near future.
Chicken wonton ramen was okay. The wontons were great but the broth was not my favorite. The sweet potatoes tempra were good but a bit oily. The staff brought me my check but forgot to bring a pen. They also forgot to bring my drink and the one was nice enough to give me two to go! It was not busy when I went, only two other families.
Parking sucks. But I suppose all good locations have poor parking. Definitely not the best ramen spot I've been to in LA but wad pretty good. The bun was the highlight over the ramen unfortunately. But maybe this place is going after hipsters more than a traditional dish. Who knows. The broth was weak. Should have been a bone broth from what I ordered. It should have been slightly creamy from reduction. This was more like a powder bases added to a broth.
This places ramen is good! My only hang up is the slow service. Great place if you’re not in a hurry. Great environment and lots of different Japanese options.

Great spot for ramen and sushi. Good service and menu. We love this part of Magnolia Blvd. Good vibe, good people watching, and lots of great food options.
This place is so good! I will be adding it to my stops every time I'm in LA. The tea was delicious and tasted like it was brewed with LOVE. The spring rolls were some of the best I've had. We got the tonkotsu ramen and I've been thinking about it for a week! The portion was great, the server helped with ordering so we didn't get anything too spicy. All around great experience!!
The atmosphere is chill, I everything I ordered was delicious (sweet potato tempura, crispy chicken, and my waitresses favorite Ramen - her name was Lauren) - service is ok but Lauren is the best ! ** also this might be random, but there bathroom stalls have outlets which could really come in handy if your on a creepy date and your phone dies ....lol that might sound funny but but seriously that’s kind of clutch for that reason
